Ted

[action; around 850 Goldberg; morning]

[If anyone in the house is awake and attentive, they'll hear a thud from the back yard; and if any of the neighbors are out this early in the morning, they may see a teenager climbing out his window and jumping down to the ground. Out of all the places to wake up, an cozy and innocuous house was not what Ted was expecting after last night, and the window being unlocked, he's decided to get a look at his surroundings before anyone notices he's gone. He's wandered through several of the neighboring yards, and no luck -- all the houses look exactly the same, which is not exactly answering any questions. There might be more to see in front of the houses, but Ted's not sure he wants to be spotted until he has an idea of what's going on.]

[Fair warning: he might be trespassing in your back yard, looking somewhat suspicious and very baffled. And also a little worried, because the houses look so similar he can't remember which one he came from. Oops?]

[action; Mayfield High; noon]

[Ted arrives at school just before lunchtime, shepherded into a nearly finished class by a responsible drone who disapproves of young men wandering about during school hours. He takes the seat given and spends the remainder of the class looking uncomfortable and listening with a weird sort of fascination to the unfamiliar history being taught.]

[When the lunch bell rings, he stands up but doesn't move, unsure where to go. Anyone feel like helping him?]

Drink Count: 29 || Take a look in the mirror and cry Lord what you're doing to me
[Aziraphale is gone. Or, well... A drone, more rather. He gets a sense that this might be permanent. It's been several days now and Crowley's gone by 852 Goldberg to check and see if the angel has come out of it yet. But even his wings are gone.

It breaks his heart to see Aziraphale like this. He can never bear to stay long when he comes to check on him. It's like his whole foundation is shattering more, the longer he stays with this shell that was once the angel he desperately loves.

And now also his not!wife is a drone. What the fuck, universe?]

A. [Park: Around Noon]

[Crowley is sitting alone on a bench and feeding the ducks some bread.]

B. [Olney's Tavern: Evening]

[Cowley's behind the bar and drinking a lot more than he usually does. And not even the cocktails he normally drinks, but just scotch on the rocks. Even his wings are starting to become a reflection of his mental state, the normally sleek and immaculate appendages are untidy with the occasional falling feather.]

[ A » Action: Mayfield General Store ]

[Let's not mince words here: being a grocer is boring. Believe him, he's been through the whole song and dance with the whole being in a different time period. You haven't seen nothing until you become a blacksmith's apprentice in the 19th century. This gig has all the perks of slacking off but no glory whatsoever. Things pick up and then slow down drastically. One cannot just simply re-stock an re-price for the next 4-hours. Nah, you gotta get a little creative.

So you might be going about your own business, maybe just picking up some milk- err... orange juice for the family. You will see this McFly going about his duties with some...rhythm. The radio seems to be tuned into some catchy doo-woop you can't help but tap your toes to. You might find him moonwalk his way those shopping baskets back neatly onto the basket pile. Maybe even do a little-twirl around the breakfast aisle.

Does he even notice people are staring at him?]

[ B » Action: The Record Store ]

[Oh yeah, he's going in. What sorts of records will he find in his small venture inside the record store? He sifts through a couple of vinyls from the Blues section. At the classics are still here. Maybe a few drone artists here and there but so far, so good.

But what Marty is really coming for is the rock'n'roll vinyl. That's right, we're getting hardcore with some heavy hits from Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis...

...Too bad there's very few records to go through.]

I guess the drones aren't ready for Elvis Presley just yet.

Great scott! It's been weeks since I've felt conscience. I have a feeling, I was droned... I need to quickly see if I can measure any difference in brain activity. If anyone needs me, I'll be in the lab.... Alone....

Dressing Up
[A - Phone - Drone Filter]

Hey all, Date here with a request for all of those tailors out there and seamstresses. Is there anyone who can get me a shirt in light blue and a new suit jacket in maybe a tan? The stores won't give me anything but dark suit jackets.

[B - Around Mayfield]

[Date's looking to figure things out with what he could do with the Cell Medals he had. Looking through the pile of medals, he was curious about one thing. Hoping there was enough room, he took one single cell medal out and with considerable force, snapped it in half.

Tossing it into the ground, he waited for a moment.]

Huh... was it a dud?

[Just then, a monster rose from the ground, black and covered with appeared to be bandages. It started to shuffle towards him and Date grinned, pulling his jacket off, cracking his knuckles.] So it DOES work! Awesome!

