✰ The Second Fairy Tale ✰
►►► AROUND TOWN (ALL DAY);
[ While Amy isn't terribly fond of her job, she's got little choice but to approach the long list of people. With a pile of folded notes in hand, she's decided to skip out on the casseroles and baked goods, carrying instead a bag full of lollipops. Going from door to door, she'll knock and wait expectantly with a wrapped up piece of candy extended towards the door. ]

Gonna be brief, but my sympathies for your poor grades, problems in bed, and or your sick parents. Studying and church is recommended solutions and I've got to get going. [ Really, she's got a long list here. ] Unless you have a real problem, then I guess I can stick around and help.

[ And if you're someone she's already met before, then she's probably taking back the lollipop. Has to save those for the people with the real problems. It makes up for the disappointing lack of advice she has after all. ]

►►► PHONE (NO FILTERS);
This place is strange. Pretty strange. I've seen a lot of strange things, but this town really reels in some winners. How many of you have met someone for the very first time, but they claimed they met another you from before? That's strange and not to mention rude too. [ Speaking of rude: ] I didn't introduce myself last time and really, I think an introduction over the phone is all sorts of silly. I'm Amy Pond-er-Nightroad I guess now. I live at 1648 Albright Lane and have more than enough children at my age.

Now that I've gotten that out of the way, let's do something fun.

Pinkie Pie
27 May 2012 @ 02:22 pm
Second Party Hat
[A - General Store]

[Pinkie is sitting outside the store with a little red wagon. She's been trying and trying and TRYING to get inside, but the silly drones just won't let her go inside to shop. What's a poor pony to do?

Get somepony else to shop for her, of course.]

Hey! Excuse me! Do you think you could run in there and buy something for me? Please? I have the money and everything, but the drones are being silly and won't let me in!

[B - Around Town, Possibly Your House]

[After procuring the things she needs, Pinkie is pulling that red wagon around town. The wagon looks a bit different now; it's filled with rubber bouncy balls. It is a rather impressively-sized pile of rubber bouncy balls. They're in all sizes and colors, and it looks like a small miracle that they're not spilling out of the wagon.

And what is Pinkie doing with these rubber bouncy balls, you may ask? Why, it's simple--she's preparing Mayfield for ball emergencies! You may find Pinkie anywhere and everywhere attempting to hide balls in various out of the way places. Maybe it's that hollow tree in the park. Maybe it's your mailbox or that empty watering can out in your front yard. She may even be hiding it under your lawn gnome's hat. And how did she get up on that rooftop to hide that bouncy ball inside a chimney?

But ball emergencies are not exactly a common thing to prepare for. Dare you ask the happy pink pony why she's oh-so-carefully hiding that bouncy ball? Or ask her to get out of your yard, at least?]

Obi-Wan Kenobi

006.
[ MacCready and Sons Law Office; Morning ]

[ It is quite amazing how little work is required of them in this law office. Save for certain cases, so long as the semblance of work is given, things appear to go smoothly. Still, Obi-Wan Kenobi has never been someone to only give half an effort.

They'll have to forgive him today.

Co-workers will notice that absolutely no noise is coming from his office. Completed work is set neatly at the corner of his desk. Obi-Wan himself can actually be found on the floor, seated in a meditative position. He's learned over the years not to be picky with what you have, and frankly, this is one of the better places to meditate.

Strange, but true.]

[ Bakery; Afternoon ]

[Food isn't really something he came here for. No, tea is what he came here for. He's settled at a table that's slowly becoming his usual spot, staring down into the steaming mug, wishing idly for some blue milk, something he had become quite fond of as of late. ]

[ 952 Beulah Street ; Outside; Late Afternoon ]

[ While it may seem pointless without a lightsaber handy, Obi-Wan understands better than ever not to allow himself to fall lax. So, he can be found out back, practicing Form III with the closest, most nature-friendly thing to a saber: a tree branch. Granted, it's not nearly as long, or as deadly, but he will work with what he must. ]

[ 952 Beulah Street ; Night ]

[ Neighbors may notice him from their own houses or as they walk by, seated on the porch, steaming cup of tea in hand, apparently content with simply observing the night. Anyone who knows him should realize that there is so much more to his observing something than just simple observing. That's for him to know, and everyone else to find out, of course. ]

fourteen ♓ voice;
[Feferi's voice is kind of shaky when she picks up the phone. There isn't any hint of the excitement it had just a few days ago, when she was bouncing around prom and feeling on top of the world. She takes a long, shaky breath, then a second, before she speaks.]

