I...couldn't catch everything that was said over the radio, but I was able to jot down the basics, for everypony that's interested:

(A slight rustling of papers before she clears her throat and reads aloud.)

"Hello? Can anyone hear me?
Insane. I don't know if you can hear me.
Glitches. It's not perfect, not even for us.
Chance to strike back. More dangerous that ever...unstable...only gotten worse since.
Losing control, not only for themself.
Some kind of carnival...trying to hurt you...
...find the answers you're looking for.
Codes in the system.
Holes through Mayfield. I know, I'm...Mayfield...
I don't know if anyone heard this...
Get out of town now, for all our sakes...
...signing off."

And I believe I heard the name "Richard Grey" somewhere in there, but I can't be certain. Can anyone confirm this?

Twilight? Ah'm not sure if that's right or not, Ah only heard it. Didn't really get a chance to write anything down to compare with what you have there.

But Ah remember quite awhile ago there was a rather creepy fair thing in the summer. Rather tamed compared to some of the things that go on around here, but still was disturbing. That carnival it mentioned might be something similar the town might try...

A fair...? Mind telling me more about that? I'd like to know if there are any connections between the two.

Well, it had you're usual fare. A merry-go-round, but the animals kind look like they were alive. A ferris wheel that wouldn't let you off once you got on. Some kinda strange sideshow. And pretty rather disgusting food as well.

For some reason though, only kids and what the town considers 'pets' were there. No adults. And we were stuck there for the day. We couldn't get back to town until it was gone.

That sounds awful...I'm sorry to hear you had to go through that. Still, that might be reflected in whatever may happen in the next few days. I just hope the damage report won't be so bad...

Yeah, hopefully we won't be forced to go through all of that again. Or at least we can avoid getting hurt if it's all the same.

Still not sure what happened to the adults during that time, though...

Maybe they were brought to a similar place? Someplace exclusive for adults?

Ah think Ah heard Theo mentioned something about a locked hotel room and some crazy lady in his sleep, but Ah honestly have no idea because he wouldn't say anything while he was awake...

...so he said more in his sleep?

...He kinda mumbles a lot in his sleep after getting drunk, yeah. Least the times Ah found him doing so, he usually had a bunch of empty bottles by him. He can be a right gloomy gus sometimes, but Ah try to keep him from getting too bad, ya know?

That makes sense. Maybe it's just something he doesn't like talking about...

Still, if it's not the first time the town's doing something like this, then anything can happen...and that's what worries me.

Theo doesn't like talking about a lot of things... Sometimes Ah think he drinks not to think about those things, but ends up talking about them when drunk...

But yeah, it worries me too. Ah kinda want to just avoid it outright, but Ah have a feeling even trying that won't get you out of anything this town has planned...

Sounds like the kind of thing that would happen when you try to drink away your problems; they have much more buoyancy than alcohol.

It's likely possible, but difficult to do so. I'm thinking I'll end up putting a barrier around the house and waiting it out.

Heh, that may be so, but he usually doesn't realize he's doing it, so Ah guess it hasn't occurred to him yet...

That sounds like a good idea at least, at the very least if it's something going through town, it'll keep you safe.
