[ It’s the first time Rui has gotten mail from the town. Her ‘family’ has told her about regains, of course, and when she opens the two boxes she isn’t expecting them to be empty. Both of them. Completely empty. What the hell.

She turns on her heel and walks right into the house, slamming the door shut. ]

Hey, Yukihina! Are you the one who sent me empty boxes?

[ She’s walking into the bar (no surprise there, really, as she is kind of an alcoholic), dressed in Yukihina’s clothes as usual. She sits down at the bar, looking quite annoyed and quite an intimidating aura is radiating off of her. Whoever is working at the moment receives an annoyed look. ]

Give me something strong. And make sure it doesn’t taste bad.

[ If she gets bad booze now, whoever made it will be getting a taste of her forehead. Or fist. Whichever works best at the moment. ]

[Grocery store]
[ She might as well buy some food while she’s at it. She knows Yukihina won’t buy any (he doesn’t even have to eat after all), and someone needs to feed her daughters. She’s not going to go out of her way to be mean to them. Besides, even if her long-time friend doesn’t need to eat, she does. Not everyone’s an undead.

Everything that goes into the cart is things that will turn into healthy and good food for her family. All the unhealthy food in the store makes her frown. It’s insane how people can eat some of that food at all.

She makes a face at an extra unhealthy-looking package of what some people call food. ] Someone needs to teach the people in this store to get rid of this stuff...

Why would they send an empty package? If there’s going to be something non-physical in it, least they could do is put some hint to what’s there. Do they think they're funny?

Pretty sure they do. ze. I'm gonna guess you got back a power or something like that, so try doing stuff that would need your powers and figure out what you got back.

I tried using my powers already, but nothing happened. So they might just be pulling my leg.

Or someone stole it, ze. Was the package sealed?

Hmm... Maybe it was some memories you'd lost.

Yes, it was, so I don't think that's it either.

[ She has to think about the memory-thing for a while though. ] I don't know...I don't think I've forgotten something that I suddenly remember, but maybe they made it so I wouldn't notice.

That's the tricky thing about memories, ze. You never know when they're missing if the magic that took them away was done right. So when they're returned, they feel like they were always there, so you still didn't notice.

It's other people who notice.

I know of people who can alter memories flawlessly, so yeah, I've seen how hard it can be to notice when your mind's been tampered with.

Yeah. I'm sure Yukihina would notice if I suddenly forgot something important. I've known him long enough.

[ Yukihina, who had just been taking out the trash, look out the window and shrug, then heads for the mailbox. ]

[ She folds the boxes flat, and puts them on the kitchen table to throw out later. ]

Is this supposed to be some sort of prank, or what?

[ He glances at her, opening the door and when he come back, he has packages, too. One bigger and one smaller. ]

No.

[ Rui goes over to the fridge, pulling out a bottle of whiskey. She pulls off the cork and drinks right out of it. ]

Then what. [ A thought runs through her head, and she tries to use her powers. Nothing happens. ] Well, they obviously didn't send my power.

[ Yukihina place the smaller package on the table, and opens the bigger one. He shrugs- ]

Might be some other invisible thing.

[ He smirks at a thought, and then blinks down at the contents of the box. ]

That's good.

[ Clothes. Not his most recently used clothes, but he really liked these clothes. Not giving it a second thought, he pulls off the shirt that he's wearing. ]

[ Rui looks at him, raising an eyebrow at the smirk. ]

What're you looking so smug about?

[ Rui is taking a swig out of the bottle when Yukihina starts to strip, and she chokes on the whiskey. ]

Why the hell are you doing that here?!

[ She turns away before he can undress any further. ]

[ Still smug, Yukihina give a small, amused huff. ]

Take a guess.

[ He glance up at her as he starts to unbuttoning his pants. ]

I can't?

[ He doesn't care about her reaction, simply kicking off the pants and picking up his own from the bundle. ]

[ You are so rude, Yukihina. ]

What.

[ She is so not amused by you right now. Expect a headbutt once you're done getting dressed. ]

At least warn me before you decide to get naked in the kitchen, idiot.

[ Oh yeah, he's outright smirking right now. ]

I'm not naked, Rui. Besides, [ Heh. ] I've seen you naked, too. Really naked.

[ She sputters, and coughs on her drink. ]

[ She's starting to blush now. ]

[ The red rise on her cheeks, spreading to her ears. ]

[He snort in amusement, finally starting to pull on his own pants as he sweeped his shoes to the floor with his hand. ]

And Kouji did, too.

[ That's true. But that was a long time ago! Do Yukihina really have to bring that up now? ]

Yuki...shut. up.

[ That's in for Rui. She turns around, grabs Yukihina by the shoulders and smacks their foreheads together. Hard. ]

[ He stares; well, she didn't hit hard enough for him to bleed, but she has a red spot on her forehead. ]

I'm just stating facts.

[ The lingering thumping in his forehead vanishes a second after she slammed their heads together, and he finishes buttoning up his pants. ]

[ Rui couldn't care less about the state of her forehead. She was too busy trying not to bust a hole in the wall with said forehead. Actually, she is doing rather well. Surprisingly. ]

[ She grumbles, then takes a big gulp of the whiskey. Seriously, Yukihina.. ]

[ He pull his hoodie over his head, and then pick up the other package. ]

[ When he open it, he tilt his head a little to the side, raising an eyebrow at the content. ]

[ She'd say something about him not having any common sense, but that would be quite pointless. Yukihina has been himself for so long, it'd be a shock to see him change now.

Instead, when she hears him open the second package, she looks over. ]

[ Did this mean that his car was around here somewhere, too? But looking out the window, he couldn't see it anywhere in the garden.. ]

[ Her mind goes in the same direction, and she looks outside as well, but like her friend, she sees nothing. ]

Are they giving back the car later on?

[ If they can send empty packages, they might as well send things belonging together separately. ]

Don't know that yet.

[ Couldn't they give back Kouji instead? Even if it was in Lost form; then he'd be their pet or something, but it would be the three of them again, and he'd like that. ]

[ He drops the keys into his pants pocket, and go over to the fridge. ]

Beer?

[ He's picked out a bottle, and is looking at her. ]
