[748 Partridge Drive]

[Those alarm bells... They could have woken the dead, let alone someone who was a light sleeper. Tieria was up and downstairs in mere seconds, looking outside to see what was going on. He wasn't going to be going back to bed any time soon.]

=====

[Out and About Town]

[He'd investigated the dairy, he was looking around town, everything he could to figure this out. Good thing there wasn't any school on Sundays. But... three days? Missing? He was not a happy camper.]

=====

{OOC: Quick OOC note: I'm possibly going to be hiatus'd for a few days, so replies may be sporadic or non-existant until Wed. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I wanted Tieria to react to the event before it was too far backdated. ^_^;}

♎ S33R: R34D TH3 HOROSCOP3S
( phone )

It's Terezi and my auricular sponge clots are still frothing teal from all of those alarms, and I guess everyone is still in a big panic about it but I just wanted to let everyone know that Dave Strider- hard cherry candy red Dave, not delicious orange creamsicle Dave- is gone. Back to... to our universe, I guess, and I mean, I just-...

[Terezi actually sounds pretty miserable about it. ]

I bet he will be back soon. I mean, that's just like a coolkid, to get himself panscrubbed ironically. He will be back in a few days, won't he, I just know it, he's going to swagger on in and be like 'Hey, TZ, hey, everything's totally cool and I was just seeing what it was like to be a drone for a while.' Yeah, that's what's going to happen. Blargh. I think I am going to give him a good hard drubbing the moment he snaps out of it. He's leaving me hanging and-

[Her voice shrinks.] ...Anyway, um. That's all.

Oh, except, by the way, can I ask if there are any people out there who were born between the human calendar dates of... September 24th to October 23rd? [She sounds a little bit hopeful, curious.] Let me know!

( filtered to castmates but easily broken )

I discovered this thing! [She seems to perk up a little bit, although she still sounds a bit tired. There's some rustling on her end of the line.] It's called 'the zodiac'! Humans have this wheel of 12 signs based on the stars in the sky and the way they're laid out and... There's a machine that dispenses something called a 'horoscope'. That's how I figured it out. I don't know how we didn't ever learn about this sooner!

[She gives a huff.] I'm going too fast, but it's pretty exciting! They're our signs, if you haven't figured that out yet. All 12- they're ours. And they're all based on real star patterns. We really did have an influence on this universe. Apparently all humans born on this planet fall under one of our signs. Amazing, isn't it!

The machine's at the comic shop. But I found a book on the zodiac, too! Here, for example, I'm going to read about my sign. It's called 'Libra'. [She pauses for a moment to lick the paper.] 'Diplomatic and urbane, romantic and charming'- hahaha- 'Easygoing and sociable, idealistic and peaceable'... They're all qualities that are supposed to represent our signs, I think! Naturally I am incredibly sociable and romantic and diplomatic and peaceable so this is all one hundred percent absolutely undeniably true.

But the coolest part is, [she takes a breath-] the coolest part is that my sign represents the scales. Equality and justice. And the rest of the signs, are, um, well, you'll see! I think it's all kind of amazing. You should go to the comic shop if you want to see! It's just... I guess even here, it's kind of encouraging to know that we had an impact on things. Somehow.

( action; the comic shop )

[Terezi, dressed in tribute to a certain coolkid, is standing before a rusty machine mounted to the wall. It has a number of different options on it, and after inserting $0.05, it dispenses small tubes of paper containing horoscope information. Terezi is basically choking the thing with nickels and stuffing a bunch in her pockets. She has a lot of Libras and Cancers. Once she amasses enough, she sits down on the curb of the sidewalk and begins sketching on the ground in chalk.]

37 Δ INSERT WITTY PUN HERE

[Action A (MORNING): 1335 Benny Road]

[ Even though it's well known that Rin doesn't live here, someone else ([personal profile] riastrad_ridire) she's quite familiar with does, so it should come as no surprise that he carries her through the door shortly after three in the morning. A few hours later and she can be found patrolling around the house, inspecting it as close as she can with as little sleep as she holds. It might be difficult to tell what she's doing since she's looking at a variety of things - the roof, the windows, and a few rocks on the ground. ]

[Phone (NOON): No filters]

Geez, I wonder if this town is out to get me or something. I set up this really mean joke to play on Lancer about his birthday and then the town not only decides to make me miss it, it makes me miss my entire weekend. So not only did I not get any sleep due to the stupid sirens blaring off, I had to deal with the idiots from school on top of it. [ Following it up with a groan. ] Isn't it supposed to be an American holiday today or something?

[ Isn't it sad being "popular" and all, Reen? ]

If anyone finds out who's responsible for any of this, do me a favor, and I'll do you one in return. Let me know who's at fault and I'll beat them black and blue! That's one of the better deals you'll find in this place, so you should follow through with it.

