[ He's just gonna rest on the bed for a while. Get some sleep, at least a little.

He only gets as far as the couch in the livingroom though, but that's good enough. ]

[Action C; The park; late afternoon to evening.]
[ Though staying put would probably be the best thing for him to do right now, he can't. He's up and about again. Walking around and... doing his best to concentate on that rather than the pain numbing his hands.

Now you'll find him either
1) walking around quite aimlessly
2) Sitting on a bench and seemingly 'staring' at the ground
3) sitting on the ground, leaning his back against a tree. 'Staring' at his feet this time though. Considering his bangs, you won't tell that there's no eyes there anymore. ]

[ Even the tail's scary? (But it's fluffy) The scary thing is probably letting Bel get used to having knives on his hands. Now that could get dangerous.

And she's not horrible. Just scared, like many would be in a situation like this. ]

I've never made cupcakes before. [ Well, he had never baked or cooked at all, so it was all the same. ] You know how to make them?

[ This time he's actually smiling. ] Bianco Natale showed me how you normally cut class. Never really been to school before I got here, so I hadn't done that before.

Mm, I do! I made a few for my birthday... and for Niou-kun's birthday too. I could try to teach you... maybe Rin-kun would want to help.

[ It's good to hear him smiling. Madoka knows she's already asking too much by hoping he'll smile. ] A friend of yours...? I-I've never cut class myself... that's the sort of thing Mama would scold me for b-but... but, if it's something you'd want to do to celebrate, I-I'd do my best...

Yeah, they taste good, so they're probably fun to make.

[ He has to consider that. Is Niou a friend? He might be. But seriously, he hasn't really called anyone his friend before. The others in Varia was, sort of. But them, he fought with, threatened and aimed to kill (besides Boss) in the past. But he hadn't done that to Niou. He'd have to think about that some more first. ]

I'm not sure. [ He admitted that. ] Dunno his name or anything, but calling him that suits him. And my birthday was last month, so if you wanna celebrate something like that you'll have to hang around 'til next Christmas.

I-I missed it? I'm sorry, that was awful of me--!!! [ No really, Madoka feels as bad about that as she does about his hands. ] Well, maybe... a late celebration is better than nothing, so..! I'll make you birthday cupcakes next!

Not really, since you didn't know about it. [ Her reaction makes him laugh though. ] But sure, if you want to.

I do! I really do... definitely, when it's all okay again, I'll definitely celebrate...

She really hopes that time is soon... but until then, even if this is a lie, she'll continue to try to have a normal conversation. ]

You'll have to tell me what type of cupcakes you like... and how I should decorate them.

Dunno if I've got any special type I like better. Frosting tastes good though, so use lots of it.
