Twenty-First File.
[ Action: Mayfield High ]

[ Having her library back was not a walk in the park. Trying to quell her headaches in a way that she was used to was not helping manners any. Unfortunately, she has to attend her classes today to avoid being droned. Needless to say, she is not happy and it shows with how grumpy she seems to be.

To add on to her already soured mood, it seems like the drones want to pick a bone with her, too. ]

Neeerd! Hey, you're a nerd!

[ Diana merely sighs, shaking her head. Just walk away, self. Just walk away.

The drone decides to place his hand on her shoulder and backs her up to the lockers. This causes her books and other supplies to fall to the ground, which includes the blank book for her library. She knows she can't let that book fall into the wrong hands, but dammit - she is tired of being pushed around by the drones. ]

I'll only ask you once: Please leave me alone.

[ The drone laughs in her face and leans in close. ] Only if you promise to go out on a date with me.

[ Logic fail much? Seeing as she's not in the mood for this, she glares and shoves the drone away from her. And so, when she does, she instantly goes to pick up her supplies and moves on. The drone doesn't look so pleased, though, so he's chasing after her while shouting names at her. When it seems that she's lost the drone, she slides down one of the walls with her head in her hands. Why won't her head stop hurting already? It's not like she's actively looking up information as freely as she was before... ]

[ Action: Grocery Store ]

[ After school, Diana's in the pharmaceutical section to search for a powerful enough pain killer. She's reading the backs of boxes to try to figure out what would work, if only for temporary relief. ]

You'd think they'd make this clearer...

[ Phone | Filtered FROM Drones. Filtered TO Close CR. ]

...If anyone heard me screaming around a week ago, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to cause a scene or worry. If... I can make it up, please let me know.

At the Park
[Will has been laying low since the surgeries. While he didn't have one himself there was plenty going on to mess with his head. It didn't help that the item he received from the post office a week later was such an important reminder of his home. He's sitting on a park bench thumbing through a rather large looking book. It's leather bound with a red cover and gold lettering. The pages seem to be filled with more photos than words. As he flips through you can see a range of emotions play across his face. Happiness, sadness, sometimes a little chuckle to himself. What could possibly be in that book?!]

[Mayfield high]

a.
[ Sion is wearing her trademark purple uniform now thanks to getting it back awhile ago. Though she's not wearing the hat right now because she doesn't want to get yelled at and or draw unneeded attention to her self during class. ]

b.
[ It's lunch time and well classes have been boring, well not boring just extremely easy. So Sion is trying to get out during break and head back home, seeing as she'll be far better off in the lab doing research instead of trapped inside the school learning math problems she could do in her sleep. ]

[ Around town / the park ]

c.
[ After walking out of the school Sion decided to head to the park to where she normally was when ever she needed to think. It was just going to be a quick stop, only a half hour at the most but she had a few things on her mind. It was more of a “why haven't I gotten anything done lately” type of thought seeing as she had been completely useless in the last few major happenings in the town. ]

[action 1, park]
[It's time for the Battle Memory to be put to good use. Morosely examining it didn't do much to improve his fighting technique; Lucas can be found in the park with the book open, projecting a psychic imprint of the Pig King's Statue. He's going by the theory that he'll improve faster facing off against the toughest enemy he's ever fought - apart from the Ultimate Chimera, anyway.

The last time he had attempted to practice fighting, he'd decimated both his training dummy and scrambled the minds of half the people who had wandered by.  Hopefully, an isolated corner of the park wouldn't draw as much attention.  And the trees would block the view if he let loose a PK Flash.  Lucas picks a stick up off the ground and hefts it a few times.]

Let's see... Mr. Statue, I don't have any New Year's Bombs with me.  Please take it easy, OK?

[The statue does not give a reply apart from swinging forth with its rocky scepter.  Lucas jumps out of the way... then flips in midair to jump again, releasing a PSI shockwave through his outstretched feet.  The fight was on.

Join in?]

[action 2, school]
[It's hard to do well in school when you never went to one before Mayfield.  Over the course of two years, Lucas has successfully managed to grasp the basics of history, English, and some general biology.  Mathematics, though...  During his lunch hour, he generally retreats to the school library with a pile of books and a worried expression on his face.  Gosh, he must be studying hard.

