[Sometime after the alarms stop Belgium picks up the phone. Her cheeriness is a nice break from the all the confusion, worry, and hero promises everyone else seems to be calling about.]

Um...Hey guys, this is Belgium. I was going to do this earlier, but I ended up getting super busy at work and then losing those couple days didn't help much.

Anyway, even though it's after New Years and Vietnam was supposed to host it December...I was wondering if any of you guys would like to have the end End-of-Year Girls Meeting? I mean there's a ton of us here and Canada and Romana can come too if they want! Though I guess for you guys this would be kinda like a normal world meeting, huh?

Since we're already late I was thinking that we could have it like the 23rd or somewhere around there if that's okay with everyone and the town doesn't blow itself up again. I was also thinking we can either have it at my house or the community center...it all really depends on who's coming.

Oh and one more thing if you guys have made any friends here, they can come too...it would be boring if it were just us. Besides we need to fill the void left by Vietnam, Czech, Belarus, and everyone else that isn't here somehow, right?

Hmm...I know about Ukraine, Monaco, Romana, Canada...ah...there's a couple others too.

Romana and Canada are the only nations who are from over there? Or are any of the girls guys here?

They're the only ones. I mean everyone else seems to be normal and Spain never mentioned anyone else then them being different when I ended up here.

Do you know if there are more ways in which their world is different?

Not really. To tell you the truth I haven't really thought much about it before now.

I should probably ask at one point, Romana seems pretty okay.

I'd love for you to come~. I mean you'll be presently surprised if the meetings where your from are anything like ours.

...meetings are insane most of the time. So loud, and half of them shriek at the top of their lungs, no one listens, nothing gets done... Are your meetings that bad?

Pretty much. After America starts up with his insane idea's to better the world and England and brother France start fighting things start to go down hill from there. Screaming, hollering, more fighting, nothing ever gets done.

But these meetings are a little bit different. We just hang out and talk about girl things.

You do realise that sounds pretty much like the meetings I have to go to... talking about girl things and then fighting.

I... I'll see if Canada is going.

Oh... are you really sure it'd be alright if Romana and I showed? I mean, we're not really the same as you guys, a-and since you're all terribly used to us as males, wouldn't it just be weird to have us around at the girls' meeting?

[Insecurities are go! She really would like to go, but she doesn't want to feel like she's forcing herself on the others. Out of politeness, she assumes Romana would be worried in the same way as well.]

No, no it's fine, really. It'll be interesting to have you guys come show up. And like I said, since there's so few of us here, it would be pretty boring without some replacements.

Replacements... [Canada's not entirely certain how she feels about that word, but after some internal debate, she perks up.]

Well, if you're sure it's alright, and if Romana's going, I'll be there. I'll bring some food, too!

I think I can definitely do that. It's amazing how many exotic ingredients the local grocery store carries!

How much food should I make, by the way? Sometimes I'm never sure how many of us nations are actually here, let alone us girls.

Yep, it's still pretty new though. We've only been doing it for a couple years.
