Episode VI: The Memories are a Lie
{A: Action - Open to all}
-- location: Anywhere on the route from 1765 Beaver Street to 7132 Brooks Lane
-- time: Mid-late morning

[The first thing Luke thinks when he wakes up is that something is very wrong. It takes him a few minutes but despite not realizing that it's still giving him power, the Force is with him, strengthening his will and setting him on alert. By the time he's even out the door that morning he's well aware that everything he thinks he knows is false. Every memory is made up and every fact is a lie.

However, he's pretty sure about one thing: he can trust Kaylee. His false memories tell him that they've been having an affair for months behind the backs of their spouses, but Luke suspects that their relationship isn't of that nature at all.

He walks the familiar route to Kaylee's place, far too distracted by his rushing thoughts to be worried about what the neighbors are thinking. Anyone with drone-like memories that fancies gossip might be well aware of the adulterous goings on and might also be able to figure out where Luke is headed. As it is, many of the real drones are giving him dirty looks out their kitchen windows and from their front yards as they mow the lawn or wash their cars.

Luke leans up against the fence on the corner just down the street from Kaylee's house where he said he'd meet her. Despite knowing his memories are false, he's still not stupid enough to actually go right up and ring the doorbell.]

11th Key: You are...not a pirate...
[Action A: 7134 Brooks]

[The house is surprisingly quiet, without the hum of Galleon engines overhead. But why would there be that? This is the house of the Marvelous family! Your average down-on-their-luck family; father working hard at the barely-paying job. See him now? He's picking up the paper as breakfast is getting ready. Anyone inside, or on the streets can come up and say hi.]

[Action B: L'Déplaisant]

[Marvelous is working hard for once, getting food out to the lunch/supper crowd, his head beginning to twinge in between tables. But he'll still have a smile on his face as you call him over.]

[Action C: Phone]

[Marvelous will be in agony by this point, having found a certain large piece of cardboard in his front closet, along with that strange red coat. He needs someone to talk to about it: anyone he can.]

H-hey....any of you...know what's going on?

seventh snowflake - not in a good mood
A: 7138 Brooks Lane – Open (backdated to around the 1st

[ Why would anyone want to throw away clothes they just got, box and all? Because that's what Yukihina is doing right now; about to throw a white uniform into the trash.

Don't take this wrong; there is nothing really wrong with these clothes, they fit like a glove. This is his uniform, after all, no matter how long it's been used by the participants of the Kibou Fest – they were his to begin with. He's worn them recently, too. Durign the latest session of the Kibou Fest.

But right now, the white military uniform is only making him pissed. A hellofalot pissed. Because when he sees them, he can't think of anyone but that bastard Heike.

Today, Yukihina is quite different from usual. He's not one to usually rage, but right now, he is furious. ]

B: Phone (also backdated)

I'll kill them.

10th Key: Emergency! Dispatch!
[Action A: 7134 Brooks]

[Another day, another small package hanging from the mailbox.]

More fun.

[He'll snatch it up and take it inside to open it...]

[Action B: John Doe Park]

[The Galleon is parked on the ground behind some of the park's trees, where Marvelous is practicing some gunplay as DekaRed. He's using the ship as a safety precaution, in case any of his shots go wild and miss his tree-borne targets. But so far, that hasn't happened. Don't worry: he won't shoot you if you approach him! Well...except if you wanna pick a fight; he's always up for a spar.]

20 August 2012 @ 12:49 pm
trisdešimt trys; action
[Finding out about Mayfield's latest peculiarity would have been far more "annoying and concerning" rather than "sharply unsettling" if he hadn't found out about it via Poland's drone chattering at him a mile a minute, making that particular phrase as close to literal as it could get. And he was only asking Lithuania (or Mr. Laurinaitis) how he was over and over. It's the lack of Poland's pony, his flag, and the lack of nation feel that make Lithuania realize Poland's actually gone.

Backing through a tree is just the icing on the cake, to be honest.]

1333 Benny Road
[Hello, not!family! Lithuania is going through the house checking up on everyone, making sure they're present and accounted for. He's pretty obviously unhappy but he's also just as obviously trying not to look unhappy. He's also obviously on edge, as can easily be noted whenever he jumps at a flickering light or jerks back away from the sound of sudden static crashing out of the television.]

