First transmission
A. [ Action | Outside 3476 Erwin Street ]
[Aria has not had a pleasant morning. On top of waking up to find herself in a strange place, in stranger clothes and an even stranger body beside a random human male she now also has no pants. After having a minor panic attack at how disgustingly primitive everything in the house is she's stolen her husbands pants, stolen a jacket and decided to figure out where she is and what the meaning of all of this is.]
B. [ Action| Olney's Tavern ]
[After being slightly unsettled by the ant-like conformity of Erwin Street, Aria has found the Tavern. If the shouting isn't loud enough to be heard by passers by then she certainly can be heard inside the bar giving the drone a piece of her mind about his service.]
C. [ Action| John Doe Park]
[Seeing as she has no where better to be and the biggest open space happens to be the park, hopefully she can find someone here that isn't going to berate her for wearing pants or wanting a drink.]

[But that is old news, she's more entertained by the bow.]
Sport. Interesting, I imagine it's much like target practice with a gun then. Outside of your tree not moving, at all.
no subject
Also I usually don't get my arrows back that way. And it takes me a while t' make 'em.
no subject
You could always just chase them down and pull the arrows out, but that's just a suggestion.
How do you shoot with that?
no subject
You really ain't never seen a bow?
Roight. So it's simple. Ya put an arrow against th' string, pull it back, an' off it goes.
*He demonstrates by nocking another arrow and letting fly, hitting the tree dead center.*
no subject
[But once he demonstrates she'll hold out a hand.]
Mind if I try?
no subject
Not with this one ya can't. I made it specifically fer me.
*But still, it might be nice to have someone to shoot against...*
I could show ya on my spare sometime. But not with this one.
no subject
Fair enough, I knew men tended to like their guns, I guess it applies to more weapons in general.

Seeing as I woke up this morning in a completely different body than my own, I can understand.
no subject
Wait what? Back up a second. Different body? What do ya normally look loike?
no subject
Blue, normally I'm a nice indigo colour without this... hair, and I tend to be taller than this. Not much, but the few inches help.
no subject
Of course with th' talking ponies and cats and whatever that fish throwing dinosaur is I shouldn't be all that surprised.
If it's any consolation you might suddenly be blue again. This place is wonky like that.
no subject
If I do get to be back to myself it'll be one less thing I hate so far about this place.
no subject
... Don't suppose you know what that is do ya?
no subject
[Give her a moment she has 650 years of information in that head of hers.]
I believe it's some giant kind of lizard? Then again nothing in this place seems to make much sense, as you've said.
no subject
Anyway. Place is awful, an' yer unfortunately stuck here jus' like the rest of us.
no subject
I think I'll be able to handle it, if dinosaurs delivering fish is one of the worst things here.
no subject
Bad days are when there's zombies, or clones of people you thought ya knew. Or even aliens landing and blowing up half th' town.
no subject
Zombies and clones, well, I guess I'll take it in stride, either that or drop dead. In this body it seems more possible that I'd do that, might be a better option than some others.
Guess I should look into getting a gun.
no subject
There's a gun store, but all you'll be able t' get is 1950's handguns pretty much. Better than nothin' I suppose. Have a rifle from there I'm taking apart and modifying.
no subject
So I'll be able to get antiques, everything else here is antiquated so I guess it'll fit right in.
[Now she's curious about him modifying the rifle.]
Knowing the type of guns I assume are here, I'm sure you could get creative with modifications.
no subject
Right now I'm jus' taking it apart and putting it back together so it don't hit me in the face when I reload. None of 'em here are made for people who are left-handed like me.
no subject
This town is so... ancient. They still make guns that aren't ambidextrous?
no subject
I'm almost afraid t' ask what year yer from.
no subject
At least handguns are ambidextrous, not all hope is lost then.
