1st Spare - What Will I Do Without the Internet?
[Action; 5722 Cunningham Lane]

[There's a moment of shock when she wakes up, but realizing there's no immediate danger, the sensation passes. In any case, this is a strange situation.

Examining her room and area, she can't find any of her possessions. Was she kidnapped? This doesn't even seem like Japan though... and at such an important time too.

Oh, well.

In any case, Nico is wandering around the house calmly scoping the place out, though her quick movement belie some of her concern with the situation]

Hello? Anyone here?

[Phone]

[The first thing heard is a rather bored monotone voice of a young girl:]

Ah, oh no, what a frightening witch's barrier I seem to have fallen into.

Just kidding. It's pretty obvious this is something else... so who else is here? I don't really think I'm special enough to warrant kidnapping just me, so are the rest of you girls here? This is certainly an unexpected twist.

...I can't believe I'm using a phone with an actual dial on it.

[Action; Around Town]

[There's a young teenage girl being harassed by a pair of drone boys around her age. The reason? Rather than a dress, she's wearing shorts and a hat that clearly got swiped from some drone boy's closet. While the drones call her a tomboy and childish insults for not dressing like a girl, she just stares off with a bored look on her face.]

...you're really kind of annoying, huh?

Tale 001 - The Boy from Storybrooke.

Page 1 - 754 Partridge Drive

[Henry had been on his way to go see Emma. She had called him to talk about something important. Maybe it was about Operation Cobra. Had to be right? What else would she need to talk to him so urgently about? But on his way he found himself getting rather sleepy before blacking out.

When awakening Henry finds he is not in his own bedroom. It looks pretty old and there isn't as many clocks in it as he has in his old room at home. Moving to the window Henry looks out it only to see there a row on row of identical houses, plus where the heck was the clock tower that he could see.

Henry hears a knock at his door and before he can go to open it a woman walks in smiling ear to ear. She greets him good morning and as she leans down towards him Henry moves around her and goes out the door. She looked like she as going to kiss him.

Question was, where was he? He's only ever been outside of Storybrooke once and he didn't remember getting on a bus and coming to this place, let alone lying in a strange bedroom.  He goes outside his front door only to see a row of more identical houses. Henry frowns looking obviously more than a little upset. Did the Queen figure out what Operation Cobra was and sent him here to keep him out of the way?

All Henry knew is that he wished Emma was with him]

Page 2 - Phone

[Running back inside, Henry goes and grabs the closest phone. Maybe he could dial Emma, maybe he was still in Storybrooke but the Queen just changed everything somehow. After all she's an evil Queen right? Dialing Emma's number he hears someone pick up.]

Emma! It's Henry! Something's happened! I think the Queen has done something to the curse! Look outside if you don't believe me!

Page 3 - Running down the street

[Hanging the phone up, Henry runs outside again down the street in his pajamas, maybe his storybook had the answer to what was going on. He kept it locked up at the sheriff's office and maybe Emma would be there and they could go over it together and find out what was happening.]

☆ Duty 7 - Sweet time passing by
A. Action | 5719 Cunningham Lane

[ It was a new day. Hayate just knew today was going to be a good da--wait. He steps backwards a bit and glances at the calendar. ]

...Has it really been a year already...?

It feels odd to say the least. I've met so many people, yet also lost some along the way. [ he'll heave a sigh remembering Keima and Elsie. ]

I wonder if the mistress is worried about me...

B. Action | School

[ After classes had ended, Hayate decided to go to the Home Economics room. It was there that he baked millions of sweets. He just had to bake something after having being preoccupied by the fact that he was in mayfield for a year now. ]

C. Action | Around Town

[ So after making those tasty treats, and throwing the burnt ones away, Hayate ultimately decides to give them away. ]

...Um, excuse me. Would you like some homemade sweets? ...T-they're on the house just so you know. Eheheh.

Patrick Jane

[First Hat Trick] [Stranger in a Strange Land]
[Master Bedroom of 1764 Beaver St]

[The first thing that Patrick notices is wrong is that he's in a comfortable bed. He doesn't sleep much in beds these days - there's his mattress on the floor of the bedroom of his house. There's the cot up in the attic of the CBI building, and the sofa down in the pen ... but he doesn't wake up in beds.]

[He also doesn't wake up in a twin bed, with the other one occupied by a woman with her hair in curlers.]

[...He decides immediately screaming probably isn't the answer. Besides, it might wake up the strange woman and god knows what sort of crazy she might unleash on him.]

[So, quiet as a mouse, he crawls out of his bed and to the closet to grab some clothes that are -- well, not his but close enough. He forgoes the ties to stick with his normal jacket-vest-pants combination, but keeping his shoes off so he can sneak across the bedroom without awakening the strange brunette.]

