[913 Bilko Boulevard - Friday, early morning!]
[Anyone living in or around 913 Bilko Boulevard will notice it.  Indeed, it will be very hard to overlook what the little Kappa has been up to!

The car that was sitting in front of 913 Bilko Boulevard the night before is gone, it's parts scattered haphazardly.  Nitori is sitting crosslegged on the lawn, with a few tools scattered around her. She looks very invested on her work, with her tongue pressed firmly between her lips.

... w-well, she was planning on putting it all back together again!!]

[Elementary School - Friday]
[Unfortunately Nitori still has to go to school.  In fact, after her fiasco with the - y-yeah - she is all but shoved out the metaphorical door and out on her way.  Which is fine with her!  A place where the humans go to learn?  How interesting!

... However, it appears that her family has neglected to tell her where the high school is, and she couldn't be bothered to ask for directions.  But that's okay because she's found the Elementary School!   That's good enough - right?  It's elementary after all!  Get it?  Elementary?  Heheh - 

Nitori wanders the hallways nervously, eyes darting around at all the humans (most of whom are much smaller than her - odd).  She has a dress on that clashes with her bright blue hair, a hand-me-down bookbag in one hand and a dingy baseball cap firmly place over her head.  

She keeps rumbling around until, eventually, she has to stop someone.   Because... she has no idea what she's supposed to do?]

... Excuse me - [Dramatically flings book bag over shoulder.]  I was told that this is where the humans go to learn, so if you could kindly point me to my sensei, it will be much appreciated.

[Around Town - Weekend]
[ Ever get the feeling that someone - or something - is watching you?  

Don't worry, that's just Nitori.  Watching you.  Why is she watching you?  Because you're interesting to watch, that's why.

Yeah, time works weird here. It's kind of like a bubble where everything outside of it stops once you get here. So I know you saw me, but I've been here for a while. Patchy's been here for two years and I remember seeing her just days before I got here. It's... weird.

... Of course. And to think, I was beginning to understand this place. Geh, out of all the oddities I've heard, this is by far the most mind-boggling.

Yeah... Come on inside. I've got the best baker in the Outside World as my 'mother' person. We've got some cookies she made this morning.

[ushering inside]

So, how are you adjusting to the being human thing?

[cucumbers]

[ Blushing. ]

O-Oh, w-well if it's not too much trouble. I guess I could step in for just a moment.

[ Nitori pouts. Don't remind her Marisa. ]

It's quite confusing, and very annoying! Those 'Drones' don't believe me whenever I tell them that I'm really a kappa! They just laugh!

[Inside there are indeed cookies to sit at the table and eat. Nitori can help herself since Marisa pulls a plate to the table with them.]

Yeah... they're never gonna believe you, ze. Even when the town give you your youkai status again. Might as well try not to let it bother you too much.

[ While Marisa told her to help herself, Nitori hesitates before actually taking any. ]

Someone told me that they're more like robots than actual humans. I can see that much, though it's still very odd being called a human.

[ Gently places a cookie in the middle of the plate. There we go. ]

So who are you living with now? You said that you had a baker living here, right?

I guess robots is a good way to put them, but we can get programmed like that too sometimes.

I'm living with a bunch of non-drone people. I've got a dangerous alien asshole for a 'father' named Spades. 'Mom' is a nagging battle nun that can bake and cook really good called Ciel. I got two 'sisters'. Mion, who's about my age that likes to play games, and Mami - a little younger, that's some kind of magic girl.

Not a bad house, really. Except for Stabdad, but now that I have most of my magic back, he's not so scary anymore.

Programmed? What do you mean exactly? We aren't actually robots, are we?

Ohh, an alien you say? How interesting! It appears that you have a pretty big family! Not like me. Mine is quite dull in comparison - certainly no aliens in there. Well, other than Nall. But they consider Nall as a pet! It's quite demeaning!

No, no, we're not robots, but it's a magic similar to what a program does to a robot that affects our mind.

What's your address?

[cucumbers]

Ahh! That doesn't make much sense... I suppose that's why no one's found a way to resist it!

Which street? [ She blinks, tilting her head. ] 913 Bilko - Boulevard? I think that's what it was.

[Marisa is writing that address down and sticks it with a magnet to the fridge.]

The worst part is, when you try to break the spell or the barrier, this place really screws you over. I kinda, uh, fried some of my memories trying...

[cucumbers]

Y-You lost some of your memories? I've never heard of such a thing!

[ Nitori flushes and leans forward in her seat. She certainly hopes none of the memories involve her! ]

Do you have any idea of what was lost?

The magics here make little sense, ze.

...I'm not sure what all was lost. I have a hard time remembering addresses here. I lost the memory of a private moment with my girlfriend. Some things from the Human Village are fuzzy. It just seems like a bunch of random things.

[cucumbers]

[ Nitori listens. Her cheeks flush, but she gives a nod. ]

I-I see. Pretty small details I guess. At least the memory loss could be worse? At least now I know that I should be more careful!

Yeah. And never go to the Post Office or drink the milk that gets delivered every day.

[cucumbers]

... The post office? I've heard of those, but I don't think I would ever use one. But don't drink the milk? Why?

[Marisa is going to trust that Nitori will listen to her, unlike Reimu, and not harp on the Post Office.]

The milk is poisoned and will kill you.

[cucumbers]

... T-That's quite evil!

Does the town do things like that often?

Yup. And death isn't permanent, but there are side effects to dying here. So don't.

[cucumbers]

[ Nitori gulps. Her not!Family has told her about that before, but it's still a shock. ]

No problem! I have no plans on dying anyway! Yes, that's the last thing I plan on doing!
