JAWS 13 - MAKING WAVES
[Mart has managed to regain one of his more... peculiar Leviathan powers. Namely, being able to create waves of water and spit out geysers. Time to put these skills to good use.]

[Action: 914 Bilko Blvd]

[Mart's busy in the backyard of his house, digging with his bare hands.]

[Action 2: Later]

[Mart has a crudley dug out hole filled with water. In his backyard and is currently enjoying a soak. Care to join him?]

Phone:

Hey everybody!

Guess who's got a pool!?

32nd Invasion
[Action; 462 Stone Street and surrounding area]

[Well, Squid Girl's all alone again in an empty house.  Caster is gone, just like so many housemates before him.  And to make matters worse, Taiwan has left her too.  It's a pretty solid blow to this little squid's ability to cope with the horrible things in Mayfield, so she's going to deal with it in the best and most productive way she knows how - by throwing a tantrum and making a lot of noise.  Thankfully, she's just opened a new regain that should help with that quite a bit.  Anyone in the general vicinity of 462 Stone Street - or anywhere on the street, really - will hear a five hour long drum solo being loudly and angrily played by Squid Girl throughout most of the afternoon.  She's actually really good, but eventually the sound of drums echoing through the air for that long should grate on even the most patient person's nerves.  But Squid Girl's upset and vulnerable and feeling exceedingly unreasonable right now, so other people are honestly pretty low on her list of priorities.  The door's unlocked, the windows are open, and the phone's available for angry calls, though, so anyone who's reaching their limit can feel free to barge in or yell at her to stop.]

Phone // public, unfiltered:

Ah, so everything is back to normal again now? As normal as it ever gets around here, I mean. [Nina pauses briefly, as if she's thinking about something.] I was lucky, for once. Whatever happened seemed to have skipped over me.

I had a question, though. How many people have had their jobs changed since they came here? It's happened to my brother, and now it's happened to me too. I was wondering how often it happens, and if there's a reason for it, or if it's just something Mayfield does from time to time.

Action A. // Mayfield Hospital:

[Nina seems to be taking to her new job as a nurse! The hospital still holds certain memories and associations for her, of course, and she tries to avoid running into Tenma's drone as much as she can. But despite that, when she goes over to you for whatever reason -- maybe she recognizes you, maybe you're a patient, maybe you call her over for something -- she is smiling kindly.]

Hey!

Action B. // Taiwan's Cosplay Cafe:

[Nina still finds time to help Taiwan at the cosplay cafe, too, just like she said she would! Funnily enough, the costume she's wearing now is remniscient of a nurse's uniform -- but a lot shorter! And cuter.

Smiling, she holds a pen and paper as she approaches her next customer.]

Can I take your order?

Action C. // Streets of Mayfield:

[Walking home now, and looking a lot more... thoughtful, now that she's not having to tend to others. But she still has time for friends and people with questions! Come and say hi.]

[ badly filtered to Signless, hackable ]

[ It's most of the morning before Giles works up the nerve to make the call. His tone is as measured and formal as he can manage. ]

Signless? This is Giles. I'd quite like to speak with you, i-if, um-- [ and his voice falters, here, uncertainty and desperation coming through just momentarily ] --if you'd...

It'll only be a moment.

[ action at 724 Anderson ]

[ Well, that was a thoroughly strange and confusing couple of days, and it leaves Giles scattered and jittery. He spends much of the day at home, reading without absorbing much, locking himself away in the bedroom with the guitar and making it only halfway through songs before he runs out of concentration.

You might find him reading on the front porch simply to escape his notfamily, a stack of very thick books at his side-- or, if you happen to peek over the fence as you pass, find him practicing with a sword or tending to his crossbow in the back yard. ]