[Living Room of 1764]

[He's escaped downstairs, but not before discovering there are two more closed bedroom doors - and the decorator here decided to go with the bad side of the 1950's.]

[He's shoving on clothes when he notices something over the mantlepiece. A portrait. A family portrait.

And he's in it. With the brunette. And two children. He walks up to it and squints, before muttering.]

...What. in the name of. Molly Malloy. Is going on?

[Right. Right. Time to call the police.]

[Phone, open to all]

Hello? Hello? Aaaaah, I'm just trying to be clear here - am I in a real place? I just need to know if I've been kidnapped for nefarious purposes or if I'm just having a mental breakdown? [a pause] Again.

[Out in the Town]

[You might just see a spiffy looking blonde man on the late side of his thirties, just going into his fortieth year, walking around and ... well. Poking things. Poking flowers. Poking sign posts. He's feeling them out to see if they are in fact real or if his mind is playing tricks on him.]

[He's also peering at people very intently when they pass by. He's especially staring hard at the drones, his lips pressing together and his blue eyes going a little harder and more intent.]

[There's something very wrong here, and those people, Patrick has found, are one of the ones that are tickling his Spidey Senses.]

Archer
12 May 2012 @ 10:19 am
imitation/fake 01
[Morning - 768 Bunker Street - Action/Phone]

[Out of one hell, into another. The last memory Archer had was fading away at the end of the Grail War and hearing Rin promise not to let his past self follow the same road he did. He smiled at her and spoke with his old voice, then faded away. It was a nice, hopeful memory. But that was the first thing that was wrong as Archer slowly came into consciousness...he shouldn't have been able to remember that so vividly if he had truly resumed his role.

Shouldn't in a flesh and blood body, either.

Or in a bed.

Or in really, really terrible nightwear.

Archer's good at hiding how he feels about things, so while he looked like someone had only stepped on his toe, Archer was rapidly trying to piece together where the hell he was and why he had somehow been demoted from Counter Guardian to some random person in a suit. Once the initial confusion wears off, he eventually finds his way over to the phone and makes use of it.]

Alright. I'll bite. Where is this, when is it, and why am I here?

[The very blunt way of asking this did a poor job of masking both the head-spinning confusion of suddenly being human again and the irritation he had apparently entered the bizarro world of the 1950s.

Boy was he in for a few unpleasant surprises.]

Cade Masters, ADVENTURER EXTRAORDINAIRE!
12 May 2012 @ 11:39 am
4th Adventure: Lucky Again!
When Cade woke up this morning, he felt fantastic. He wasn't too sure what it was, but things just seemed to work out for him this morning. The paper boy was running late this morning, but Cade walked outside just at the right time to catch it mid-air. He puts on his pants and finds $20 in his pocket. And that box of bagels he got? Two extra cinnamon raisin bagels in there.

'This is going to be good day', he thinks. 'I'm going to make it count.'

((Cade is once again blessed by Idamra. From this point forward, it will be fairly noticeable how absurd Cade's luck is.)

[A. Phone. Filtered away from the Drones.]
"Hey everyone, this is Cade Masters here. You know, Adventurer Extraordinaire? I'm putting together a couple things, and I'd like to know who is interested.

First off, how many people in town use a sword? Does anyone besides me use a rapier or a similar light blade? I'd kind of like to find some more fencing/sparring partners, maybe even create a... league of swordsmen and swordswomen.

Second, who else is a musician here? I can sing and play the guitar pretty well on my own, but it'd be nice to form a group, band, troupe... whatever you want to call it.

Third, who here has any sort of... super ability to create things? Back home, some wizards were able to 'fabricate' pretty much any item as long as they had all the necessary raw materials on hand. Is there anyone like that here?

Finally, if anyone in town needs some dance lessons, I'd be happy to help. I know prom is coming up, and apparently on some worlds you poor folks don't dance nearly as much as where I came from.

[B. Phone. Filtered to 1490 Kramden]
"Is Ilsa there? I'm looking for some help for a friend who had some very traumatic experiences with ghosts, and I'm looking for someone who is trained in both psychology and in dealing with the supernatural..."

[C. Annie's Flowers]
[Cade shows up to Annie's flowers with a carton of assorted chocolates today. He struts in and sets them out on the counter for any of the employees to enjoy. He then looks about.]

"Is Olivier here today?"

[Hopefully Olivier isn't too sour about the flippant attitude Cade had when he was last here with Jenny. Maybe Olivier forgot about it?]

