Well then, introductions, I suppose. Best as I can manage, at least. My name is Remus, and I assure you that I am a completely uninteresting human being. So uninteresting, I can't rightly think how to introduce myself, apparently.

[Remus has to think for a moment before he can place that name. He doesn't pay much attention to Slytherins, much less those in the upper classes.]

[He doesn't sound... entirely thrilled]

[There's a knowing chuckle on the other end of the line. Remus doesn't know much about the Malfoys, other than the fact that Lucius had been a Slytherin. But for some people, that was all that need be known.]

Well, be that as it may, I do hope you've been able to put aside any differences, for the sake of survival.

We're trying. It's just... very strange. He's even ahead of me, in time, and I think... something happens.