Estonia, Latvia, Ukraine, and America's Houses
[Lithuania is just checking up on you guys to make sure you're okay. As in still here. Also he is looking like a puppy who was kicked into the rain, metaphorically speaking but he's pretending he's fine. He's also trying to ignore any instances of his hand going through doors rather than him knocking like he actually intends to do.]

Are you alright?

Olney's Tavern
[The alcohol here has always been incredibly weak, and that's not when even the structure of the bar and class is so weak as to make it go crashing to the ground for no good reason. Still, Lithuania is trying his best to get himself drunk enough to stop feeling so awful, at least for a few hours.

It's not really working, though.]

They have no idea how to make decent beer here.

regains and booze and some shopping.
[Brooks 7138]
[ It’s the first time Rui has gotten mail from the town. Her ‘family’ has told her about regains, of course, and when she opens the two boxes she isn’t expecting them to be empty. Both of them. Completely empty. What the hell.

She turns on her heel and walks right into the house, slamming the door shut. ]

Hey, Yukihina! Are you the one who sent me empty boxes?

[Olney's tavern]
[ She’s walking into the bar (no surprise there, really, as she is kind of an alcoholic), dressed in Yukihina’s clothes as usual. She sits down at the bar, looking quite annoyed and quite an intimidating aura is radiating off of her. Whoever is working at the moment receives an annoyed look. ]

Give me something strong. And make sure it doesn’t taste bad.

[ If she gets bad booze now, whoever made it will be getting a taste of her forehead. Or fist. Whichever works best at the moment. ]

[Grocery store]
[ She might as well buy some food while she’s at it. She knows Yukihina won’t buy any (he doesn’t even have to eat after all), and someone needs to feed her daughters. She’s not going to go out of her way to be mean to them. Besides, even if her long-time friend doesn’t need to eat, she does. Not everyone’s an undead.

Everything that goes into the cart is things that will turn into healthy and good food for her family. All the unhealthy food in the store makes her frown. It’s insane how people can eat some of that food at all.

She makes a face at an extra unhealthy-looking package of what some people call food. ]
Someone needs to teach the people in this store to get rid of this stuff...

[Phone]
Why would they send an empty package? If there’s going to be something non-physical in it, least they could do is put some hint to what’s there. Do they think they're funny?

Third Crusade
[Action A: 7135 Brooks st.]

[Sweetie Belle has come to Rarity's house to ask her sister for a favor. Upon arriving she bangs on the door.]

Rarity, are you here?

[Action B: around town]

[Sweetie has takes Tsukasa's camera and is taking photos on the street.]

Excuse me, I got this camera and I'm looking for people to take pictures of. Would you do something and let me photograph it?

10 - So you blow on the connectors three times, and then tap it on your knee, and...
[Action A - Morning, 7132 Brooks]

[Picky had woken up convinced that it would be another normal Mayfield summer day. He washed his face, ate his breakfast, brushed his teeth... and then when he opened the door to head out and go find somewhere to play or something to do, there was a package. Right on the front step. And it was for him. And it was huge!]

Woah!

[He was quick to drag it inside, and wasted no time peeling off the packing tape and opening it up. Inside was his old NES, with two control pads (one of which was sticky and was missing the A button), and three game packs.

This was awesome.]

Kaylee! Key-Fu! Hey! Hey, I got something! I got something cool!

[Phone]

Hey, who likes video games? I got my Nintendo back! I did! And we've got it hooked up and everything! If anyone wants to come over and play... you can come over and play! I've got Mario Brothers, and Zelda, and Metroid... and that's it. But... but those're all really good!

[Action B - 7132 Brooks, any time of day]

[Maybe you heard the phone call and are stopping by to get your old-school gaming on. Or maybe you can hear the beeps and boops of those classic games coming from inside the house and are curious as to what's going on. Either way, Picky will answer any knocks on the door in the same sort of way.]

Come in! C'mon! ...aaah, d... drat! Shoot! Stop doing that!

