Case 1: Awakening/Investigation

[Shoutaro groans as he reaches up to pull his hat off his face. He remembers falling asleep at his desk. Which at the moment is not feeling like a chair at all. Maybe Phillip and Akiko moved him?

But, moving his hand reveals not a fedora covering his face, but a starchy pillow instead. He sits up, groggily taking in the surroundings. Stark, white ceiling with....really strange-looking wallpaper. A room that he's never seen before in his life. And an even stranger woman sleeping beside him.

He, of course, takes this in his usual, Hard-Boiled stride.]

EEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!?

[Action: Downtown Mayfield]

[Shoutaro has (eventually) found something suitable to wear in his so-called wardrobe, including a semi-decent fedora...nowhere near as stylish as his own several. He's made his way downtown to get away from the 'people' in his house.]

This has got to be a dream. It's just got to be. What in the blazes is this place?

[No amount of posturing is going hide his anxiety, or frustration at waking up in this place. Maybe you can come over and try to calm him down a bit?]

[Date snorted.] Shou-chan. I had to gather Riders from all timeframes. I think I even got a couple of Super Sentai in that mess.

Believe me, after breaking up a fight between Ouja and Chalice, and then drinking with Ichijou... [Date shook his head.] I can take it.

[Shoutaro laughs a bit. That WAS quite the story.]

Ok ok. Welll...I should start off with our newbie. Kamen Rider Fourze. He's a high school kid with one hell of an odd knack for trying to make friends. And the hair: I haven't seen a pompadour like that since I was a kid looking at high schoolers.

Fourze, huh? Sounds like quite the handful. High school puts him on record as one of the youngest Riders I've seen.

From Phillip's research, it looks like he is...with an exception or two.

His Rider form is quite a thing too. His head looks like a bug mixed with a spaceship. And he uses these things called 'Astro Switches' to transform and gain weaponry. Apparently Hino was the first one to encounter him...during that whole thing with the floating medal islands I believe he said?

[Date snapped his fingers.] NOW I know who you're talking about! Hino told me about him. Said that he got thrown right by that kid right into Gara.

I couldn't stop laughing about it for weeks.

It does sound pretty funny. Wasn't it one of those space shuttle hand things and throwing Hino around by the foot?

[He wished he'd been there. Though...he had very little experience against Yummies and such.]

As for you and Hino, he'd lost his powers since you all defeated the Purple Greeed.

[He didn't want to spoil TOO much.]

And these two new Riders, Aqua and Poseidon appeared from the future...Poseidon bent on destroying all the Riders from our era, and Aqua trying to stop him.

Yeah it was.

[Date nodded.] For the sake of me dealing, probably can stop there. I can most likely figure out the rest. So evil riders from the future, and yeah I lived through that whole Maki-chan thing.

[Too bad...he had some cool stories about the older Riders that were helping them.]

So...Hajime mentioned you might be able to transform, while the rest of us can't?

No, I can't. I haven't been here long enough and I'm not sacrificing memories or a body part to regain Tanky. Kasa-chan can't either.

[Shoutaro visibly shivers. He's just no good with missing body parts anymore.]

I wouldn't expect you to. Just trying to get a feel of the situation is all.

Yeah. Well mind you, once you start missing work you'll get a phone call. Miss too much of it and you get droned. So try to put up with it.

[He searches through his clothes for some kind of clue. He pulls out a business card.]

Seems I'm a lawyer here.

I'm a doctor. No big surprise there.

[He puts his hand to his chin for a second.]

I suppose that I don't HAVE to do much lawyer stuff. I can always use the office for my own purposes.

I'm sure that a detective in a place like this could be useful.

[He taps his hat for emphasis.]

Oh right. I was talking to Hajime earlier. We should definitely meet up with each other a few times, just to keep each other informed. I'm going to investigate the heck out of this town, so hopefully I'll come up with something.

Anyone else you can think of that might do good in those meetings?

Other than "don't drink the milk the milkman brings", I can't think of anything offhand.
