Pascal is here! Oh, this is so wonderful... Pascal, say hello to everyone!

[Cue some chitterchattering sounds.]

...Oh. And, um... I'm really sorry to anyone I might have upset the other days. I.... I don't really know what was going on.

But thanks for taking such good care of me, Harley. It would be nice to meet you now! And thanks to everyone else who was kind to me.


[C: Action; Around Town; Afternoon to Evening]

[Rapunzel is spending her day showing Pascal around, talking to the little chameleon all the time. It sure seems like she understands the chattering he responds with.]

[Well at least school's out apparently so Jim doesn't even need to ditch. Though he has to say he's not fond of the clothes...least he managed to get his hands on a black leather jacket. It's not the same as his other one but it'll do for now.

As he wandering around still trying to figure out how he got here he bumps into some girl.]

[It's the little reptile that draws his attention as he leans against the front of his workplace, watching people walk by, and he finds himself staring at it with one slim eyebrow slightly raised, faint curiosity in his eyes]

[ Over on the Porch of 915 Bilko Boulevard there is a small boy just tying up the laces of his very red shoes before the sudden shriek throws him off guard. As a detective any sudden loud noises must be investigated immediately. He jumps up and rushes over next door, poised and ready for action but- ]

[ Oh. ]

[ There doesn't seem to be any gruesome murder here. ]

Um... I guess everything's okay?

Oh! Gosh, yes, everything is wonderful! I'm sorry if I worried you.

[ And it is here where Yukko sees someone with really long hair talking to a lizard... Thing.

And the lizard appears to be talking right back. ]

[Sue approaches to get a closer look, her bird-like critter observing from atop her head.]

[Rapunzel isn't the only one who's got mail. Once-ler's been up an hour or so before her, completely engrossed in his own package. sitting cross-legged in the backyard, he runs his hand over the neck of his old electric guitar. it isn't even a question of whether or not it's the same one from back home; as far as he can tell, it is. worn in all the usual places, scuffed and scratched from all the times he's dropped it and, heck, even the same broken strings he never got around to replacing are there. there's no doubt at all in his mind that it's his.

question is, how'd it get here?

right as he's about to pluck a chord, he hears Rapunzel scream and of course he can't differentiate between delight and pain. he bolts to his feet and runs back into the house with the guitar in hand.

in hindsight, not the best idea. typically people tend to get the wrong impression when they see someone running at them with a instrument held like a baseball bat.]

What's wrong? What happened?!

[Between her shout of 'What are you doing?!' and her internal panic -- the fear is still so very programmed into her -- Rapunzel doesn't really hear what Once-ler says. It could have to do with still being shaken by her memories of the altered Once-ler, as well.

Either way, she flinches and makes sure she has Pascal safely shielded from attack against her shoulder.]
