[The bed feels empty. That is his first thought upon waking, before his eyes open. His second thought is, I should make pancakes this morning. He rolls over and reaches out expecting to find his husband Chris or at least some warmth in the bed where he'd been only to find... The edge of the bed? He reaches out for Chris with his tail only to find... Nothing? He can't feel his tail! He sits up and looks behind himself. Nothing there!

Except pajamas.

He squeaks and scrambles out of the bed in this small, strange room. He opens the door and pads out into the living room and the kitchen...]

Where am I?!


B. [Action: High School, throughout the school day]

[There's another new student. At the moment, he's a little reserved, but he has a tupperware full of homemade chocolate chip cookies and he will offer one to anyone who approaches.]


C. [Action: About Town, afternoon]

[Ebony is a little lost trying to find his way home. He still has some cookies left in his tupperware if you would like to go talk to him.]

I think I'm lost.

Oh, uhm... I'm trying to get back to the place I woke up this morning. I think it was on Kraken?

Oh, so you're very new then. [Crowe smiles at the mix-up of the name.] I think you mean "Kramden", yeah? It's just three streets over that way. [points] If you want, I can show you.

He's the first one to actually correct his misremembered street name. lol

Kramden? That sounds right! Oh wow! Thank you! Uhm, it would help if you could show me. Just in case, you know? [Don't go away so soon, cutie!]

Sure, no problem. Ah, there are maps available. And a pamphlet about the town, if you haven't already gotten one.

Oh, there is? I haven't gotten one.

Ah, I have some at home. I keep the pamphlets with me when I do my paper route. I can leave one in your mail box tomorrow morning.

Oh, thank you!

[He suddenly remembers his cookies and opens up the tupperware to offer him some.]

O-Oh. [Cookies from strangers? Erk. Well, let's not be rude... He'll take one with a smile.] Thanks. Did you make them?

I did! I baked them this morning! It's the best way to make friends.

[perfectsymmetry]

[He smiles at that, and takes a bite.] Ah, they're good! Baking is something I've been trying to learn since I got here. It's, um, been slow but I think I'm getting it down.

Oh, uhm... I could help you, if you like.

[He does have some natural teaching instincts that like to crop up from time to time.]

Yeah? I've been getting help from a friend in town, but more input is always welcome.
