second corpse ➸ action / phone
[a. action: Mayfield Hospital]

[Molly is at the hospital in broad daylight, which is normal for her: she's been working pediatric rotations, and there's no reason why she shouldn't be there, really. Only, she's not in the pediatric ward at the moment. She's in an abandoned-looking hallway in the basement of the building, the very hallway which contains the utility closets and boiler rooms, all of which are vital to the operation of the hospital. Since it's difficult to get her hands on Semtex and high-tech wiring systems that haven't been invented yet, so Molly is making do with a pipe bomb, fashioned from everyday materials found around the house and at the local hardware store. She plants it in the boiler room with care, attaching a timer which gives her plenty of time to play her little game.

She sidles out of the boiler room and spends a few minutes rooting around in a supply closet, coming out with a mop and bucket which serve as her alibi for being in this part of the hospital in the first place.]

[b. phone]

[It's Molly's voice, alright, but it's changed from her last message. Gone is any trace of nervousness, any sign that she's a timid little girl trapped in a woman's body. Instead, her voice is smooth, silky, dangerous, and above all, playful.]

Hello, Mayfield. Sorry to interrupt your fun, but I've got a little riddle for you all.

[She laughs girlishly, like this is a game of truth-or-consequences.]

Your time is ticking down, and in one little day, one of the fine institutions of Mayfield is going to go...boom. Ooh, isn't this fun! I'll give anyone who cares to have a go five questions...though I can't promise I'll answer truthfully.

[Her voice gets scarily low, just for a moment, and there's an edge like a knife to it.] And don't even think about searching for it door-to-door...or I might just set off a few more fireworks.

Ta-ta, darlings!

[It's been such a dreadfully long time since she's had this much fun. Nobody had better spoil it for her.]

first corpse ➸ action / phone
[a. action: 435 peepers and beyond]

[Now that Molly's at least a little bit in tune with what's going on here, she's set about exploring the place she's apparently got to call home now. It begins with a thorough investigation of the house, checking every nook and cranny for—well, she's not sure what, but something. Then, she spends some time wandering around the yard, looking in the mailbox, the empty doghouse, digging her toes into the sandbox.

Satisfied with this investigation, Molly takes a walk down the street, around the neighborhood, just trying to get a feel for Mayfield. It's creepy, she thinks, but splashed with little pleasant touches that make you feel at home, even if you're nowhere near home. Not the worst place she could be, she guesses.]

[b. phone]

[A shuffling sound, and Molly clears her throat.]

Erm, right, yes, hello. I'm here, now, I suppose—

Oh, right, my name is Molly, Molly Hooper.

[A muffled groan, like she's rolling her eyes at herself. Which she is.]

I just wanted to say hello to everybody, and I look forward to meeting you all!
