[ When Toothless wakes up, it doesn't take him long to realize he's not in Berk anymore. Also, there's a doghouse on his back.

What.

Scrambling up, the doghouse topples over, and Toothless turns around in circles. First thing's first, he's going to investigate.

So, household. There's a dragon pressing his face against your windows.

B. Action | John Doe Park

[ Eventually, Toothless gets tired of the house, and decides to search for Hiccup. He finds himself at the park, which is the only place in town, it seems, that has an acceptable amount of room to roam.

Don't mind this slightly agitated dragon tromping around. He's not usually this grumpy, promise. ]

[hasteeth]

[ Rude. He has a name.

Toothless stops short just a few feet away and promptly sits down, tilting his head. ]

[gezellig]

[He's a little surprised at that, but he won't stop holding his bunny closely.]

So you listen?

[hasteeth]

[ Well, duh. Rolling his eyes here.

Of course he listens. He has ears. See! He'll wiggle them for you! ]

[gezellig]

[Fine then, no need to get moody.]

Are you going to eat my bunny, dragon?

[He will end you. Or try.]

[hasteeth]

[ Nope! He likes fish, not bunnies.

He opens his mouth. Look, no teeth!

Well. No teeth at the moment, anyway. ]

[gezellig]

[Yeah all Holland sees is an open dragon mouth.

Dragon he will fight you. But after a moment, since the dragon hasn't done anything yet, he'll walk a bit closer with his bunny.]

This is Poffertje. He's my favorite rabbit. Don't eat him.

[hasteeth]

[ Eat him? THAT WOULD BE TERRIBLE. Toothless doesn't eat cute little bunnies.

He will, though, stretch his neck further to get a better look. ]

[gezellig]

[After a moment, Holland will hold Poffertje up to the dragon. The rabbit, for the most part, seems mostly unconcerned, his nose wiggling in curiousity as he tries to sniff the new creature.]

. . . do you belong to someone?

[He had to, he definitely wasn't something Mayfield would come up with.]

[hasteeth]

[ Toothless leans forward just a tiny bit more to get a good sniff of Poffertje. It's a good thing Holland asks that question when he does, otherwise Toothless might've licked him. Then it would've been blech, rabbit hair.

He focuses on Holland now, though, and makes a nodding motion. ]

[gezellig]

[He'll tuck the bunny back where he's comfortable, in the crook of his arm.]

Why'd they leave you in the park?

[After a moment, he'll hold his hand up to the dragon's nose, not touching it yet but letting Toothless get a sniff of him as well.]

[hasteeth]

[ Hiccup didn't leave him in the park! Toothless just likes the park.

He leans forward to sniff his hand. He has learned that hands are not for slapping with his tail. They are for nuzzling. So he'll lean forward and press his nose to Holland's hand briefly before pulling back.

Then he looks around the park, from the sky, to the trees, to the pond. This is his way of saying 'who wouldn't want to be in all this open space?' ]

[gezellig]

[Holland will move slightly over to a bench and sit down, still watching Toothless. Somehow, he seems to get it. He always did like animals and plants more than a lot of people he knew.]

It is a nice park.

. . . I guess you don't really talk though, hm?

[He'll let Poffertje hop around the grass, still wearing his bunny harness and leash.]

[hasteeth]

[ Nope, no words from this dragon.

If he could kanyeshrug, he would.

But since he can't, he'll just flop down on the grass on his stomach and inch closer to the bunny. ]

[gezellig]

[He still wasn't sure why some animals talked here, and some didn't. He was still half-waiting for the moment his rabbit could talk to him.

Holland will watch, pretty unconcerned. Poffertje also doesn't seem terribly concerned, walking up to one of Toothless' feet and sniffing a claw.]

[hasteeth]

[ Toothless dips his head down to sniff the top of Poffertje's head. And then lick it. ]

[gezellig]

[Poffertje seems to stop and wiggle his nose, then he hops away from the dragon a little and starts to groom. Holland will watch, a bit more attentive but still not concerned.]

Are there a lot of dragons where you're from?

[hasteeth]

[ Holland effectively grabs Toothless's attention again. He flicks his head in a nodding motion. There sure are a lot of dragons where he's from. Not all of them are as awesome as he is, but still. ]

[gezellig]

Are there people too? Or just dragons?

[The idea is a little amusing to him. A world full of nothing but dragons. . .]

[hasteeth]

[ People, too! Vikings, as a matter of fact. He tries to imitate a viking, but probably just ends up looking ridiculous. ]

[gezellig]

. . .

[Yeah, he does look ridiculous. Holland will watch, but then he'll realize he'd better stick to yes and no questions.]

So your world has people. . . that's what you're saying?

[hasteeth]

[ Toothless nods, even though he has the feeling that Holland didn't quite get what he was trying to say. ]

So is the person you belong to here in town, dragon?

[He'll toe at the grass some near his rabbit, and Poffertje immediately starts nibbling some clover.]

[hasteeth]

[ Another nod as he drags his gaze away from Holland and toward the rabbit again. ]

[gezellig]

Oh, you know?

You're sure you don't want to come home with me?

[He can imagine Canada's face. ]

[hasteeth]

[ ... Wait.

Waaaaaaait.

Is this dragon-napping? Is that even a thing?

Here, have this look. He might go for fish. ]
