First Cookie || Nothing Says Home Like Chocolate Chip

[The bed feels empty. That is his first thought upon waking, before his eyes open. His second thought is, I should make pancakes this morning. He rolls over and reaches out expecting to find his husband Chris or at least some warmth in the bed where he'd been only to find... The edge of the bed? He reaches out for Chris with his tail only to find... Nothing? He can't feel his tail! He sits up and looks behind himself. Nothing there!

Except pajamas.

He squeaks and scrambles out of the bed in this small, strange room. He opens the door and pads out into the living room and the kitchen...]

Where am I?!


B. [Action: High School, throughout the school day]

[There's another new student. At the moment, he's a little reserved, but he has a tupperware full of homemade chocolate chip cookies and he will offer one to anyone who approaches.]


C. [Action: About Town, afternoon]

[Ebony is a little lost trying to find his way home. He still has some cookies left in his tupperware if you would like to go talk to him.]

I think I'm lost.

Oh... The milk at the store isn't from the dairy?

Guess not. No one's ever died from it.

Oh. Okay. I can live with that.

[He visibly relaxes. Baking cookies is a big deal.]

Uhh.... Yep.

[awkward pause]

So you like baking, huh?

[swineprince]

I like making food, but I suppose baking is my specialty.

What's you're favorite kind of food?

Tofu.

[Bright grin. ...Long sigh.]

They don't have any here. I have to eat, like... grass, instead. And salad, I guess.

[swineprince]

They don't have tofu?! Aw, maaaan!

[thebeastwithout]

Don't worry. I don't think you can bake with tofu, anyway.

[swineprince]

You can, but I do more than just baking.

[thebeastwithout]

...I'll stick with my tofu dogs, thanks.

So, uh.

[???]

Where the heck are we now?

[swineprince]

[He looks around, completely unfamiliar with the area.]

I... I have no idea.

[thebeastwithout]

Aw, this is gonna take way too long. Here, just get on my back.

[The meaning of that is quickly explained when Ebony's company is suddenly a large, green pterodactyl.]

[swineprince]

[Eb gapes for a moment.]

Wha-wha-wha-- You can change your shape?!

[But still, he climbs aboard.]

[Beast Boy would say something except that... he can't. The pterodactyl will just nod a little, though it was kind of obvious.

Take-off is a little bumpy, but Beast Boy manages even with the extra weight.]

[He holds on tight,squeaking a bit in surprise.]

[thebeastwithout]

[The idea is that Ebony will direct him towards where he thinks is familiar. The pterodactyl sort of swoops around in circles for a bit.]

[swineprince]

It all looks so different from up here.

[He looks around wide-eyed, trying to find familiar landmarks.]

[The pterodactyl gives off a noise vaguely between a hawk's screech and a donkey's rasp. Beast Boy tilts his head around to blink at Ebony for a few moments.]

[swineprince]

[He's trying so hard not to squeal about flying, but it's difficult. It's so cool!]

Oh wait! I think that tree...

[He points to the left.]

[thebeastwithout]

[Beast Boy nods and dives! Whee! It is like a roller coaster of awesomeness and fun.]

[swineprince]

[Eb squeaks and then giggles, clinging tightly to him.]

[thebeastwithout]

[The roller coaster of fun ends with Beast Boy being unable to pull out of the dive in time, unceremoniously clipping a tree branch and tumbling from the sky. Oops.[

[swineprince]

[He squeaks again and holds on tighter, ducking his head into BB's back.]

[thebeastwithout]

[Ebony will find himself rapidly losing anything to hold onto as Beast Boy shifts back into a boy and drops like a flour sack.]

Ow.

[swineprince]

[He tumbles next to BB. He collects himself for a moment before he starts laughing.]
