[The house is surprisingly quiet, without the hum of Galleon engines overhead. But why would there be that? This is the house of the Marvelous family! Your average down-on-their-luck family; father working hard at the barely-paying job. See him now? He's picking up the paper as breakfast is getting ready. Anyone inside, or on the streets can come up and say hi.]

[Action B: L'Déplaisant]

[Marvelous is working hard for once, getting food out to the lunch/supper crowd, his head beginning to twinge in between tables. But he'll still have a smile on his face as you call him over.]

[Action C: Phone]

[Marvelous will be in agony by this point, having found a certain large piece of cardboard in his front closet, along with that strange red coat. He needs someone to talk to about it: anyone he can.]

H-hey....any of you...know what's going on?

[It doesn't seem like much, but Ako's been fighting the memories as soon as she gotten up. Memories of her mother and father were too precious to forget, and as such she had a splitting headache.]

Mornin'. [Muscling past the Ambrosia drone, she went straight for the juice and some asprin to clear her head.]

Morning.

[Marvelous'll turn back towards the interior of the house.]

Now now...no need to rush. Your mother says breakfast won't be ready for a while.

[Ako raised an eyebrow at that, but found herself the asprin.] I just need something to clear my head first.

[Marvelous'll close the door, and toss the paper on the table.]

Rough night I take it?

Headache since I got up. Feels like my mind's cramped today, weirdly enough.

Well that's no good. School doesn't go well for good little girls that can't think straight.

No it doesn't. Maybe I should stay home today. I'm going to be dealing with this for a while, I can bet.

Is it really that bad? Maybe I should take you to the hospital to make sure?

[He'll get up to look for his keys. His worry does sound pretty apparent.]

[What's THIS key next to his car keys? It has a little man folded up on the bottom of it.]

Something wrong? You're staring at one of your Ranger Keys.

Ranger...keys?

[And with that prod...the headache starts.]

Yeah, Ranger Keys. [Ogod there's more headache.]

[Achingly, he'll shut the key, revealing GokaiRed's figure.]

Where did these...urgh!

[With that jolt of pain, it'll fall to the ground.]

You okay there? [She went to pick it up.]

I...think your headache's contagious. It'll be safer to just call...

All right. Sounds good then.

Y-yeah.

[He'll stumble towards the window. Maybe some air will help.]

H-hey where's my ship?

[Wait...]

Ship? What ship?

Ship? [She goes over and looks into the sky, frowning.] You okay? You're contradicting yourself... And yeah it's not here...

I'm a bit...confused. That's all. I need some breakfast.

[Leaving the window open, he'll make his way to the table again.]

... [Silently, she went and joined him. There was something going on, but ow, not having fun here.]

[No fun at all. And the meal...]

Nnngghh. I forgot that she can't cook....

You don't remember that this is the reason why I cook everything?

Sorta. It's fuzzy.

[And his brain throbs again.]

Oogh... [And now her head is starting to pound even more fiercely.] I think I need to lay down...

I think I might join ya in that. Thanks for the meal.

No problem. [And she'll stumble back up the stairs for bed.]

[Unlike Marvelous, Hajime's been hit hard by a full-on droning. No headaches, just constant drone-level cheerfulness...which should really alarm anyone under normal circumstnaces, given that this is Hajime.

He's on his lunch break from a hard day's work, and he's decided to splurge a bit at a nicer restaurant than the diner he usually goes to. He'll flag Marvelous over with a smile. At least he'll make a little small talk to his friend before trying to place an order.]

Afternoon! Day going alright so far?

The occasional headache, but things otherwise are fine. What can I getcha? There's lots of great meals today. Though...I really wish they'd get cuts from your market.

[He'll set Hajime a menu.]

Hey, if you did, I'd be happy to deliver in the mornings. Could guarantee you guys the best of it, too.

[Yeah, his drone brain is busy thinking up ways to get a promotion at his own job. The horror. He's looking at that menu now.]

How's the special look today?

Like dog meat.

[Huh? What!? Headache spike!]

Erm...I mean....not to appetizing. The cook's having a bad day. You might want to go with something that has more taste than presentation.

I guess it's "special" for a reason, huh?

Say, maybe you've been working too hard. You doing anything this Saturday? I was thinking of getting the wife out of the house and getting some of the boys together for a game of poker.

[Nope, nothing's broken through the droning yet...even if he's still got quite the affinity for playing cards.]

How's the chicken sandwich?

I suppose, yeah.

[And the aching will subside as he goes back to 'normal.]

Sounds like a good plan to me. It'll be good to get out and relax.

I'd go with it. The short-order guy is in a much better mood. And maybe a salad as the side?

Yeah, everyone's been working pretty hard lately. A little fun couldn't hurt. I mean, we're all living in the greatest town on Earth, why do we need to be stressed out?

[He'll set the menu down now and give Marvelous a cheerful nod.]

[Bad Marvelous. Stay in line.]

Ahem...I'll get your order back there right away.

Maybe you should see someone about that headache.

[That's about all Hajime's droned brain can see wrong with the situation, sadly. He'll just give Marvelous another smile.]

I'm sure you'll manage. We've all got days like that--just have to take a couple of aspirin, buckle down, and get through it. It's the American way!
