[Padmé can be found sitting on a bench, book in hand. But she doesn't appear entirely focused on it. Her stature is tense, her gaze unfocused and almost grief-stricken.]

B: Neighbourhoods

[She visiting those she knows, so expect a knock on your door. There are things to discuss and apologies to be made.]

007-- going through the motions  
A: diner ;; morning

[Padmé can be found seated in one of the booths, eyeing a menu with a mild expression on her face. Those dark circles under her eyes? More from stress than just lack of sleep.]

B: mayfield high ;; afternoon

[Marking papers handed in by droids is never an exciting prospect due to the fact that none of their opinions really differ. But the mundane task is actually pretty enjoyable for Padmé's current situation, so she's buried in work behind her desk.]

C: 1127 taylor road ;; evening

[Outside on the front porch, Padmé alternates between pacing and leaning against one of the banisters. One hand rubs tiredly at her eyes, while the other rests over her japor snippet.

Has she taken that thing off ever since getting it in the mail? The answer is no.]

006 -- It'll bring you good fortune.  
Outside of 1127 Taylor Road | Morning

[When Padmé steps outside to check the mail that morning, she hardly thinks anything of it. But the fact that there's a small packaging envelope waiting with her name on it does make her pause. Frowning slightly, she glances around before carefully opening it and peering inside. Her face lights up. ]

Oh!

[Fishing a hand inside the envelope, she pulls of a charm of sorts attached to a loop of leather string.

She runs a fingertip over the careful, yet clearly childish carvings, her smile fading somewhat. She then holds the charm to her heart before pulling the loop of leather over her head. ]

Something strange has happened. Has anyone else woken up not as themselves?

B: Action. Streets of Mayfield

[After riffling through her drone husband's closest and pulling on something presentable, Padmé heads outside, looking uncomfortably awkward. It's... not a good look on her.]

I think... I think I died.

[Padmé's voice sounds quiet and confused, like she's still trying to piece things together herself.]

But, how is this possible? When you- [She chokes on the word for a second, before firmly grasping her tone of cool control.] When you die, one normally doesn't return from death. Is it the norm at this place?

[She pauses.]

And somethings still don't feel right. I'm so cold.

[This morning, Padmé is seated behind her desk at the front of the class with pursed lips and hard eyes.]

Class, today you'll be reading pages 20 through 35 in your textbook. It's a silent activity, so no talking. Do you understand?

B: The Park

[Walking along the pathways with quick, agitated steps, Padmé has a heavy frown on her face and her hands clench and unclench themselves at random times. She radiates the body language of someone who doesn't want to be bothered.]

002 :: Class is in Session  
A: Action ;; Mayfield High ;; Morning

[Padmé certainly was fairly astounded to learn she actually had a job to do in this town- one she apparently has had for a few years. Teaching the young people of Mayfield about civics and government... talking politics certainly was something she was more than capable of, at least when it concerned the Republic.

But they certainly didn't have a Republic here. The functions of this government were completly foreign to the young Senator. But either way, she has a job to do, and Padmé wasn't one to dawdle when work needed to be done.

So she's standing at the front of a classroom, open book in hand with a professional smile on her face.]

B: On the phone ;; Later

It is odd how Americans portray themselves in these books of theirs. They certainly like to highlight on the finest atributes, don't they?

And I suppose a President is Earth's equivilant to a Chancellor in the Republic back at home...?

[That last bit is more muttered to herself than anything. She may be reading a book while chatting on the phone, okay?]

001 -- ACTION  
A: Location: 1127 Taylor Road | Morning | Open to housemates

[ Padmé knows something is wrong the minute she wakes up. Firstly, there's the fact that she's no longer in her bedroom at Varykino. This new room is completely unknown to her, which was very unsettling. To make matters worse, she wakes up alone.

Padmé remembers falling asleep in the arms of her new husband; feeling warm, content, and very much loved. All of her worries over their union had been chased away.

But now all she could feel is confusion, and loneliness.

Stepping out of the bedroom, Padmé wanders about the house, looking at photographs with a slight frown on her face.]

B: Location: Out and about | Early morning and on | Open to anyone

[ Once she's outside, Padmé wonders about the strangeness of the neighborhood and it's surrounding areas. Dressed in something that's honestly a little too plain for her taste, she's done her best with it and still has her hair styled in a rather complicated twist. She walks around at a brisk pace before approaching a stranger on the street.]

Pardon me, but can you tell me which planet this is? It is unlike anyplace I've ever been.
