[Action - 1125 Taylor]

[Early in the morning, before school, Marisa takes the time to place a multilayer ward about her residence and its yard. It has three specific wards, powerful wards - one each to bar The Major, Bazett, and any troll with tyrian purple blood from the property. There is also a subtler ward cast that will target any non-resident (Merem isn't affected) that tries to significantly harm another while on the property through a combination binding/paralyzing effect. Those with a strong enough magic ability could break the wards, but the general feeling about them is that it would be a bad idea with how well they are woven.

The casting can easily be felt by anyone with the slightest bit of magical sensing.]

[Action - School]

[Marisa is sitting in the cafeteria, completely ignoring her yummy homemade lunch, and seems to be working on a map of sorts. Her brow furrows as she wads up the paper and throws it at the nearby garbage can - missing it - and starts over again. She's going to end up going through a lot of paper at this rate.]

So... I can't remember where everyone lives. Like the addresses and how to get to some place. [It pains her to have to admit this.] I need you all, if you're my friends or allies or just people I like to bug - especially everyone from Gensokyo - to remind me.

So is 'Precure' like the official name for magical girls or is that just your kind of magical girl?

I asked Coco about that. Apparently it's the name of the magical girls back home, since there's legends of Precure in all of the fairy worlds. There's five of us back home, myself, Dream, Mint, Lemonade and Aqua.

So which one is Nozomi?

Dream. I suppose in a way she's our leader. At the least I'd follow her and she's helped everyone else get their powers.

Gotcha. So what evil overlord is trying to take over the world? Well, your world.

[She's very enthralled here. It's like a book coming to life! Be forewarned; she may drag Rin to see her girlfriend.]

A group called Nightmare. They're trying to get the Dream Collet, because once you fill it with 55 pinkies, you can make a wish. And apparently this wish is strong enough to change the world.

Like a little fairy, from the Palmir Kingdom. The kingdom where Coco and Nuts came from. It was destroyed by Nightmare previously, so they came to the human world to get help.

Hmm... I haven't seen one, but it IS possible. I'm not entirely sure but they are about this big [and she made a small circle with her hands] and they're really hard to find.

As for the Dream Collet, we don't have it yet. But I don't know if we could get it. But! If we do, then it's a possibility that the Pinkies are here too. And can be caught.

If we see any, I can trap 'em [and stick them in a jar] until the Dream thing shows up. Maybe you'll regain it.

So, so, so, what is your magical girl thing? You know - your element or symbolism or whatever you represent.

With any luck, we can yeah! Normally our Pinky Catches, these watch-like transformation items do the trick but I can't exactly test them out right now.

Ah, the team motif is butterflies but we also have personalized elements. Mine is fire, even though I only have one attack right now.

What's your fire attack? You can, like, aim at the mailbox if you need something to target.

[Stepping to the side, she crossed her arms as energy spilled from her left hand.] The powerful flame of a young girl's pure heart... take this! Precure Rouge FIRE!

[Flames gathered as a butterfly appeared, wreathed in flames as she shoved it forward, the mailbox exploding into flaming pieces when she did.]

Whoof, yeah there it is in a nutshell. I hope you guys weren't expecting mail.

[While Rin had done her attack, Marisa had reached out to snag a bit of that fire energy and is holding it in her gloved hand, now peering at it.]

Nothing ever comes in the mail except regains. And we're not expecting any. 'Sides, the box will be back tomorrow.

Well that's good at least. [Rin looked over at Marisa holding her attack and rubbed her shoulder.]

I didn't know you could catch a little bit of power like that.

Magic is magic, ze. If you know the basic fundamental makeup of magic, holding fragments like this is easy.

[It's also not enough to be useful for anything other than analysis.]

And this fire is interesting. It's fire, but also much more than that.

Oh? There's something in it?

[Now she was really interested. There was little that the girls really knew about their powers.]

Not so much in it as much as it's just an aspect of it. Emotion or something charging it. I'm not even sure if Patchy could bend your fire to her will as easily as she does any element.

Huh! That is interesting. There's a lot I don't know about my Precure powers but I've heard Nuts mention it's a holy power or something similar to it. And I usually use the route before launching the attack, and it just feels, I dunno, stronger when I do?

It could have something to do with me being the Cure of Passion.

Divine Elemental Magic? [Now that's an interesting concept.]

Yeah. You so need to be poked at by Patchy. Oh, and magic is always stronger when you do a full incantation, even if it's not necessary.

Yeah, he muttered something about the Precure's Holy Power and left it at that. It's not like we've actually got history books on the Precure.

[If they did, they'd be learning about Cure Ange in school.]

If you think that's a good idea, then I'd love to help out. Nozomi would probably get bored quick but I can sit through something like that. [She nods.] That makes sense.

Patchy's probably going to want to look at both of you at the same time. I know I do, ze. Then we can do some good comparisons to your powers.

...hey. Did you know the transformation magic changes your hair color? Cause I'm pretty sure it's not this red normally.

I'll wrangle Nozomi into it. I'll see if I can't bribe her with sweets or something so she'll pay attention.

... huh? [Reaches up and tugs a lock of it over her eyes.] Wow... yeah it's really brightened up. I guess it's part of the disguise magic that keeps normal people from seeing who we are unless we tell them.

Really? You don't look that much different to me.

...then again, I'm a witch.
