[Action - 1125 Taylor]

[Early in the morning, before school, Marisa takes the time to place a multilayer ward about her residence and its yard. It has three specific wards, powerful wards - one each to bar The Major, Bazett, and any troll with tyrian purple blood from the property. There is also a subtler ward cast that will target any non-resident (Merem isn't affected) that tries to significantly harm another while on the property through a combination binding/paralyzing effect. Those with a strong enough magic ability could break the wards, but the general feeling about them is that it would be a bad idea with how well they are woven.

The casting can easily be felt by anyone with the slightest bit of magical sensing.]

[Action - School]

[Marisa is sitting in the cafeteria, completely ignoring her yummy homemade lunch, and seems to be working on a map of sorts. Her brow furrows as she wads up the paper and throws it at the nearby garbage can - missing it - and starts over again. She's going to end up going through a lot of paper at this rate.]

[Phone]

So... I can't remember where everyone lives. Like the addresses and how to get to some place. [It pains her to have to admit this.] I need you all, if you're my friends or allies or just people I like to bug - especially everyone from Gensokyo - to remind me.

[Rin scratched her head.] I dunno, I just get this weird tingling feeling near your house, so I figured you were up to something.

Ah. [She hops down off the roof like it's nothing to jump down from two stories up.]

You must have magic potential then, ze.

Really? [She used magic in her abilities, but to actually have magic potential? For real?]

I never thought about it like that. I mean, I've got some of my abilities back but I didn't think it would make me able to do anything else beyond just the Rouge Fire.

Hold on, hold on, hold on, ze. What abilities?

[Rin rubbed her head.] It's kind of hard to explain so um, here, I'll show you.

[And she stuck her arms out in front of herself as the top of her watch-like device flipped open.] Precure Metamorphose!

[In a flurry of butterflies, Rin stood there, dressed in a off-white uniform with red butterfly accents.] The Red flame of passion, Cure Rouge!

[Marisa watches and then her eyes go wide.]

Woah... They are real.

Ah heh, well as you can see, I can transform into a Precure, which is a legendary warrior. I've only got one magical ability though, and strength, speed and stamina.

[Marisa now feels the need to touch Rin to make sure she's real, tugging lightly at ruffles and her hair ornament and all that.]

You're a magical girl. That's so cool.

[Rin blushed at that, but grinned.]

Really? Thanks for saying so! Back home no one knows who I am as Cure Rouge so it's nice here that I can talk about it here.

Ah... magical girls and their secret identities. I only thought they existed in manga I borrowed from Kourin or Meiling.

Same here. I thought it was just a Toei thing back home for their shows until Coco and Nuts showed up in our lives. Nozomi's one too, my friend from home who's here and I heard there's a third Precure in town.

So is 'Precure' like the official name for magical girls or is that just your kind of magical girl?

I asked Coco about that. Apparently it's the name of the magical girls back home, since there's legends of Precure in all of the fairy worlds. There's five of us back home, myself, Dream, Mint, Lemonade and Aqua.

So which one is Nozomi?

Dream. I suppose in a way she's our leader. At the least I'd follow her and she's helped everyone else get their powers.

Gotcha. So what evil overlord is trying to take over the world? Well, your world.

[She's very enthralled here. It's like a book coming to life! Be forewarned; she may drag Rin to see her girlfriend.]

A group called Nightmare. They're trying to get the Dream Collet, because once you fill it with 55 pinkies, you can make a wish. And apparently this wish is strong enough to change the world.

Like a little fairy, from the Palmir Kingdom. The kingdom where Coco and Nuts came from. It was destroyed by Nightmare previously, so they came to the human world to get help.

Do you think there are any pinkies here? If so, we're totally going to catch them. Oh, wait until I tell Patchy!

Hmm... I haven't seen one, but it IS possible. I'm not entirely sure but they are about this big [and she made a small circle with her hands] and they're really hard to find.

As for the Dream Collet, we don't have it yet. But I don't know if we could get it. But! If we do, then it's a possibility that the Pinkies are here too. And can be caught.

If we see any, I can trap 'em [and stick them in a jar] until the Dream thing shows up. Maybe you'll regain it.

So, so, so, what is your magical girl thing? You know - your element or symbolism or whatever you represent.

With any luck, we can yeah! Normally our Pinky Catches, these watch-like transformation items do the trick but I can't exactly test them out right now.

Ah, the team motif is butterflies but we also have personalized elements. Mine is fire, even though I only have one attack right now.

Fire and butterflies. Huh. Weird combination.

What's your fire attack? You can, like, aim at the mailbox if you need something to target.