[D. Hiccup's Forge]
[Cade has come by, as agreed, to show his rapier to Hiccup and get the ball rolling on having some fencing épées made. He looks about the place curiously.]

"Hello, Hiccup? You here, lad?"

[E. Hardware Store]
[Cade is browsing door handles and locks. Feel free to bother him while he shops.]

[F. 305 Miller Street]
[Cade is feeling particularly ballsy, and has replaced the door knob to the master bedroom with one that can be locked/unlocked on one side by pushing and turning, and unlocked/locked from the other side by a key. He keeps one key for himself, sets the other on the kitchen table, makes himself some coffee, and waits for Jenny to come home.]

END 1 - THE KINDLE
[Jeanne slowly awakens, eyes fluttering before settling into her surroundings. She was no longer drenched at the bottom of a well with that barbarian. Now she was in an oddly decorated bedroom with pictures of herself with people she had never seen before. This was not right. This was new. Had EASY brought her to a new world of combat?

Jeanne growls as she exits the bed, finding an even greater horror. She's in a dress. The cry of rage that ensues echoes out of the house and down the block. None of her flames spark however. Is she truly powerless? She rampages through the house, breaking everything in her path until she finds an odd man speaking into an even more odd device. Grabbing a nearby chair and smashing it over her Drone Husband's head takes him out. The phone dangles before her...]

PHONE (Public):

Drifters. Ends. Humans? What am I in this world. Who are you? I know not where this land is. I do not know. Tell me.

I am Jeanne D'Arc, loyal commander of The Black King's Army. We shall purify this world of the wretched humans.

Those who have forsaken us shall be forsaken!

[Action 949 Beulah Street]

[Jeanne exits her house. Having stolen her Drone Husband's pants, shirt, and coat in the stead of the dress. Also. She's covered in blood. And wielding knives. For the moment she'll stand in front of her new home, taking in her surroundings.]

[All over town]

[Jeanne marches into town, wielding her knives and still covered in blood. Her eyes dart around, as though looking for something... Dare you approach?]

Scout [RED]
12 May 2012 @ 01:54 pm
{ONE} -- The strangest respawn.
[A] ACTION -- 336 Brady Lane
[The loud thunkthunkthunk of footsteps can be heard throughout the entire house as Scout awakens and darts around the master bedroom, millions of questions just rushing through his head. Immediately, the young man discovers that he's not wearing his usual attire but instead is fairly dressed up in a pressed long sleeve shirt and dark slacks. He locates the closet after a minute or two of frantic searching and is disheartened to find that his old outfit is missing.]

Aw, crap! I ain't wearin' dis!

[Not expecting anyone else to be in this strange house, Scout yells and slams the closet door shut, then heads over to the dresser next to the bed. Maybe something of his would be there. He reaches for the knob on the top drawer but his hand doesn't ever make it there; instead, it slowly trails upward to the top of the dresser where there's a picture inside of a frame. He picks up the framed photograph and brings it closer to his face, in sheer disbelief at what the picture contains. It appears to be an image of himself in a tuxedo, standing next to a woman in a wedding dress. Next to the 'couple' there's someone else, presumably a child, though this child is almost as tall as Scout.]

Wh-wha ... I got married?

[The hand holding the framed picture begins to shake and he throws it back onto the dresser, face down. This is all just too weird for him to comprehend and he needs to figure out at least where he is. He rushes out of the bedroom, slamming the door, and dashes down the stairs.]

[B] PHONE
[The sound of him fumbling with the phone is heard before he actually speaks. His first words are quiet, but the volume quickly picks up.]

Does this thing even work
HEY! HEY! I dunno where I am or where my shit is but I'm gonna find out an' I'm gonna make whoever did dis pay. Got it? So make it easier on yerself an' just tell me who y'are so our time ain't wasted an' I can just kick yer ass now.

[You can hear Scout tearing apart the living room as he searches for his belongings. He starts to yell into the receiver since he's being so loud rummaging through things.]

AND IF I FIND [CRASH! There goes a lamp!] ANY SCRATCHES ON DA SANDMAN YER FACE'LL BE BASHED IN SO HARD YOU'LL NEVER SEE AGAIN.

[C] ACTION -- Around town.
[Scout, still wearing the fancy pressed shirt and slacks, is attempting to run. He has to stop to catch his breath after every few minutes, and when he actually does manage to run he's not going fast at all.

You may currently find him somewhere either catching his breath, cursing, or lightly jogging.]

