[The first living being that you will see is a sheep. It will approach you if you climb the hill and get to the spot on the top that looks over Mayfield. If you are very observant, you might see someone wearing a green shirt sit leaned against a tree looking into the opposite direction, but the sheep will not let you pass just like that. It won't get agressive unless you are, but it definitely thinks that there is food somewhere on your person, and the food obviously needs to be eaten by a sheep. No matter if there is any actual food or not.]

[Kiwi's voice sounds very muted and almost hopeless. The nation has been keeping away from other people, drones and not-drones alike, for a couple of days, so if you know Kiwi, you might have noticed that something is wrong. Everything is wrong. Australia left, and there... there just is no option for there not being an idiotic neighbour around. That has never happened and will never happen. The nation knows that going over and checking on everyone should be something that wouldn't have to be done through the phone, but-] ...Is Canada still here?

[Kiwi can be seen inspecting the sports facilities. Sometimes the brunet stops to address people to ask them questions about the surroundings, or maybe other things... Kiwi might be approaching YOU right now.

While still a bit subdued, NZ definitely looks a lot better now than yesterday. Which is not perfect, but... who knows how much of it is real?]

[Dave watches a few kids playing a quick game of basketball, clicking his tongue disapprovingly, as if he were judging the manner in which they were performing. He certainly LOOKS like he has a few things he wants to say to them... so why doesn't he just jump into the game? Or at the very least call "next"?

His attention isn't so focused, however, that he doesn't notice someone at his side, requesting his attention.]

Huh? Oh, yeah, 'sup?

Do you know if these [pointing to the fields that can be seen from here] are all the fields that this school has?

[He follows the outstretched hand, walking toward them a few steps and inspecting the area carefully. Dave looks around a bit, a bit of confusion on his face that quickly changes to a more stoic demeanor]

Er, I think so. Sorry, I only just got here a few days ago, and haven't had much time to check things out. Looks like there's plenty of room if you want to get your sports on, though. [Dave gestures to a particularly large patch of grass to one side] I can totally see it over there, two teams getting ready for some sweat-pounding football action, vying for the coveted Best Touchdown Guy Trophy. The super quarterback who wins the game at the last second would be hoisted on his teammate's shoulders, under a chorus of "yeah, he's the star, it's him. he's the best at all the sports." [He looks to the individual, pauses, and raises an eyebrow in realization.] Oh, I mean American football, not the other kind... "footy", I think you call it? Yeah, I don't know too much about that kind so I don't know what awesome trophy you'd win in a footy match. Maybe "Best use of a head to knock a multicolored ball into a net"? That's not bad.

I'm looking for a field for rugby, actually.

[Wow, that was a lot of talking. Kiwi feels a bit overwhelmed - it is like talking to listening to America, just a lot better understandable. Still, the urge to get the conversation back on track stands strong.]

On the hill

[On one of Chell's wanderings, she decides to walk up the hill.

She stops when she sees the sheep. She's a bit puzzled at its presence, she didn't think they lived in town.

There may be a muffin from the bakery in her pocket.]

[The sheep will definitely be going for that muffin! All the muffins belong to sheep!

Nomnomnomming Chell's pants pocket. Maybe pocket and muffin can be eaten together.]

[Chell does her best to shove the sheep off, but once it nearly eats her pocket, she sighs and maneuvers around the hungry sheep to pull out the muffin.

She thinks for a minute and breaks it in half, holding out one of the halves to the sheep.]

Good move. Sheep would eat her pants if necessary.

[The sheep will eat it out of her hand quickly and efficiently but still about as graceful as a sheep can, and then push her head against the human's arm when she is done.]

And Chell rather likes her pants, thank you very much. XD

[Chell can't resist a small smile and she gently pets the sheep's head in return.

She hasn't been around animals much, save for the one bird she encountered in the facility. They're much nicer than cold robots bent on murdering you.]

[It's a sheep... Lucas beams as it approaches and holds out a hand. Having kept sheep for most of his life, he was fond of them.]

Oh... Good afternoon! You're not from Mayfield, are you?

[The sheep looks at him for a very long moment and then pretty much runs into him. This is supposed to be a friendly greeting and do-you-have-something-delicious in one.]

[Lucas takes the bump good-naturedly and pats the sheep gently.]

You know, I think I remember running into someone else with a sheep before. I'll have to see if that one is still around...

[Sheep is definitely not used to be understood by people other than the other pets, but this is nice.]

[Barton's at the school gym, practicing with a kick ball. She's hitting it off the wall with vicious power, and chasing after it with frightening accuracy. She does have to stop to catch her breath, though, so NZ is free to approach her then.]

I wanted to ask something different originally, but do you do any kind of sports?

Sports? If ya count this... [She holds up the kickball.] Sometimes I play basketball though. Only started that when I got to Mayfield.