[And with that, he laid into the Trash Yummy, grabbing it in a clothesline and throwing it to the ground as he began to pound on the monster.]

First Composition
[A - Master Bedroom of 503 Ricardo]

[The last thing Otoya remembers, he was floating. And in pain. There was...a river? Yes, that's it! He was fighting that wolf-monster and things weren't going so well, and...Otoya sits up with a start and looks wildly around the room. This wasn't the river he'd been thrown into. And where was Garulu? And WHERE WAS HE?

He then realizes there's a woman lying next to him, which is something he REALLY thinks he would remember--especially when he realizes who this woman is.]

...I'm in Heaven, aren't I?

[B - The Kitchen of 503 Ricardo]

[So apparently being dead and in Heaven means you can still get hungry. Otoya has gone downstairs to fix himself something to eat. You'll find him raiding the fridge looking for something to make a sandwich with.

He's in a really good mood, by the way, because hey, Heaven. And Maya. Would any of his new housemates like to burst his bubble?]

[C - Around Town]

[Otoya's now walking around town, trying to take everything in. He's looking for all the world like a lost tourist, and he's not even bothering trying to hide the stench of Mayfield noob that surely must be emanating from him.]

[D - Phone]

Hey, is this where you go when you die?

Test Log Twenty Five - Nice Job Breaking It Hero ...the letter
[A. GLaDOS has been spending time on her computer lately well she's built something approximately close enough to a printer, though it's Aperture made so who knows how. Anyway. Housemates, she's coming out of the basement with a stack of papers if you'd like to ask what she's been doing. She...seems to be in a good mood if her humming is anything to go by.]

[B. In the science class in the high school.]

And on top of reading the chapter on physics and answering the questions, I'd like you to read this. It's a letter for the town idiots who call themselves heroes when they first arrive. Feel free to take a few to hand out to anyone telling you you're just sitting around and doing nothing instead of trying to escape and saving us all like they are.

[C. The School Teachers lounge. GLaDOS is has put some of the letters out for you guys as well. Feel free to read one. She's just sitting by them, flipping through a science text book and scoffing. She even has a "take one" sign next to the letters.]

[D. In the record store. Tom ....Lehrer... Well this sounds interesting. The Elements...]

....oh is this about science?

[E. She's bored and has a vague reason to visit people. Time to go see Chell. Knocking on the door of 850 Goldberg]

[Phone]

I have a letter written if anyone would like one. It's similar to the introducationary letter, but more aimed towards the people who believe they're going to save us all, simply now that they're here. To put it more simply. Idiot heroes.

If you'd like a few to pass out. I'd be happy to provide them. I know I'm certainly not the only one getting irritated by these people.

[You might also hear something like this playing in the background before she hangs up. She found her soulmate. Sorry science.]

Chapter 13 - Catering to the Masses
[Phone]

Ah... Prom's getting closer, isn't it? And there's so much preparation left to do! But this isn't about dresses, or dates... I've volunteered to help with the refreshments! But I might already be out of ideas. I'm not much of a cook, and apparently, the food that the town's cookbooks recommend making isn't actually that good? I want this to be good! I want this to be a night to remember.

If anyone has any suggestions for food that they'd like to see at the prom, please tell me! And oh, I'm also looking for people to help prepare things, too. I'm only one person. It's going to be a big party. If we all pitch in, I'm sure it'll be fine. Right?

[Action A - Mayfield General Store - Late morning]

[The purple android is ambling up and down the rows of goods, taking notes on a note pad. There's no real need to do groceries, and no need to buy the things she needs just yet... things might go bad in the meanwhile. But she has to figure out if she can afford all the food that she intends on making...]

Maybe I'll ask everyone for donations...

[...this is probably the third time that she's been down the produce aisle.]

[Action B - The park, early afternoon]

[Well. This is new. When you catch Dakki in the park she's usually going for a jog or getting in some open-air weapon practice. Today she's sitting on a bench, looking tired. There's a notepad on her lap, that she occasionally flips back open and reads... but it doesn't take much of that to make her groan and flip it shut again.

She had totally tackled a De Ragan far larger than she had imagined.]

[Action C - 458 Stone Street - afternoon]

[Enough about food! Enough for one day! Dakki had arrived home and simply tossed all her plans onto the table, before heading out to the back yard to blow off some steam. After some warm-up stretches, she pulls her photon saber from storage so she can practice her swordplay. Or her stances and basic motions, at least. It had been much too long since the town had a violent event. It seemed more important than ever to try to be ready.]
