[ There's a package waiting for her when she gets down. She opens it, to find some of her clothes from home in it. She picks it up, and gives it a fond smile. ]

Akashi-san? Are you alright? I wanted to apologize about the other day, on your birthday. I don't know what it was or why, but I was acting sort of weird, wasn't I? I know I want to make up for it though.

[ Yachiyo is out shopping today. Fridge needs more food, planning on bakin things, she needs to think over what happened a few days ago... she's wearing the clothes she got back not long ago. Looking around the store at the different groceries, to find what she needs. She's looking quite thoughtful at times, especially when looking at anything you might need for a cake. ]

I wonder if she's got any allergies..?

[ Yes, because talking to yourself is clearly what any sane person does. ]

[ She's planning on baking a cake, but talking to the people at the bakery isn't wrong. You need to look at all your options, don't you? And she needs to buy bread anyway, so why not. ]

_{[School has ended, leaving Sophie a little disappointed- without Asbel here to teach her things, it was a good way to improve her reading skills, though it was fun while it lasted. With her newfound free time, though, Sophie has turned her interests to flowers, her potentially second favorite thing aside from crablettes (or even better, those royal crablettes Pascal talked about). With the small allowance she has, Sophie can be found at the flower shop today, having remembered where it was from her first day in town, looking at packets of seeds. She can't read all of the names, but choosing based on how pretty they are is alright too, right...?

After making her selections, Sophie goes up to the counter to pay, only to find she has more than she can afford. Well, time to figure out what to go without.]}

What should I put back...?

[action 1, around town, morning]

[ There's a new face in town -- a rather ordinary-looking young man of average height and build, with black hair, blue eyes, and a pleasant smile on his face. Hands stuffed into his pant pockets, he is walking down the sidewalk, seemingly minding his own business as he approaches a random pedestrian and-- ]

『Hiya!!』

[ --In an instant, he's all up in their grill, his smiling mug just inches away from theirs. ]

『Hello! Excuse me! You there! Yes, you! If you're not too busy, may I please have a moment of your time?』

[ And even after he finishes speaking, the young man continues to stand rather closely to the other person, totally invading their personal space.

And he is still smiling. ]

[action 2, late afternoon, 1649 albright]

[ After spending several hours trying to gather as much information as he could, and another hour or two trying to recall his address, Kumagawa once again finds himself at the front steps of his new "home" -- 1649 Albright Lane. Once inside, he removes his shoes, leaves them at the front door, steps into the living room and, after taking a deep breath, announces quite loudly: ]

『I'm hooooooome, my wonderful, caring, loving family!! I'm soooooo sorry for sneaking out while you were all asleep this morning, but I'm back now, and I'm determined to be the best family member I can possibly be!』

13th Adventure

[Action A - Household, 7135 Brooks: Your kitchen is a total wreck today. Hurricane Aurora has passed though in an attempt to bake. There's flour everywhere, ingredients scattered, pots and pans overflowing the sink. The master baker herself is hovering (literally!) in the kitchen, looking over a recipe book. Her hair is tied up high on her head (as best as it could be), her apron has more flour on it than is probably used in recipes, and she's deep in thought as she mutters what she's reading aloud. ]

Let's see... oh no, did I add a tablespoon of the salt, or sugar?

[Being a ghost cook is suffering.]

[Action B: Brooks Street Out in front of their house, Aurora has set up a lovely little bake sale stand! It's decorated with colorful signs and flowers and streamers, and Aurora herself is all cleaned up and perfectly dressed. But the baked goods... Well, maybe they don't look as nice, but Aurora looks very excited for people to try them.

Here's the thing. Sometimes she got the recipe right. Sometimes she didn't. Maybe you got a good brownie or cookie, or maybe you didn't. Try at your own risk!]

[Action C - 1648 Albright Lane: There's a knock at the door! It's Aurora, looking a bit anxious and worried. She's carrying a small container of cookies, and she's looking to speak with Abel. Privately.]

