06 - Welcome Home, Honey
[919 Bilko, Morning - Limited to Housemates]

[Another beautiful Mayfield morning dawns, but all is not well in the Goodman household. That pleasant drone wife has been replaced with someone far stiffer, deader, and somewhat mildewed-smelling. That alone might be bad enough. But she had been quite silent while things were dark. Now that there's sun, there's screaming.

As soon as the first sufficiently brilliant rays of light come pouring into the room, Natalie bursts from her spot on the bed with an inhuman shriek. She tears the blankets off the bed and wraps them around herself, but it's not nearly enough protection against the light. She can't see, with all of the brightness and all of the fabric covering her... it's making her efforts to find some sort of cover far too slow. A hand has crept out from the covers, and it's fumbling at the doorknob for the closet... it's also sizzling.]

[Around Town, Evening]

[It's a warm late-summer evening. A perfect time for light blouses and short sleeves. To hell with that, tonight. Not after the kind of morning Natalie had been through. Every inch of her is covered by clothing. Long sleeves cover her arms. Gloves cover her fingers. Her usual scarf is wrapped very, very high along her face. And her hair is even pulled forward to obscure her face even further, with just a slit left to allow for vision.

Really, the malfunctioning drones are a mercy, tonight. She needs blood, and lots of it, if she's going to be presentable anytime soon. Were you being annoyed by a particularly persistent drone asking the time or wishing you a good evening?]

...oh. Here. Let me take care of that...

[And she'll just be grabbing them, exposing their neck, and sinking her fangs in. Masquerade, shmasquerade. What was there to cover up, here? She was doing everyone a favor, honestly.]

Latest intro ever
[//Action for Housemates at 1670 Nelson Street]

[It isn't exactly unusual for Senri to be a little unsure of his surroundings when he wakes up. His mind isn't really good at holding on to details like the events of the previous day. At least not without reminders. That's what his book is for.
And, as this is actually his second trip to Mayfield, the town has seen fit to allow him to keep the things he had regained during his previous stay. The book included. So instead of panicking, he flips through his book, checks his reminders, and looks around. ]

Mayfield.....

[Yes, this is Mayfield, but... Something seems different. Is this the house he was in before? Well, he's in the pictures so... it must be. He spends a little while poking around the house, confused to find the previous drone woman gone and the drone children too. That's .... somewhat disappointing actually. She had been nice. Odd, but nice. He wonders if there's a reason for the change. He's also wondering if he should be leaving now? Wasn't there a place he'd been told to go to every day? Maybe Cooro would know. He'd been around the last time this happened....]

[//Action for whoever]

[Later on, Senri has finally pieced together that school was the place he was supposed to go. Except not. Because the school year hasn't started yet. But it's not like he knows that. So he's just standing outside the school building, looking confused. The building does seem vaguely familiar, but he just isn't sure....]

Operation 3 - Town in need of a checkup
[Fran is nonplussed as ever by all the oddness going on, opting to instead approach it as a good scientist should. Fran has not yet regained her usual appearance so she still looks like a normal 16 year old girl.]

A) Action - Fran can be seen walking around, taking notes as she observes the drones' odd behavior. She might be standing and listening as one babbles on, perhaps prodding it to see if there is any physical reaction, or you may spot her following one of the ones busy walking backwards or bumping into walls.

B) Action - Oops, Fran wasn't looking where she was going and now she's stuck halfway through a tree or a door. She doesn't look panicked, but more cutely distressed.

"Ahh~ Can someone help me?"

C) Phone - To Doctors Solus, Brown, Banner and Doofenshmirtz, as well as any other scientists and medical professionals here~ What do you make of what's happening with the drones?

Phone | Morning:

Hey, to all of you people out there who've been here for a while and are willing to help a girl out. Can I ask you a few questions?

Action | John Doe Park | Midday:

[ Since her house is fifty percent drones, the glitching started getting really creepy really quick. Therefore, she packed up her laptop and hauled her butt to the park. Surprise, she's spending a day outside of the church! She finds herself a secluded bench, as far away from other people and any noise as she can get. Then she proceeds to listen to something on her laptop over and over again. It's a recording of the radio, and she's attempting to make out the murmuring voices.

With little success, though. ]

Ugh. If Budge were here, he'd be able to clean these up in a snap. Can't believe I'm saying it, but he would be really useful right now.

[ More grumbling continues as she starts the recording over. ]

Have you thought of a name yet?

[action; all around]

[He doesn't trust the phone right now. So after his call to Tohsaka, Minato leaves to meet up with his comrades.

Traveling the terrain, with Mayfield as it is now, is quite an experience. Tartarus was strange too, but that tower at least had the safety of consistant solidness. Here, Minato's perception threatens to become disoriented as he wanders the streets, uncertain if even the ground could disappear and swallow him up. Even stranger were the citizens, who were acting well....glitched. Having spent so long here, Minato knows that when the citizens themselves were acting peculiar, that it was time to get a move on.

That said, walking through walls sure is convenient.]
