POISON JOKE - WARNING: NAKED CADE!

((WARNING: At some point during a thread here, Cade will touch the poison joke flower. It will make all of the clothes Cade is wearing or puts on turn invisible, though only to the eyes of all adult characters other than Cade! So, while Cade, children, drones, etc. will all see him as normal, any adult character will see him as naked.))

A. The Flower Shop
[Cade has returned to the flower shop with a box of delicious pastries to try and make amends for his behavior the other day. While he is there, he will spot a strange blue flower that somehow managed to get into one of the bouquets...]

B. John Doe Park
[Cade is now under the curse of the poison joke, but completely unaware of it, walking about apparently naked to the eyes of all adult characters. He decides that since he is not getting to do much adventuring here in Mayfield, he better keep in shape! So, Cade heads over to the park to do some stretches and warmups first. He can be seen doing standing hamstring stretches, hip adductor stretches, jumping jacks, etc.

C. Around Mayfield
[Cade, still oblivious to the Poison Joke, can be seen jogging around town, really working up a sweat. He may smile and wave at you as he goes by.]

[Cade smiles broadly and gets over excited.]

"I will protect you until my death, if need be!"

[She shakes her head.]

Even if I was going to kill you afterward?

[Cade looks a bit startled, but then just smiles warmly.]

"I have faith you would not betray me so."

Why do you have so much faith in me, you hardly know me.

[Cade blinks twice, then looks at you as if this was a silly question.]

"I barely know anyone here. I have to believe in someone.
Besides..."

[Cade assumes a more boisterous posture. You've set of his ham reflex again.]

"...I am a paladin of Idamra! All of my order are blessed with the ability to see the good and evil in the souls of others with but a look! And you, Olivier Mira Armstrong..."

[Cade points at you dramatically. It looks very silly.]
"... I can see that you are a proud woman of great honor! And goodness! And strength and beauty!

TRULY YOU ARE A WOMAN WORTHY OF THE GREATEST DEVOTION! WHY SHOULDN'T I PUT MY FAITH IN YOU!?"

[Cade huffs and puffs, a bit winded from his hammy escapade. While paladins can see the evil and goodness in the souls of others, that ability disappeared upon Cade's arrival in Mayfield. He is mainly going off gut feeling and wishful thinking here.]

[Halfway through his speech, she walks away and finds some wax to plug her ears up with. Once his mouth stops moving she nods.]

We should probably go now.

[You can't make out what Cade says, but he appears to be agreeing cheerfully with you.]

[It's just occurred to her that she is going to be escorted by a naked man. Well, the other option is to flounce him through the house, and what would her housemates think? Well, Nox was the only one she had to worry about. Emmett and Fran would believe her.]

Oh, not the front, I have a passageway to my house. The entrance is behind the cooler under all the boxes of vases.

[You can't hear what Cade says in response, but he seems to be very excited about the prospect of a secret passage.]

((Not sure how far this is going to be RPed, but just remember that if Cade does enter the house and is seen by housemates, he will appear fully clothed to Emmett and Fran, but naked to Nox.))

[She notes the excitement on his face, and almost regrets telling him about it, but no use in having regrets now, it's done and over with. She takes to moving the boxes of vases and pulls up on the door, not wanting to see a naked man working at it.]

((She'd much rather explain it away to Nox rather than the whole town.))
