Genius Prince 15

[Action A; just outside Mayfield hospital; 31st Jan; morning]
[ He's not too fond of hospitals (but he likes dentists even less). He's more into putting others in them after all. But yeah, here he is, on the left side of the doors to the hospital. He hasn't left yet, but he will. Soon. In a minute. ]

[Action B; 1488 Kramden Road]
[ He's just gonna rest on the bed for a while. Get some sleep, at least a little.

He only gets as far as the couch in the livingroom though, but that's good enough. ]

Ugh...

[Action C; The park; late afternoon to evening.]
[ Though staying put would probably be the best thing for him to do right now, he can't. He's up and about again. Walking around and... doing his best to concentate on that rather than the pain numbing his hands.

Now you'll find him either
1) walking around quite aimlessly
2) Sitting on a bench and seemingly 'staring' at the ground
3) sitting on the ground, leaning his back against a tree. 'Staring' at his feet this time though. Considering his bangs, you won't tell that there's no eyes there anymore. ]

(ooc: yep, the Prince's turn to be in pain, ey? See what's been done to him, here. )

[ Bel lets out a sigh, and feels himself relax a bit. Since the operation, he had been tense all the time so he hadn't even noticed just how tense he had been.

He's quite surprised when Niou sort of, well, admits that. He tilts his head up a bit, as if looking at Niou. ] Really?

[ Normally he would have teased Niou for that by now. And even in his ears, he's saying 'really' too much.]

[ This is where he should make some witty remark. Insert a sarcastic quip that's laced with plenty of snark. It's what he would normally do. But instead, he finds himself saying something much simpler. ]

... Yeah. I really would.

[ A quick grin. ] If, yanno, you asked nicely.

[ Being terribly honest, aren't you?

A small smile plays on Bel's lips. If Niou's looking, he might even notice. ]

We'll see if I'm nice enough then. [ Is he even able to be that? ]

[ Yes, he sees that, and it makes him smirk as he twirls a lock of Bel's hair around his finger. ] Yeah. Guess we'll see.

[ Bel snuggles up a bit closer to Niou. Thinks for a moment that he's being more snuggly than Mink usually is, oddly enough. And as long as Niou keeps away from his bangs, he'll continue to relax like this. ]

Mhmm.

[ He's glad to see Bel relaxing a bit. He's not used to seeing the other so... tense. He also finds it strange that he even cares, considering he's only ever cared for himself and his team. ]

[ He's not used to being tense, either. Even in an intense battle, he's usually relaxed. It's harder to fight if you're all tense.

And again he wishes he still had his eyes, so he could see the other. ]

[ He glances down at Bel's hands again, barely hiding a frown. His hand pauses momentarily in the other's hair. ]

Did they have you doped up on meds when they did that, or not?

Mm, I was awake. Well, drugged, but still.

[ A slow exhale. ] And all because those morons blew up the machine in the dairy.

Yeah, that wasn't very smart. [ He sighs. ]

Well, I did poke a knife at the thing, but it bounced off the field around it. Got droned cuz of it though.

[ A frown. ] I called Ace-kun a friend.

I didn't even go near it. Shit goes wrong, I try to stay out of it. [ Especially with Yagyuu gone. Now when everything goes to Hell, he doesn't even really have anyone to lean on. ]

... Ace-kun?

I was curious though. Can't keep away from things that might be dangerous. [ Now there, you can lean against Bel here. Like he's doing (literally) with you right now. ]

Yeah, he's Vongola Decimo's cloud guardian. Varia's a part of Vongola, so we're in the same family. But he's with Decimo, we're with Nono. I only listen to Boss though.

You gettin' yourself into dangerous situations? Go figure. [ Bel's the only person he even remotely leans on in this godforsaken town, even if it's in very subtle ways. ]

... Cloud guardian. [ What were these worlds that sounded like something he needed to be apart of? And to think he's been playing tennis for the past three years.

Yeah. They've got guardians for all seven flames. Mist is usually illusionists. [ Yeah, he's totally missing out. Mafia-wars and all that. ]

All fun and games until someone gets killed. [ Niou's either very subtle, or very obvious. Never in between. ]

... Huh. Sounds like somethin' you'd read in a manga or some shit.

Until now I'm the one who's done the killing. [ And in his world, the only one who refused to stay dead was his brother. Why'd he have to come live again after he'd finally killed him? ]

Maybe? I haven't read much manga, but maybe a bit. The fights between mafia can get quite amazing. [ Now, the fight between himself and Gokudera, that had been fun. ]

I guess you have a point there. All fun and games for everybody else until you kill them. Better?

[ He chuckles. ] Can you imagine that every team on the tennis circuit back at home is like its own little mafia?

[ Quite easy to notice that he's in a much better mood now, isn't it? Thank you very much, Niou. ]

[ Niou's happy that he's happy. Well, happier, at least. ]

Oh, yeah. [ He lets out a chuckle. ] The best. The strongest. The Child of God, even.

[ Yeah, he's as happy as he can get in his current state. ]

Ooooooh? The child of God? That's special~ Titles are a lot of fun.

Titles are tons of fun. The Child of God, the Emperor, the Master, the Trickster, the Gentleman... the tennis circuit has a lot of them.

You've got an emperor too? We've got a Sword Emperor and Prince the Ripper among others. Guess which one's me~
