[Rapunzel has been uncharacteristically quiet since the Carnival. It was... A big growth experience for her, and it forced her to see Mayfield's true nature. A lot changed, and yet... Nothing did. She's still stuck here, and she's finally coming around to decide she'll make the most of it, and do the best she can to help people. She really is a resilient lady.

What she finds in the mail that morning helps. First her guitar, which gets a smile, and then... Something that makes her shriek in delight.

Deja vu. Yep, Pascal is back.]

[B: Action; Morning to Dusk; John Doe Park]

[Rapunzel can be found in the park for the rest of the day, playing old, whimsical tunes on her guitar for herself and Pascal and anyone else who cares to listen.]

[C: Phone; Evening]

Hi, it's Rapunzel. I haven't really used this much since-- Well, how is everyone?

I was looking at the reports Ilsa gave me when I first got here... I want to help, if I can. There's obviously a lot going on here, and while I'm not sure how I feel about it...

It's important that people can get home if they need to. And maybe this will help with that.

It's obviously something.

[She clears her throat and continues.]

Annie is a name that was mentioned in... A recording. I don't have more on that. Richard, though... Samantha Ahcewood, she died one summer, and spoke about Richard Grey like a lover or close friend before dying. I haven't been here long enough to know who Samantha was, but...

I hope that helps at least someone.

...I'm worried. About my... My family. I know not everyone here thinks of their household as a real family, but I've come to. And I know a way I could protect them... Protect everyone... But it could mean losing Pascal.

It's selfish of me, isn't it? But I'm scared to let him go.

[A: Action; Early Morning; 917 Bilko]

[When Rapunzel checks the mail that morning, she finds a package. A rustling package. With airholes. It doesn't say what it is, but she can't help but hope as she opens it...

Cute a delighted, very loud shriek.]


[B: Open Phone Call; Early Morning]

Pascal is here! Oh, this is so wonderful... Pascal, say hello to everyone!

[Cue some chitterchattering sounds.]

...Oh. And, um... I'm really sorry to anyone I might have upset the other days. I.... I don't really know what was going on.

But thanks for taking such good care of me, Harley. It would be nice to meet you now! And thanks to everyone else who was kind to me.


[C: Action; Around Town; Afternoon to Evening]

[Rapunzel is spending her day showing Pascal around, talking to the little chameleon all the time. It sure seems like she understands the chattering he responds with.]

[A: Action; Early Morning; 917 Bilko Boulevard]

[Rapunzel's been having as good a time one can have in Mayfield, so far. But last night, being away from home so long finally caught up with her. She had the guiltiest nightmares about home; Eugene, Pascal... Mostly Mother.

Since before the sun rose she's been outside, just to look at the sky and try not to think.]

[B: Action; Afternoon; The Library]

[She couldn't find it on Mothers' Day, but Rapunzel is <em>determined</em> to find  that story about the girl with her name and, apparently, hair and living situation. The problem is... She can't get her hands on the right book, no matter how hard she looks.]

I know it's already been a while, but how did everyone enjoy prom?

Also, does anyone want to get together and do some baking some day soon? I have all these chances to try my hobbies with other people now...

Hello, everyone! This is Rapunzel! I've seen some of you around, or at school...

Well, anyway, I just wanted to say that it's two weeks until prom, and I can make dresses for anyone who needs one! I've had a lot of practice, and I'd be more than happy to help.

And, uh... I have a question, too. What if someone doesn't have a date to prom? Or isn't really sure they want one?

[Everywhere she looks, Rapunzel is finding something new, and each new thing inspires a mix of terror and excitement. She's so curious about this world, but she's also so, so worried about getting back...

Not to mention unsettled by the children in her new "home". But that's another story.

For now, she's exploring, so taken by the world around her that bumping into someone is entirely possible.]
