1st Spellcard: Transcendence of Faith "Armed Only With Prayer"

Action A: 842 Hastings Boulevard; locked to housemates

(Greetings, housemates! You have a new daughter/sister in your home who's understandably worried about her new location and the loss of her powers; unlike typical Mayfield newbies, however, Reimu here has gone and pretty much littered decorated the entire house with paper charms to ward off the evil that brought her here. You just might see her writing up a few more charms or hanging up the finished ones, but she's taking as much of her shrine as she can into this new place.)

Action B: Outside 842 Hastings; Open to all

(With the house now buried protected by charms and seals, Reimu, in an unfortunately gray plaid dress, sits outside her home in a state of meditation and prayer. With her hair bow gone, her long hair flowed with the wind. While she should investigate the area, the lack of her power and even her normal clothes made her feel vulnerable. With her shrine gone (again), the yin-yang orbs missing and the Hakurei border nowhere nearby, Reimu resorted to prayer as her only means of leveling her mind so she could think rationally.

Translation: this is the best time to annoy her and disrupt her with whatever you want. Fellow Touhou girls are more than welcome to taunt greet her and tease comfort her regarding the formerly powerful miko of Hakurei losing everything but her sense of self.)

I'm guessing they won't make it that easy for me. They might set off boredom earthquakes to destroy it, like Tenshi did.

...can they really do that? The entire Hakurei Shrine? But where would it go? I wonder if it could fit in the backyard without crushing this house...

Or who knows what else. A few months ago, they leveled the whole town for a few days just to punish us.

Well, it's not like you like this house, do you? So it's no problem if you crush it.

It sounds as of the ones in charge enjoy using excessive amounts of force. Or maybe they're too afraid to only punish the guilty.

I could do without the house itself, but the real problem is the people living in it. Not just the lifeless ones, but actual, living people whose deaths I don't want to be responsible for...

Or they just like seeing us squirm. Their sadism is rather obvious.

Well, just tell them to stand out of the way when you open any packages. They'd come back to life, anyway.

Well I now have to worry about what this town gives back to me, but that should do the trick. Grazing danmaku is one thing, but grazing a building should be easier.

Or harder. Getting around one of those would be pretty hard on foot.

I'll have to remember that not everyone can fly. Perhaps a 5 minute warning would minimize casualties.

I look forward to it. Though I've yet to get my own back... so far I've only regained my physical powers. [which are pretty impressive when you're a 500 year old vampire]

A formidable start, at least. Throwing buildings is still very intimidating. And powerful if it hits.

(AND THEN REMI REALIZES THAT HER HAND IS NOW exactly as it was before. Powerless charms and all that. Reimu just kinda looks a bit annoyed.)

Nothing at all, it seems. Perhaps I'll recover my spiritual miko powers soon; then those charms will have meaning again.

Maybe. Well, at least they add character. The houses around here are all so boring.

Is there a chance I'd be able to reserve one of those rooms? There's no mansion like the Scarlet Devil Mansion.