[His exasperation is not at the visitor, but at the NES itself. Somehow he had managed to find someone to figure out how to get it hooked up to an ancient 50s TV set, but there was still an additional hurdle to vault. Old-style NESes were finicky, fussy things, and this one had belonged to the Minch brothers. Neither boy was the best caretaker of electronic equipment. Picky's NES only seemed to want to keep a game loaded for a few minutes at at time, before freezing... and that's when he could get the game loaded at all. This was turning out to not be anywhere near as cool a gift from home as he had thought it would be.]

14th Adventure
[Action: 7135 Brooks St. Aurora's excited to see two things in the mail for her today! One is a large, flat package about 3 feet high and two feet wide, wrapped in paper; the other is simply an envelope. Curious, she opens the bigger of the two there on the porch. Inside is a portrait painting, done in Aurora's colorful, loose style of a serious-looking young man. He has dark hair and glasses, and an expression that suggests that Aurora had to do a lot of coercing to get him to pose for her. Upon seeing this, she gasp, surprised, and delightedly exclaims:]

Li! Wow, I can't believe it! Of all the things they could send back...!

[Oh, right, there was still something else! Time to open that envelope. Inside is nothing but a card with a picture of a generic cartoon ghost on it. How odd. She's not sure what it could mean at first, and it takes her a bit till the idea dawns on her.

Oh. Being able to possess people is part of her repertoire, even if she doesn't like doing it. But is that what this means? There's only one way to be certain.]

--

[Phone call, filtered from drones]

Say, um... Could I ask someone for a favor. It's kind of a big one! And, ummmm... you have to not be afraid of ghosts, okay? And I'm being serious here!

1st Cameo: Make way for the Queen of Games!
Action: Outside 7135 Brooks

(Okay, so things were pretty boring outside of the carnival that left. Asagi's come to accept that, but apparently it meant people were getting things back, so she's been frantically checking the mail for things addressed to her when lo' and behold, stuff! One of them is a package, so once she opens it up...)

Oh, fuck yes! Mommy missed you two so much~

(Yes, she's talking like this to her twin pistols. They've been with her since day one, so getting these back is just wonderful. The other thing, apparently a letter, holds nothing but a photograph of some...light orb thingy? The hell's that all ab-

And suddenly, the words "LEVEL UP" briefly appear over Asagi's head, accompanied by a brief fanfare sound effect. The girl stands there in shock, knowing exactly what just happened.
)

My levels! Holy shit, I got my levels back! I am in business now! Ohohohoho!

Action: That place everyone likes blowing upJohn Doe Park

(Hope you weren't planning on a peaceful walk through the park today. Because this girl is pretty much going on a field day with her regained guns Just ignore that transformation part and the poor video quality. Yes, that is her normal firing speed and no, she doesn't seem to be stopping to reload. Care to jump and find out what the hell's going on?)

1st robbery - the fuck's this shit?!
A – Brooks, 7133 – Housemates only

[ So somehow, he found himself in a house after that... party... And he still have no idea of where he is, because hell, he never got any answers from that bartender. ]

Fuck, ain't there any booze in this house..?

[ Yeah, he's currently looking after alcohol. Not that he knows what a fridge is, so when he come across it, he'll back quickly and stare into it. What the hell sort of fucking monster is that? ]

[And it's in this predicament Latvia can find his new not!dad; completely confused, wanting his gun to shoot that weird thing, and he'll most likely cause the kitchen table to topple over soon. ]

B – Phone – Open

So this is what a ”phone” looks like? How do they even work? We sure as hell never had any in Utah when I grew up - even if I heard it being mentioned later - and there never were any in Bolivia, either.

The fuck's up with this shit, seriously!

C – Outside the Mayfield Bank – Open

Banker?! They want me to be a fucking banker!?

[ That is indeed shouted out in the middle of whatever crowd is there. ]

Why the fuck'd they want me as a banker?!

[ Because damn, he is - was? - famous for being a bank and train robber, for god's sake! ]

[Closed action at 7137 Brooks Street] )

[Open - in the yard at 7137 Brooks Street]

[He's out in the front yard in full cobalt armor, checking things over to make sure it's all there. All functioning. Okay, this is probably one of the best things that's happened to him since arriving. Feel free to bug him.]