ᴄᴇʟᴇs ᴄʜᴇʀᴇ
12 May 2012 @ 03:22 pm
{first aria} -- lost and found.
[A] ACTION -- 1246 Williams Road
[There's a groan and a gasp before Celes jolts herself awake, beads of sweat slowly running down her temples. She reaches a hand upward to wipe some of the sweat away and blinks, trying to take in her surroundings. The room is unfamiliar to her, and she begins to ponder whether she's actually awake or not. After all, the last thing she remembers happening is falling to the shore and finding a pigeon with a bandana wrapped around its wing, and clearly, she is not anywhere near a shore right now.

She proceeds to get out of the bed and once both feet are planted firmly on the floor, she looks at her current outfit. A simple sundress, it appears to be, with equally simple (yet matching) shoes. Her old outfit is nowhere to be found, which makes the entire situation even stranger.

Exiting the bedroom and walking down the stairs, Celes notices a few pictures hanging on the wall. One of them appears to be of herself and a man, both in wedding attire.]

Who is this? Wh ... what exactly is going on here?

[She carefully touches the frame, curious as to whether it's really there or not. After determining that yes, the picture is, in fact real, she pulls her hand away and continues down the stairs. She then proceeds into the kitchen, a bit overwhelmed by all of the strange and new things contained therein. Right when she begins to open the refrigerator, though, she hears the voice of another and stops cold.]

Hello? Who are you?

[B] ACTION -- Around town.
[Celes is just wandering around town, a bit in awe from the amount of people and buildings she sees. The world must not have been completely destroyed!

Every once in a while she stops and looks up at the blue sky, a thoughtful look upon her face. Feel free to interact with her!]

Luke Triton
12 May 2012 @ 11:15 pm
Puzzle 027 - Forward-dated to Mother's Day
[Action - Various stores.]

[Mother's Day was here yet again, and Luke was planning to make himself somewhat scarce knowing what Mayfield usually did for this holiday. But even still, Luke wanted to do something nice for the ladies in his life. Which is why early on Sunday he can be found in various stores looking over jewelry, cards, women's accessories, and other gift items like he's making a life or death decision.

Even the drone woman working the jewelry counter seems to be getting impatient with him.]

Can I see that necklace again? The heart-shaped one, I mean.

Sweetie, you've already looked at the necklace. Three times.

I-I know but, I'm not sure what she would like...

[Action - Park.]

[After a long day of shopping, Luke's taking a break by sitting on a nearby bench in the park with some shopping bags. He wasn't planning to stay long, and surely nothing bad could happen in such a short amount of time, right...?

Not that he won't be compelled to follow any order that any girl gives him, though.]

[726 Anderson Lane]

[His knowledge of what Susan likes is limited to four things: 1) chocolates 2) the color black 3) rules 4) watching Edward suffer. Thus making it pretty difficult to find her the right kind of gift, although he's going to keep trying until he does. While chocolates is a pretty obvious answer, it's not the one he goes with. Instead, he'll slip into her room while she's elsewhere and leaves several small clay figures (thankfully not golems, although the temptation was there). Each clay figure is modeled off a member of the family, and while they clay figures aren't the most professional-looking things in the world, his skills with clay has improved quite a bit over the past few weeks.

All four clay figures are arranged in a box with a card sitting on top.]

[307 Miller]

[And for his grandma, Luke will be stopping by with a card and some flowers before knocking on the door.]

[5720 Cunningham]

[For his aunt, he'll be dropping by Ukraine's house with a card and a small box with a bow on it before he eagerly knocks on Ukraine's door.]

[ooc note: Luke is affected by all girls!]

Mason Cliffside
12 May 2012 @ 11:59 pm
01
[Action - 307 Miller Street]

[When Mason first wakes up, he doesn't want to get out of bed. He's never been so warm or comfortable, so for a moment he just enjoys it. Then he remembers that he hasn't slept in a bed for at week, and that's what gets him up in the end.

He doesn't recognize the room, he's wearing strange clothing, and most importantly he's alone. He wonders if he's dreaming, but a few quick pinches buries that possibility. Which could only mean that he's been kidnapped!

...oh right. That's bad.

Mason slips out of the bedroom, ready for a fight. If whoever kidnapped him was expecting him to be docile, then they had another thing coming!]

[Action - Around town]

[Mason is, for lack of a better term, rubbernecking.

He's never seen so many houses out in the open like this. They're all so clean, and they all look the same. It's actually a little unnerving. He's heard stories about places like this, and they were never good ones. Despite that he can't help but be entranced by them all, so don't be surprised if you find a strange teen messing with your flowers or peering in your windows.

But he's not just here to stare at things. Oh no, he's here looking for a friend, and you might hear him shouting as he tours Mayfield.]

Harley! It's me, Mason! Where are you? You've gotta be around here somewhere!

[...right?]