Further examination will reveal Lucas holed up, hiding behind some shelves, staring intently at Advanced Concepts in Algebraic Formulations.  ...More focused examination will reveal The Hardy Boys or something rather similar not-so-cleverly hidden behind the spine of the much larger textbook.  Not so coincidentally, he happens to be sitting with his back to the entire series.  ...At one point, he yells out loud.]

Oh, no!   Don't leave him behind!

[...Oops.]

[voice]
Spring is almost here, isn't it?  ...The world always seems a lot more bearable when there's sunshine and singing birds everywhere.  It reminds me... well.  It reminds me of home, a little bit.  Things were always so much more... vibrant.  ...Imaginative.  Even in its last few years.  I've been thinking about it, and I don't really know much about anyone else's worlds; not even my closest friends'.  Things like... dinosaurs and Mr. Saturns and walking bushes were pretty normal in the Islands, but when I bring them up, everyone always seems surprised.  It would be nice to hear about interesting things from other people.  Things you might not find here.

[His tone, soft and capricious before, takes on a heavier note.]

Anyway...  I guess it reminds me of something else, too.  ...Miss Taiwan's gone, isn't she?  I couldn't find her camera the other day, and when I saw her next, she was droned.

...I wish she had had a chance to start her restaurant.

[on the hill; afternoon; action - backdated to yesterday]

[The first living being that you will see is a sheep. It will approach you if you climb the hill and get to the spot on the top that looks over Mayfield. If you are very observant, you might see someone wearing a green shirt sit leaned against a tree looking into the opposite direction, but the sheep will not let you pass just like that. It won't get agressive unless you are, but it definitely thinks that there is food somewhere on your person, and the food obviously needs to be eaten by a sheep. No matter if there is any actual food or not.]

[phone A]

[Kiwi's voice sounds very muted and almost hopeless. The nation has been keeping away from other people, drones and not-drones alike, for a couple of days, so if you know Kiwi, you might have noticed that something is wrong. Everything is wrong. Australia left, and there... there just is no option for there not being an idiotic neighbour around. That has never happened and will never happen. The nation knows that going over and checking on everyone should be something that wouldn't have to be done through the phone, but-]
...Is Canada still here?

[A pause]

..........Anyone from the Commonwealth?

[at the secondary school; noon; action - forwarddated to tomorrow]

[Kiwi can be seen inspecting the sports facilities. Sometimes the brunet stops to address people to ask them questions about the surroundings, or maybe other things... Kiwi might be approaching YOU right now.

While still a bit subdued, NZ definitely looks a lot better now than yesterday. Which is not perfect, but... who knows how much of it is real?]

Hey, sorry, do you have a moment?

T R E S + alea iacta est
[Action - mid-afternoon - Ricardo Street

Denizens of 506 Ricardo, you might see an odd sight this afternoon: a vertically-challenged egotist scaling the walls of your house, a megaphone tucked under her arm.

...wait, what?

Yeah no you saw correctly! She's absolutely just impudently scrambling up onto the roof, not even giving a shit that this isn't her house. Why doesn't she just do this at her own house? Damned kids and their horseplay.

Once settled onto the roof, Saber faces the house across the street - 505, her own home - and brings the megaphone to her lips.

Just what could be so important that she's shouting about it from a goddamn rooftop?
]

Hakuno Kishinami! There is something I must tell you! Will you listen?

[...oh so she's calling out her derp of a Master, that's cool. Was that it?

...apparently not; she turns towards each end of the street, as she continues.
]

Friends! I would have witnesses on this momentous day!

[Goddamn showboating.........]

[ooc: okay so here's the dilly-yo: saber's going to be pouring her heart out to hakuno, and more or less asking her out (although in much more grave and dramatic terms). she's been trying to do this for a while, but hakuno is DUMB AS A BOX OF ROCKS, so... she's finally decided that the proper way is to literally shout her love from the rooftops. make sure to include who your character is talking to - saber, hakuno, or both - in the subject line!]
