Well then, introductions, I suppose. Best as I can manage, at least. My name is Remus, and I assure you that I am a completely uninteresting human being. So uninteresting, I can't rightly think how to introduce myself, apparently.

[Remus is silent for a moment or two, before he relents with a sigh.]

[Remus is still very much learning his way around this place, and it takes him a little longer to navigate to the proper street. Honestly, everything looks the same in this place; finding Sirius' house yesterday proved to be similarly frustrating. How in Merlin's name did anyone find their way around here?

But a good ten minutes later, he's awkwardly sauntering across the front lawn, one hand shoved in his pocket, the other self-consciously prodding at the back of his jaw. Because really, it still just feels odd not to have those scars on his face.]

[And lo behold, there is the tall bitch on the steps: six and a half feet of way too much hair and way too few clothes. She puts out whatever she was smoking on the step next to her and stands up to greet him. It definitely wasn't tobacco.]

Yes, well. I have only just gotten here. Might have been faster for you to come find me, you know.

[Oh gillyweed, he most certainly does not miss you. You make him babble so. Annie, why aren't you sharing?

Remus simply stares up at her for a moment -- because yes, she is most certainly taller than him -- and then offers a slight smile.]

I suppose I believe you now.

Ugh, I got better shit to do. [Like thinking up new ways to kill her drone husband. And getting wasted. Yeah.] Besides, it's a learning experience! Give it a few months and you'll be walking these streets like a fucking champ.

[she snorts] Well, that's fucking easy. The last douchebag who didn't believe me made me change in front of him. Then he pet my head, fucking perv.

[Remus gives her an appraising look, before making his way to the porch and very pointedly flopping down on the front step.]

Then you can change at will? And it's not painful?

Duh! Only babies can't, and even then they only turn into normal wolves and shit. If you can't handle your shit after age ten, there's something fucking wrong with you.

[She took sits on the porch, taking an actual cigarette out of her pocket and lighting up.]

I had a brother like that. You just sorta send them away to, like, werewolf boot camp until they can function like a normal fucking person.

[No, Remus is not taking offense. Just because things work that way where she's from, doesn't mean his own mechanisms are the same. Clearly, they're not. Clearly.

Still, that has Remus staring wistfully into the middle-distance for a few moments. He almost has a skill for looking pensive.]

[He's totally paying attention! He even looks vaguely insulted by the flick to his parietal bone. Remus narrows his eyes up at her.]