[When Haruhi woke up this morning, she wasn't exactly feeling all that great. But the fact that she was sick wouldn't get her down. Even though she didn't have work from Mayfield, she still had to do things for the SOS Brigade.

Which is why she'll be up and around the house, though she's definitely in no shape to be going out.]

[ action ✖ around town ]

[Haruhi is sick today, Mayfield! But she'll still be going out to advertise the SOS Brigade to people who aren't already in it. And also remind everyone who is in the brigade that they have to go to the meetings. Even if there hasn't been one since school ended. No matter.

But if she spots you, she'll run towards you as quickly as she can, though she's a bit wobbly due to her fever. Obviously she's been overexerting herself.]

H... hey!

[And occasionally, she'll be leaning next to a tree in order to regain her footing. She's pretty crazy, to be going out in such a condition, even though some people told her not to go out.]

[When Haruhi picks up the phone, her voice isn't exactly... heard at first. Here, Mayfield, have some sounds of coughs and hacks. When she speaks, though, it's soft and slow - very unlike her.]

Mayfield. I have a question for you—

[A cough. She pauses for another five seconds after that, clearing her throat.]

Does anyone know any supernatural cures? I'll pay you with whatever I've got. That... that is all!

[Action A - 1649 Albright Lane]

-Charlie would have to get used to another... house mate, but that should be easy enough. Eventually. That morning, after getting dressed he went down to make himself a cup of coffee. After going about the process of making it, he poured himself a cup and headed outside to sit on the front porch.

That's when he noticed the small package. He frowned as he picked it up to look it over... and raised a brow at the fact it was addressed to him. He set the coffee down and carefully opened the box. Inside was an envelope... and opening that, a small piece of paper was removed. Upon reading what was written, Charlie was left simply confused.-

[Action B - Anywhere]

-The guy with the large forelock of hair is going about, minding his own business while he runs a few errands. Feel free to talk to him as he's making his rounds, he might even ask about regains. After all... he still doesn't understand what he exactly regained.-

[ Anri is clearly much warier than she usually is-- her expression is riddled with confusion, and she has yet to figure out who (or what) has taken her away from her apartment in Ikebukuro.

The undisturbed atmosphere in the house is unsettling. Not a thing is out of place, and there's not a speck of dust to be found when she runs her finger over a shelf. Her eyebrows furrow ever so slightly at the sight of a childhood portrait on the same shelf - and the funniest thing about it is that she can't remember ever having it taken.

This isn't good. Care to fill her in? ]

Um..

[ Not a word leaves her lips. She's not sure if anyone's actually listening, but she decides to speak anyway. ]

.. i-if I can ask, does anyone understand what's going on..? [ Because she sure as hell doesn't. ]

[ Worry has driven her out of her house and onto the streets of Mayfield, but she has no set destination and it's clear that she's got no idea where she's going. The whole 'I'm lost but I'm going to pretend everything is perfectly fine' aura is almost literally oozing from her very being.

Her gaze shifts from left to right frantically. She looks like she's searching for something - and you're not entirely wrong in saying that, because she needs answers - but she can't really put her finger on it herself.

Who can she ask? She's allowed to ask for help around here, right? ]

[Sorry those who live here, Almaz came over to see if Mao was alright, but when he found a drone again he started going through his stuff and taking it... a good chunk of that stuff was his to begin with though, so don't get scared and think there's a thief. Or feel free to do so since this strange guy is rooting through someones stuff ready to take it.]

It's true... I didn't want to believe it with everything going on but... I don't think Mao is going to go back to normal.... Why do they do that? Why do they take them away yet leave them in... that state? It's just painful to see the people you know and care about like that.

[Action; around Mayfield]

[Almaz was not his usual upbeat self, the idea of Mao being a drone was really bothering him and it left him rather depressed. He tried to do all the things that made him feel better, like go to the comic book store, see a movie, play video games, but none of it helped.

One could find Almaz all over Mayfield today obviously bothered.]