[Action B (AFTERNOON-EVENING): Throughout the town]

[ Watch out those who might be familiar with Rin. She's had no sleep and also has made the decision to check up on all of her close allies. Bundled up for the weather, she'll be visiting door-to-door or if she knows they're the working type? She'll take a moment to swing by their place of employment. Interactions may not go so well since she is running on no sleep. ]

[Action: Outside of 2239 Stevens]

[ What happened? Wasn't he supposed to still be taking tests? The last he remembered doing was seeing someone who looked just like his sister, but...it wasn't. Then...well, he couldn't really remember why but he was in a medical bay of some kind, and now this. Riku quietly makes sure the door clicks shut as he steps out into the unfamiliar place he was now in. He could panic, but what good would that do?

He'll be standing outside, taking a break from tidying up a little. Forgive him since his clothes are a bit dirty and he hasn't had a chance to clean up yet. If you're passing by, feel free to him give a passing wave.
]

Whew, that's better. I guess this is harder than it looks. At least I can finally sleep again, I haven't really done that in a while...

[Action: In Town]

[What fun is it to just sit around inside all day? Even if the place was foreign, standing in one place wouldn't do anything. Riku's going to do a little exploring around mayfield, but stop him if you want.]

[Public]

Right, so based on our arbitrary jump forward in time and the completely inconspicuous emergency alarm system, I have a hunch, call it a guess, that we're going to get fucked over soon. So I think this would be as good a time as any to remind all of you that I've been keeping a list of houses where you can go to preferably not die.

It goes without saying, but some shitpans have apparently felt clever in pointing this out, that this plan won't fucking work if all the houses in Mayfield disappear! But we don't know what will happen, so maybe you should pick up one of them, I don't make them for my own health, assholes.

They're in the communication compartment outside 1338 Benny Road once again. If you have any corrections to be made or want to be added, let me know.

[The following list will be in his mailbox, with copies to spare for anyone who wants one.]

[Filtered from Trolls]

Also, were any of you human wigglers born between the 20th of June the 22nd of July? It isn't important, I'm just curious.

[Action; 1338 Benny Road]

[So after finding out about his zodiac sign, Karkat will come home in an awful mood, slamming doors until he gets up to his bedroom. So yeah, Tuesday, but he's in an even worse mood than usual today.]

Third Key: A long-awaited gift
[Action: Inside House]

[Marvelous balanced the small package in his hands. He frowned at it as he examined every inch. It was like the box that his clothing had come in, but this one he really had no clue. He sets it on the living room table.]

Only one way to find out....

[He slowly peels the packaging apart, and peering inside, just in case something inside is insidious in nature. But, a familiar glint inside makes him plunge his hand inside. He pulls out the small red figurine inside, and then the larger phone-shaped object underneath.]

Looks like this Christmas thing was good for something.

[Action: Downtown]

[Marvelous is roaming the streets, flicking his Ranger key open and closed. If this is here, then the rest should be somewhere else. Come bug him if you wish.]

[Phone ❖ Forward dated to Monday ❖ Filtered to the countries]
[Sometime after the alarms stop Belgium picks up the phone. Her cheeriness is a nice break from the all the confusion, worry, and hero promises everyone else seems to be calling about.]

Um...Hey guys, this is Belgium. I was going to do this earlier, but I ended up getting super busy at work and then losing those couple days didn't help much.

Anyway, even though it's after New Years and Vietnam was supposed to host it December...I was wondering if any of you guys would like to have the end End-of-Year Girls Meeting? I mean there's a ton of us here and Canada and Romana can come too if they want! Though I guess for you guys this would be kinda like a normal world meeting, huh?

Since we're already late I was thinking that we could have it like the 23rd or somewhere around there if that's okay with everyone and the town doesn't blow itself up again. I was also thinking we can either have it at my house or the community center...it all really depends on who's coming.

Oh and one more thing if you guys have made any friends here, they can come too...it would be boring if it were just us. Besides we need to fill the void left by Vietnam, Czech, Belarus, and everyone else that isn't here somehow, right?

((This is the IC signup for the Ridiculously late End-of-Year Girls Meeting. This is the last call for sign ups.))

