8 (Welcome Back)
[Action A - 460 Stone Street, morning - locked to housemates]
[Kono's back in Mayfield - and she shoots up in bed, gasping for air. She's obviously disoriented, eyes darting around the room wildly as she tries to control her panic. She was just drowning, and now she's in bed?
It won't take her long to make the horrible realization that she's back in Mayfield. Somehow, that seems worse than drowning.
This house doesn't seem exactly the same as she remembers, so she's going to look around a bit. She has a shell-shocked expression on her face. How can she be back?]
[Action B - John Doe Park, early afternoon]
[Funny how things repeat themselves. Kono found herself sitting on this same bench the day she first arrived in Mayfield. She's sitting, brooding and slumped down. Feel free to stop to talk to her or try to cheer her up. She'll talk if you make the effort.]
[Phone]
This is Kono. Back again, apparently. How much has happened since I was gone? Has anybody figured out anything else about how Mayfield works?
Please tell me there weren't any more zombies.

Re: B
Part of me is glad to see you, but then part of me thinks it sucks you're still here. Does that make sense?
Re: B
Wait, what do you mean "still here"? Of course I am, I never left.
Re: B
And no, nothing ever makes sense here.
Re: B
....I should probably put you down now.
Re: B
What? What happened while I was gone?
Re: B
I... How long were you... Wait, how did you get OUT?! Are you sure? You weren't in a... Brain... coma? That's a thing, right?
Re: B
A year went by. I'd almost convinced myself that none of this had ever happened, but... I guess it did. Unless I'm having the same nightmare all over again.
[Kono shakes her head as if to clear it.] I just. I don't know what happened.
Re: B
Re: B
[Kono stands quietly for a moment before continuing. She can't imagine what that must have been like for Peter.]
Even if I had done something, it would've been my own fault, though. Not yours. And to be honest, I probably wouldn't have done anything without taking you with me for backup.
Re: B
Still, it's a massive understatement to say I missed you and am glad to see you okay.
[More... than he... expected to, to be honest. He looks away, embarrassed and surprised.]
Re: B
I missed you too. I mean, I'd half convinced myself that you weren't even real, like the rest of this place. But you're the first person here who made Mayfield bearable.
[With that, her smile fades and she lets out a small sigh.]
I'm sorry you had to deal with this place by yourself, Peter. Even for just a little while.
Re: B
Re: B
Guess we're both slacking. Usually Five-0 has the bad guy arrested by now. Or shot.
So, where were you swinging to?
Re: B
[Yep. Spidey just... lamely sang to the tune of Ridin' Dirty (or White and Nerdy]
Re: B
Yeah, I see all them bad guys running, brah.
[She looks around the park as if looking for those bad guys.]
Re: B
Re: B
Hey, do you still live on Stone Street?
Re: B
Re: B
I'm still on Stone Street, but a different house. I honestly didn't pay all that much attention this morning...
