[Rapunzel's been having as good a time one can have in Mayfield, so far. But last night, being away from home so long finally caught up with her. She had the guiltiest nightmares about home; Eugene, Pascal... Mostly Mother.

Since before the sun rose she's been outside, just to look at the sky and try not to think.]

[B: Action; Afternoon; The Library]

[She couldn't find it on Mothers' Day, but Rapunzel is <em>determined</em> to find  that story about the girl with her name and, apparently, hair and living situation. The problem is... She can't get her hands on the right book, no matter how hard she looks.]

I know it's already been a while, but how did everyone enjoy prom?

Also, does anyone want to get together and do some baking some day soon? I have all these chances to try my hobbies with other people now...

[Audrey had gotten up early, too, though for no real reason; she is just enjoying her day. She notices Rapunzel outside and goes to lean against the door.]

[She can manage a smile for Audrey; Audrey is such an amazing kid. She's so... Friendly and open; there's no fear of people. Not even here in Mayfield.]

[She giggles and, though he can't see it, rolls her eyes.]

[Henry's sitting in the library his nose buried in some books he pulled out from the shelves. He does a lot of reading for someone his age. But he pulls away when he sees a young woman searching for a book and obviously looking like she's not finding it.]

Do you need some help?

[Rapunzel smiles pathetically and nods.]

Yes... Help would be good. Do you know where I can find a story called Rapunzel?

[Rapunzel isn't as sneaky as she thinks she is. then again, Once-ler is a very light sleeper. when he feels the mattress shift, he opens one eye just in time to see her walk out the room. a quick glance at the nightstand clock puzzles him all the more. since when has she ever woken up this early?

a couple minutes later, he's padding out the door after her. he doesn't even put shoes on when he moves to follow her outside.]

[Rapunzel pauses but doesn't turn around. This is just... So personal. And she's been so trained to be a private person. Granted, most of the time it doesn't show, but...]
