Case 1: Awakening/Investigation
[Action: 3472 Erwin Road]
[Shoutaro groans as he reaches up to pull his hat off his face. He remembers falling asleep at his desk. Which at the moment is not feeling like a chair at all. Maybe Phillip and Akiko moved him?
But, moving his hand reveals not a fedora covering his face, but a starchy pillow instead. He sits up, groggily taking in the surroundings. Stark, white ceiling with....really strange-looking wallpaper. A room that he's never seen before in his life. And an even stranger woman sleeping beside him.
He, of course, takes this in his usual, Hard-Boiled stride.]
EEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!?
[Action: Downtown Mayfield]
[Shoutaro has (eventually) found something suitable to wear in his so-called wardrobe, including a semi-decent fedora...nowhere near as stylish as his own several. He's made his way downtown to get away from the 'people' in his house.]
This has got to be a dream. It's just got to be. What in the blazes is this place?
[No amount of posturing is going hide his anxiety, or frustration at waking up in this place. Maybe you can come over and try to calm him down a bit?]

Downtown Mayfield
Hajime's on his way to...well, anywhere that isn't his house because his he and his not!wife do not get along all that well. This is the best way for him to ensure he gets himself a little peace and quiet, only it's not very quiet because that guy over there's freaking out a bit. Though he's only been here a few days himself, Hajime is pretty sure he knows what this guy's problem is. Against his better judgement, he walks over to try to help.]
Easy, there.
Re: Downtown Mayfield
[He spins around, expecting to see another pale drone, but instead is greeted with a much more unexpected face. He has to blink a few times, not sure of what to make of this.]
Sorry. This...just isn't what I was thinking I was going to wake up to this morning.
[He's trying his damndest to get into facade-mode, but his stress level isn't helping.]
Re: Downtown Mayfield
Yes, that happens to pretty much everyone here. This town accumulates people from all over and slots them into fake lives. It's upsetting, but panicking doesn't change things.
[He's such a ray of sunshine.]
Re: Downtown Mayfield
[Especially waking up with that woman. Sure...he would LOVE to wake up next to a woman sometime...but he'd like to remember going to bed with her first!
Though, he's started to calm down a bit, thanks to Mr. Stoic he's run into. Something familiar about him, but he can't quite place it.]
So...we've all been kidnapped then? What about the Americans? Are they all like us too? Or something else? They didn't seem to be asking many questions.

You're in Mayfield, circa 1950s in the United States of America. You've been stripped of any and all powers from your respective world and thus, are rendered human for now.
[ It doesn't even seem like she's picked her head up out of that book. Damn it must be interesting. ]
You've been given a random family of Mayfield's choice and are stuck there until there is a way out. Hope you enjoy your stay, and before you ask - no, I'm not one of them. [ She jerks her head over to one of the drones that are around before continuing to read. ]

[Oh sure...just ADD to his twitchiness.]
No wonder everything here seems so...clean.
[The 'stripped thing is making him only NOW search for his Memories.]
Stripped is right. I'm missing something VERY important. Dangerous too.
no subject
[ The searching makes her raise her head up slightly as she observes him looking for the Memories. ]
You'll eventually regain them, or if you're too antsy about waiting, there's always the post office, but that comes at the cost of memories, body parts or your internal organs. So I wouldn't recommend it if you're not a masochist.

I...think I'll wait if that's the case.
[He has to look down at his hand for a split-second. Still normal.]

[She says this, actually relaxed before she gives a sly smirk.]
Do you want me to pinch you so you could be sure?
Re: action;
I...don't think I'll be needing that, Miss Middle-Schooler. This feels real enough.
action;
[Haruhi folds her arms, frowning. Calling her a middle schooler is bad! Horrible!]
By the way... you're definitely stuck here.
Re: action;
[He doesn't care too much to be honest. All young girls who Aren't Queen and Elizabeth are Middle School to him.]
I kind of figured that. This wouldn't be much of a situation if I could just walk away.

[See this? This is a Date tackling you happily.]

[Shoutaro twists and struggles against the hug for a few seconds, before planting a light bop onto Date's head.]
Date! Let go!

How've you been? Quick, what's the last thing you remember me being involved with concerning you and Philip?
no subject
The Foundation X debacle. With the kid and Hino.
[That Fourze. What a strange Rider he was.]

S-Shoutaro? When did you get here?

[He hasn't quite gotten the hang about using Tsukasa's first name. It doesn't feel like the right time to him for some reason.]
So...Hajime was right: they did get you.

[He gets his camera out, pointing it at the other Rider. Closing the shutter and then winding the film.]
Welcome to hell, Shoutaro.

Oi...
[He gets a better look at the guy. He looks MUCH worse off. Reacting badly probably isn't the best plan.]
You gotta watch where you're going there.
[He holds out a hand to help him up.]

I need to watch where I'm going...

Oh, this is Mayfield, pal. It's kinda of some weird prison with people who act like it's nothing more than a 1950s town, but then crazy things happen occasionally too. Are you new here? That's why you asking?
no subject
[He was a fine and upstanding member of his community, helping people and destroying monsters!]
And yeah...I'm new. I doubt I'd be asking things like that if I wasn't.
