I...couldn't catch everything that was said over the radio, but I was able to jot down the basics, for everypony that's interested:

(A slight rustling of papers before she clears her throat and reads aloud.)

I don't know if anyone heard this...

And I believe I heard the name "Richard Grey" somewhere in there, but I can't be certain. Can anyone confirm this?

I did hear the name Richard Grey. I would start gathering supplies and weapons just in case if I were you.

That's not a bad idea at all. I also have my magic, so hopefully that can provide an extra layer of defense, if need be.

Would you happen to recognize the name "Richard Grey?" I can't recall it from anywhere...

Yeah! I heard Grey too! So his name's Richard Grey? ...But the carnival is out to hurt us? I thought I heard a man was going to hurt us there...but it makes sense.

Like I said, I couldn't translate everything; there was too much interference...but I won't doubt the possibility of the town and perhaps a few representatives coming out to get us. In a way, Mayfield's alive on its own accord; if this carnival is literal, then maybe it's just as alive as the town...?

Ah, but I heard that name, too. Is there any significance to it? I'm not sure I've ever heard of such a man before.

Based on what I've heard, he has ties to Mayfield's past. I'm not aware of the specifics, but he was found dead during a Westport event years ago...and dead men aren't supposed to talk.

Yup; things seem to be falling apart in the worst way possible. I...it'll probably get really dangerous in the coming weeks. We need to prepare for everything we can, Zidane.

I'm not sure either, but I doubt it'll be a good kind of carnival. It could either mean something kooky will happen or a literal carnival will come to town...and I'm not receptive to either option.

So, it seems that our "home" is falling apart at the seams. But, the problem is, how much of this is true and how much of this is just this place pulling our legs.

I wish I could properly answer that, but no one really knows how true any of this is. I'd like to remain hopeful, but I can't ignore the possibility of all of this being a grand trap. Therefore, I think it's best to prepare for everything we can.

That seems to be the idea. The real problem lies in finding these holes and everything that'll get in the way of us using them: codes, carnivals, Mayfield falling to pieces...it's all a huge mess.

From what I've heard, they've been slipping up since last year, but this does give even more evidence of that.

...so wait, you saw a document that mentioned that name? Would you mind if I asked you which one this was?

Twilight? Ah'm not sure if that's right or not, Ah only heard it. Didn't really get a chance to write anything down to compare with what you have there.

But Ah remember quite awhile ago there was a rather creepy fair thing in the summer. Rather tamed compared to some of the things that go on around here, but still was disturbing. That carnival it mentioned might be something similar the town might try...

Unfortunately, I was pre occupied with a few inventions to get a record of the transmission in time. You heard as much as I was able to make out.

... I think they're giving us a chance to go home.

If being able to go home is really an option, then I'm not sure it's something they really want to give us. For all we know, it could just be something to dangle over our heads just to warrant some kind of ecstatic response...but I really want to hope it's a way out.