[Phone - Open]

Well, I guess there's got to be some good with the bad. I got a nice delivery today. Missed my armor...

This is awesome.

Eighteenth Suite♪
[A. Action - Outside - Benny Road]

[Ako was in the middle of bringing in the packages when she happened on a couple for herself, looking it over. Deciding to open it there before it produced bees or something, she popped the top on the first one and found a card.]

Precure Shining Circle... huh. [Said card vanished as it flew into her chest and she grinned.] Everything's back now. Now I wonder what the last one is here...

[It turned out to be clothing. Not just any clothing, but her favorite outfit. Running inside, she changed and came back, tapping her sneakers on the cement.] About time.

[B. Action - Anywhere Else]

[Ako was wandering around, looking for friends and such to talk to. She wanted to see if everyone was okay now, and wanted to see if any of her friends got through the bad carnival unscathed relatively. She was allowed to be worried especially now that people were calling for revolution and such. Knocking on your door, she waited for it to be answered.]

9th Tea Party: Princess Perseverence
Action: Outside 7135 Brooks; for Rarity

(It was over...that terrible nightmare was finally over. Five hellish days of needless death, starvation and suffering were finally over. Somehow, despite her incredible recklessness, Kreutzer survived all of it, just like she told Rarity she would. She debated whether or not she should go home and clean herself up or go straight to the unicorn's house, but subconsciously, the girl found her way outside the household. Kreutzer looked awful; her face looked exhausted, her clothes torn, most of the blood on her wasn't even hers, she still needs food and sleep seemed like a luxury at this point.)

Rarity...Rarity...

(It was a poor attempt to call for her, but an attempt nonetheless. The fifth day's grand escape left her especially weak, particularly through the lack of water in her system. The dizziness was far too much for her to handle; Kreutzer collapsed right then and there, forcing a grip around her consciousness and refusing to let things end like this. Not now...not when she was so close...)

Phone; after a good part of her recovery

I want to believe that something useful came out of that travesty, but I highly doubt it. All that went on was suffering...just suffering. I hope everyone else had better luck there than I did, because as it stands, I'm under the idea that this entire carnival was just another trap to catch everyone in.

7133 Brooks )

● Action ; Around town

[He was still hobbling along on his one good leg. It seemed like the other had been fixed up with a better splint and there was a much more suitable crutch by his side. Despite his predicament, Latvia seems awfully happy. His cheeks are tinted a little red and you can smell alcohol on his breath but it doesn't seem like it's inhibiting him in anyway and he shuffles along making smalltalk with anyone who cares to listen]

Good morning! The weather's lovely today. But then it's lovely every day here, isn't it? Don't you miss bad weather?

● Action ; Various ; Locked to those he interacted with during the event

[No point in keeping it all to himself. The only reason he came out at all today was to make sure everyone got home safely, no matter how unsafely they left. Despite his prior cheerfulness he's now considerably more nervous, fidgeting and shivering a little. As he rings the doorbell he takes a deep breath and prepares himself for the worst]

Hey...

[He pulls out one of the bottles from his bag]

I thought you might need this, after everything...

Deviņi ● Action
● Action ; Morning June 23rd ; 7133 Brooks Lane

[Today Latvia does his best to prepare for the evening. While he normally likes to take things easy and pass the work off to someone else, right now he seems very adamant about doing the work himself. During the day you can find him at his house in Brooks Lane, decorating the lower half of the building with all manner of branches and leaves. Rowan, Oak, Holly… He would decorate the upper section of the house too but he doesn’t trust the ladder he found and if anything were to happen to him before the evening, that would be pretty disastrous]

● Action ; Evening June 23rd ; Make-out point

[If you come up to make-out point tonight you’ll find a small bonfire roaring away. Nearby there are bottles of beer and cheese laid out, although it seems that a lot of space has been left for people to bring their own food. In the middle of it all stands Latvia, wearing what appears to be some kind of folk costume. A black had with a coloured band, a long grey coat and trousers that are tucked into his socks, a brown waistcoat and finished off with a bright red ribbon tied around his neck]

Labvakar! Laipni lūdzam!