2 ♕ The Hangover [Phone/Action]
[ A - 849 Goldberg Street ]

[ When the sirens began to ring, the only thing Tsunade could do was wake and dash downstairs. There, she encountered her package. Regains from Christmas. She was hesitant to open them during Christmas, given their lack of marking, but, now, without any clue of what would be inside, she decided it would be best if she could open them. Her first one? A picture of a bunch of paperwork from home. ]

What on Ea-[ BOOM

Within the seconds of Tsunade's statement the house seemingly explodes into paper filled chaos. Stacks and stacks of paperwork begin to torrent around the living room, and the living room door bursts wide open, with paper flying out of there by the forests. If you dare to take a look to see what the hell just happened, you'll get a Tsunade who's sitting down with paper up to her shoulders before her pet pig, Tonton, stark naked and without her expensive pearl necklace, pops out of the paper with a fierce oink! ]

[ B - Phone.  ]

Ah, this is probably the worst hangover I ever had. [ Her voice sounds haggard and raspy. She sounds exhausted and weakened by all accounts. ] I can't even remember the last couple of days. What the hell did I drink....? [ She knows what really happened, but, she wants to synthesize as much information as possible and for that, she has to play dumb ]

[ C - The Post Office ]

[ With the realization that the paperwork had her entire life story and biography in it with the mysteriously missing parts filled in with her journal that has a day by day summary of her life, Tsunade realized it was time to go to the post office. On the way there, you see a very, veryold lady walking into the office. If you're in there, you know what happens. Tsunade finally made a trade and is, within a blink of an eye, transformed to her younger state.

If you're waiting outside out of curiosity, Tsunade emerges
young and not wrinklyas ever. Her loyal pet pig is by her side.  ]

Ah, Tonton, now that that's out of the way, let's get going. Oink!

[ D - Anywhere! ]

[ There is a pig following you. Just a random pig. And no matter how much you try to shake it off, it just won't leave you alone. It'll continue to follow you down many streets, with its nose slammed into the ground like a police canine unit. Yep. She doesn't speak, she doesn't talk, she doesn't do anything but follow. ]

[ E - Olney's Tavern ]

[ Tsunade, with her trusty pet pig in her purse like Paris Hilton and chihuahuas, sits at the bar, wallet ready and eager. ]  All right, bartender, make some magic for me. This damn town took two weeks away from my memory, and, in return, I'd like to forget whatever the hell I've been doing from now until the 27th. One Long Island Iced Tea. By the gallon even, I don't give a damn.

[Forward dated to January 16.]

A. [Action: 852 Goldberg Street, ridiculous o'clock]

[The alarm klaxons jarred Crowley out of a comfortable sleep. The demon sat bolt upright and blinked his yellow snake eyes blearily. It took him a minute to realize that something was off about the room he was in. The shadow of the tree outside wasn't quite right. The wallpaper was different. His "wife" didn't look the same.

His wife didn't look the same.

He jumped out of the bed, blessing under his breath.]

Bollocks.

B. [Action: 852 Goldberg Street, later morning]

[He checked to make sure his Bentley was in the garage. It was. He also found his puppy and all her accessories in exactly the same places they had been in 915 Bilko Boulevard, only in this new house. How strange.

Crowley was dressed in a smart black suit and red shirt that had once been scratchy slacks and a hideous jumper. He was also, of course, wearing his snakeskin shoes and sunglasses. He sat at the kitchen table, drinking a poor excuse for a cup of coffee. He was going to have to go shopping.]

C. [Action: 915 Bilko Boulevard, around noon]

[He can't stop himself for wanting to check on Kyon. He couldn't leave the poor boy alone without at least checking to see if he was alright, right? He drives on over and parks in the driveway. The demon strides into the house as if he lives there. Which he did up until this morning.]

Kyon? Are you in here, kid?

D. [Action: Olney's Tavern, late afternoon]

[Crowley's looking a bit irritable behind the bar. What the hell is with this town?]

What'll you have?

E. [Phone: Locked to Aziraphale]

[Crowley's just a little on edge when he's able to get to the back of the tavern to make his phone call to Aziraphale. He paces as far as the phone cord will let him and he's hissing a bit.]

Pick up. Pickuppickuppickup! Bloody hell Angel, this is not the time to neglect your bloody phone!

[Action: Outside of 461 Stone]

[It's rough, getting used to this human body all of a sudden. Len keeps trying to cue up music files to sing from, only to remember that he doesn't have a hard drive any more. And his singing - the less said about that the better. It's still his same beautiful voice, and talking isn't so hard, but the muscles of his new human throat don't seem to want to cooperate when he sings. It's already a little better than when he first woke up, but he still wants to tear his hair out every time he tries.

At least bananas still taste good!

He manages not to slam the door behind him today (who knew judging his strength in a new body would be so hard), and he's feeling pretty triumphant about that when an old, faded piece of paper blows across his path, with a faint but somehow familiar image on it. Curious, he picks it up...

Thirty seconds later he's tearing it to shreds]

Rin!! H-how could you, when I wasn't even here to defend myself--!!
