Third Apology [Post Dairy Raid]

5723 Cunningham: Closed to Household

[Tsubaki made doughnuts, and she sits in the kitchen waiting nervously for one Tony Stark to join her, so she can apologize for his missing liquor. She hadn't known he was going to take it, but she's made up her mind to tell him it was her fault, and that she'll do extra chores or something to make up for it.]

[She'll look up as each person enters the kitchen, both hoping it's Tony, and hoping it's not.]

That wasn't very nice of you, even if he's part of an elitist group. I just hope you didn't drink it all in one night.

[She's also kind of worried since she saw him go into the dairy, and wants to make sure he's okay.]

[Tsubaki has a couple of giant pink boxes stacked up in her hands. If she sees a familiar face, or someone asks about said boxes, the will receive a hand made doughnut. She hopes they help people brighten up after that radio announcement]

[Spiderman's Chemistry Class]

[With all the talk of doughnuts, she figured she might as well make extra ones to take in to class since she was making some as an apology to Tony. So, before class starts, she will be giving out doughnuts to her classmates, and teacher, as long as he doesn't already have one, that is.]

[She really hadn't thought Tony was very friendly from their first encounter. But she' sure a topic change is best.]

But are you all right after that explosion? I saw you go into the dairy, but I didn't see you leave it.

Not busy. They just think they're better.

[Really, The Captain is probably making some of this up in his own head.]

And they treat other superheroes like ☠☠☠☠.

I'm fine, I'm harder to blow up than that. It hurt though.

[Peter walks into the classroom, careful to be eating ABSOLUTELY NOTHING as he enters (finished his banana while hiding behind the building... probably went too far there, but whatever, it's already happened and it's his own private shame now). He hears some light conversation and notices Mart and Tsubaki talking to each other, with their backs turned. He shrugs and puts his bag down.]

[After Mart grabs a doughnut, she hears a bag being set down and turns around, the pink box still in hand.]

I brought some doughnuts if you want one Sir.

[Sin pauses beside Mart at her desk as he enters the room, glancing down longingly at the box, then back up to Tsubaki, making a face not unlike a hungry puppy.]

[Wow. She... she actually did bring donuts. Maybe this GODDAMN precocious band of students will actually be manageable today...! Either way, guess who officially earned herself the position of Teacher's Pet? THIS GURLL]

[He's later than usual coming down, but eventually her partner makes his way to the kitchen and takes a seat at the table. One quick look over of Tsubaki later...]

No, not tense, maybe a little tired. I couldn't sleep with the phone ringing off the hook last night. So, I thought I'd try making doughnuts.

[And then there was a Black☆Star crouched on the table in front of her, peering into her face]

[She sees him exercising and almost decides to write off his behavior earlier, but then she remembers what she had thought was chocolate on his lip, and his reaction to her going to wipe it off.]

Black☆Star, did you know people were suffering from previous injuries and illnesses because of that machine being broken? Is that why you were so worried this morning?

[She really doesn't want to have to pull the truth out of him, but she will if she has to.]

[He doesn't even break his rhythm as he answers - but he doesn't look up at her either]

What makes you think I was worried? It was just donuts.

[She sighs as she walks over and crouches down next to him so that she can look him in the eyes.]

Why did you keep asking if I was sick?

[That's a challenge, and if there's one thing he can't back down from, it's a good challenge. So Black☆Star stops to look her in the eyes]

You were acting weird. How was I supposed to know you were just worried about that idiot's booze?

[She holds his gaze, feeling a little disappointed that he would lie to her.]

But you asked if I was sick, and then what I thought was frosting. [She closes her eyes for a second to keep herself composed, then continues to stare him down.]