● Action ; June 24th ; Around town

[A little light headed and a little unsteady on his feet Latvia makes his way home after the night. Only wearing his trousers and his shoes, the rest of his clothes are carried under his arm. Even though he looks a little burnt out he seems happy nonetheless]

[Kaylee has her grocery cart rather... stocked up. Corn meal. Sugar. Water. Yeast. Malt.]

[Action: Hardware Store]

[Kaylee knows exactly what she needs. The trick is... getting it. If you happen to be male and thus actually allowed to buy things, she'll approach]

Could I get a hand for a sec?

[Action: Garage of 7132 Brooks]

[Kaylee is, as usual, tinkering away in the garage. Today her contraption involves quite a bit of tubing.]

13th Adventure
[Action A - Household, 7135 Brooks: Your kitchen is a total wreck today. Hurricane Aurora has passed though in an attempt to bake. There's flour everywhere, ingredients scattered, pots and pans overflowing the sink. The master baker herself is hovering (literally!) in the kitchen, looking over a recipe book. Her hair is tied up high on her head (as best as it could be), her apron has more flour on it than is probably used in recipes, and she's deep in thought as she mutters what she's reading aloud. ]

Let's see... oh no, did I add a tablespoon of the salt, or sugar?

[Being a ghost cook is suffering.]

--

[Action B: Brooks Street Out in front of their house, Aurora has set up a lovely little bake sale stand! It's decorated with colorful signs and flowers and streamers, and Aurora herself is all cleaned up and perfectly dressed. But the baked goods... Well, maybe they don't look as nice, but Aurora looks very excited for people to try them.

Here's the thing. Sometimes she got the recipe right. Sometimes she didn't. Maybe you got a good brownie or cookie, or maybe you didn't. Try at your own risk!]

--

[Action C - 1648 Albright Lane: There's a knock at the door! It's Aurora, looking a bit anxious and worried. She's carrying a small container of cookies, and she's looking to speak with Abel. Privately.]

[Action; 7137 Brooks; locked to housemates (backdated to before zombies)]
[ There's a package waiting for her when she gets down. She opens it, to find some of her clothes from home in it. She picks it up, and gives it a fond smile. ]

Ooh, isn't that nice!

[Phone; filtered to Yuna]
Akashi-san? Are you alright? I wanted to apologize about the other day, on your birthday. I don't know what it was or why, but I was acting sort of weird, wasn't I? I know I want to make up for it though.

[Grocery store; open to anyone]
[ Yachiyo is out shopping today. Fridge needs more food, planning on bakin things, she needs to think over what happened a few days ago... she's wearing the clothes she got back not long ago. Looking around the store at the different groceries, to find what she needs. She's looking quite thoughtful at times, especially when looking at anything you might need for a cake. ]

I wonder if she's got any allergies..?

[ Yes, because talking to yourself is clearly what any sane person does. ]

[Bakery; open to all]
[ She's planning on baking a cake, but talking to the people at the bakery isn't wrong. You need to look at all your options, don't you? And she needs to buy bread anyway, so why not. ]

19th Dress
[Action; 7135 Brooks; outside]

[There's a bit of a belated package arriving today for Rarity.  Of course, never having gotten back anything terribly debilitating or depressing yet, she gently unwraps it right away to see what's inside.  A small photograph of her live-in dress shop in Ponyville, Carousel Boutique, floats up out of the package propelled by her magic before disappearing in a flash.  At the same time, behind Rarity, there is now a large circus tent top situated on top of the Kadoya household, forming a new top floor to the structure.  Surprised, she whirls around and silently regards the new addition to the house for a moment before breaking into a smile.]

My goodness, what a generous offering!  I wonder what I did to deserve something like this!

[Action; 7135 Brooks; inside]

[Housemates will notice Rarity busybodying around the house all day long, moving things from the small spare bedroom she's been afforded to sleep and work in up until now and floating them upstairs to the house's new third story.  There's much more space up there, after all, and it's much closer to the sort of lodgings she's used to.  She'll be in and out and back and forth all day, periodically leaving the house to come back with curtains and small pieces of furniture and all sorts of things.]

Oh, so much to do!  Busy busy busy!