...to anyone who knows Sollux Captor, he's been droned. I don't think - well, it's been a couple of days. If someone's droned for a while, it usually means they aren't going to wake up, or at least, wake up with their memories. Right?

[Another sigh.]

I - I'm sorry. And I'm sorry to have to be the bearer of bad news so soon after one of the best nights I've ever had. That sounds awful and I know it, but I had to get it out there.

...I'll miss him. A lot.

The Fair Lady
27 May 2012 @ 10:13 pm
iv.
[WELP ever since her unfortunate regain the Fair Lady hasn't really been feeling very fair. It's been centuries since her spider half was actually alive and she was capable of seeing what it looks like; being reminded of the monstrosity that's replaced her legs and torso has left her feeling more than a little self-conscious.

When she has left the house, it's been to fetch groceries or to attend school, and she always leaves when it's dark and not many people are around. Her days at school are spent hiding in the girls' bathroom, her spider half crammed inside a tiny stall. She's afraid of what the other real citizens would think of her, of course, but she's also afraid of the drones: what might they do, to see such an abomination in the midst of their perfect town? Quelaan doesn't want to find out.

Even still, the loneliness is becoming unbearable. She's spent centuries in silence and darkness, only to be dropped into a world of light and sound upon arrival in Mayfield. She craves conversation, noise, interaction, and eventually that craving is enough to overcome her fear.

So, today Quelaan can be found...]

[A. ...at the high school, tentatively stepping out of the bathroom while classes are in session. As far as she knows, the halls are empty, but even exposing herself this much has left her on edge. Her spider half stretches its legs, enjoying its reprieve from the bathroom stall.

She jumps a little when the bell rings and the classroom doors fly open, and a look of terror crosses her face. The drone children mill about her, going to their lockers and chatting in their cheerful monotone. Not a one of them shrieks or gasps at the sight of the teenage girl with a giant arachnid for a torso. In fact, one of them even smiles and waves at her, saying "Hi Quelaan!"

The Fair Lady looks absolutely confused, and murmurs to herself.]

Have they no fear of anything...?

[B. ...at the park, in a bit of a dilemma. Some jackass has been letting his dogs run around unleashed, and naturally they've been roaming around the entire park. One of them has run right up to Quelaan, yapping excitedly and sniffing at her legs. Needless to say, her spider half is less than pleased, and it appears to be on the verge of attacking. Quelaan is trying to calm her lower self down and shoo the dog away, with little success.]

No! You mustn't... please, pup, begone! 'tis not safe...!

[Help the poor girl out?]

[C. ...in the forest on the outskirts of town, enjoying the peace and shade. Her spider half is spinning a small web between trees while Quelaan hums a soft tune under her breath, unaware of anyone nearby. All is well.

All is well until a large bear shambles out from the trees, that is. Quelaan hasn't noticed it yet, but the bear is rising up on its hind legs and looks ready to charge. Intervene?]

Third oath of moment: Wolf at bay
1.[ Phone, filtered, and the voice is disguised by his helm. Only those who've spoken to him extensively are likely to realize this is Loken ]

I have some questions for you. Which is stronger, fear or hope? I also wish to know, is it better to protect people in compromise with evil, or to oppose the evil, and break it, knowing some of those you would protect will die?

2. Location: Makeout point, time: Midnight. [ An armored figure in white plate stares out over a town, heavily armed and searching for something, anything, really. Finally, he looks to the moon. ]

3. Location: 2237 Stevens. [ Garviel is sitting in the garage with the door open, working with tools on his armor's chest plastron, stripped to the waist, exposing huge, slab-like muscles stippled with neural-access points, as he slowly but surely carves delicate things into the inside of the breastplate. ]

4. The Park [ Garviel is running through his sword practice in full armor, wielding a one and a half meter long blade together with his chainsword, moving so quickly the weapons whirl about him like a silver sphere of death. Dare you approach? ]

5. L'Deplaisant [ A huge fellow in a suit that barely fits him approaches your table, and rumbles in a very deep voice. ] May I take your order?
