2 ♕ The Hangover [Phone/Action]

[ A - 849 Goldberg Street ]

[ When the sirens began to ring, the only thing Tsunade could do was wake and dash downstairs. There, she encountered her package. Regains from Christmas. She was hesitant to open them during Christmas, given their lack of marking, but, now, without any clue of what would be inside, she decided it would be best if she could open them. Her first one? A picture of a bunch of paperwork from home. ]

What on Ea-[ BOOM

Within the seconds of Tsunade's statement the house seemingly explodes into paper filled chaos. Stacks and stacks of paperwork begin to torrent around the living room, and the living room door bursts wide open, with paper flying out of there by the forests. If you dare to take a look to see what the hell just happened, you'll get a Tsunade who's sitting down with paper up to her shoulders before her pet pig, Tonton, stark naked and without her expensive pearl necklace, pops out of the paper with a fierce oink! ]

[ B - Phone.  ]

Ah, this is probably the worst hangover I ever had. [ Her voice sounds haggard and raspy. She sounds exhausted and weakened by all accounts. ] I can't even remember the last couple of days. What the hell did I drink....? [ She knows what really happened, but, she wants to synthesize as much information as possible and for that, she has to play dumb ] 

[ C - The Post Office ] 

[ With the realization that the paperwork had her entire life story and biography in it with the mysteriously missing parts filled in with her journal that has a day by day summary of her life, Tsunade realized it was time to go to the post office. On the way there, you see a very, veryold lady walking into the office. If you're in there, you know what happens. Tsunade finally made a trade and is, within a blink of an eye, transformed to her younger state.

If you're waiting outside out of curiosity, Tsunade emerges young and not wrinklyas ever. Her loyal pet pig is by her side.  ] 

Ah, Tonton, now that that's out of the way, let's get going. Oink!

[ D - Anywhere! ] 

[ There is a pig following you. Just a random pig. And no matter how much you try to shake it off, it just won't leave you alone. It'll continue to follow you down many streets, with its nose slammed into the ground like a police canine unit. Yep. She doesn't speak, she doesn't talk, she doesn't do anything but follow. ]

[ E - Olney's Tavern ]

[ Tsunade, with her trusty pet pig in her purse like Paris Hilton and chihuahuas, sits at the bar, wallet ready and eager. ]  All right, bartender, make some magic for me. This damn town took two weeks away from my memory, and, in return, I'd like to forget whatever the hell I've been doing from now until the 27th. One Long Island Iced Tea. By the gallon even, I don't give a damn.

[ Tsunade noticies but doesn't comment on it. She sort of misses her mansion too. ]

Well, I don't know. These houses supposedly have their down sides too.

[acuity]

[ 1st world problems?! the door's still half-open from when Platina wandered out in the morning, and she lets herself and Tsunade inside. ]

What would those be?

[ Tsunade walks in with her observing how similar it is to her home. ]

Well, sometimes the town locks you in here and forces you to deal with something horrific. Other times, hazmats will waltz in here and butcher you, light you on fire, or give you a burning poison. Sometimes they'll blow up your house entirely. Nothing in this town is ever stable.

[acuity]

[ ... she pauses in the middle of rifling through a desk for spare paper, but then continues, frowning. ]

And... I'll have to survive something dangerous like that, before I'm allowed to recover my pokemon and defend myself?

[godaime]

Well, no. From what I gathered, it could be more tame like the town editing your memories to think you're really in love with someone, or something as mundane as arguing with someone who is believing with the town is selling. That's how I got my stuff back from home once. Well, that and drinking. The variables of what is applicable for receiving something from home from enduring a dangerous incident from the town varies. Sometimes the town will do something and it won't even get you anything at all.

And if you die, you're always revived the next day or eventually. So, in that case, there isn't much to fear though surviving and living through whatever is always favorable.

[acuity]

A revival? That sounds a little unbelievable... but, it's better than the alternative. I'll try my best.

[ oh, here's another notebook! she offers it to Tsunade, then r e c o n s i d e r s . . . ]

I couldn't believe it either, but just about everyone I met in this town affirmed it for me. So there you go.

[ Tsunade shrugs and opens the notebook to the exact page previously (it should be somewhere linked in the above thread) and passes it to Platina. ]

Fine, fine. I don't mind. Feel free to copy all of it, and thank you for your future assistance. If you're interested in joining a Defense Association - where they protect people in times of danger in the town, just call me or a man named Caesar and we'll take care of it.

I'll consider that, if I get my pokemon back... I'm not sure if I can be much help alone.

[ working as a professor's aide gives Plat pretty decent speedwriting skills, and she finishes copying quickly. well, she can always brush up on the details and shorthand later! she returns Tsunade's notebook with a small grin 8) ]

They'll probably get along with Tonton, too. I think they would like having a non-pokemon friend!

That's nonsense. What if you discover something important? Pick up a skill? Can manage finances and tax returns well? There's something for everyone to contribute, even if it's not flashy.

[ She is impressed by your speed writing! She senses a new apprenticeship in the near future! ]

Hm? That'd be lovely! Even at home Tonton didn't have much animal friends aside from Katsuyu and a tracker dog that came by every now and again. She'd love some new friends, wouldn't she? [ Tonton looks up and oinks as happily as possible! ]

[acuity]

That's true... and, I would like to help, but...

[ it's kinda a lot to take in for a newcomer, especially one who's been pampered by butlers and bodyguards all her life. she is 12 and what is this! even if she's been on her own before, she at least had her pokemon. she hates not looking like a confident, classy lady but even ladies are insecure sometimes :( ]

I'll definitely think about it. Maybe after a few days, while I explore Mayfield more.

[ She understands ): If Tsunade was overwhelmed during her first day when she leads an entire village and has been to war at least twice, she can't imagine how confused a twelve year old girl must be. ]

I'll keep that in mind. For now, I suppose... if I am going to investigate, I should start with this house...

[ the way she looks around with a sigh sure shows her enthusiasm for that. still, she bows again because even if she is going to live like a commoner she is still a lady at heart >8| ]

I'd get myself familiarized with the home and the layout. It's mostly the same, but I've heard some interesting stuff about it anyways. Like, if you accidentally destroy it or significantly damage it, it regenerates over night as if nothing happened. [ She shrugs. She can sympathize going from rags to riches but then again that was the least of her worries when this was Mayfield. ]

I'm glad you do.

Really?... I might try that. And other experiments, just to be sure.

[ this might be a dangerous place to scratch a research itch but she can't really help it! ]

Of course! And...

[ ... just realizes she has no idea what the phone number of her own house is sob. and yes, youngster joey in mayfield would be the most amazing. ]

[ She laughs.

I want to app a factory head for all of the pokemon they own. MY SHALLOW REASONS ARE SO SHALLOW. ]

Haha, it's quite all right! Please do! Are you all right enough for me to leave you alone for now? [ She does have to get her shopping done. ]

[ more like best reason is best! Platina nods and opens the door, reaching down to pat Tonton a last time :> ]

[ Tonton appreciatively oinks as Tsunade begins to walk outside. She doesn't turn to Platina to address her. ]

We probably will. Mayfield always makes everyone run into each other somehow. Have a nice day. If you need anything, feel free to call me or the hospital. I've been working there during the day and sometimes pulling an extra shift if it's really busy.
