[Working as a babysitter is pretty tough for Mirai. It's obvious she's not having an easy time of it, as she tries to wrangle 3 drone children who keep trying to run off on her. She grabs one by the collar.]

Hey, where do you think you're going!? Are you trying to get hurt, or what?

[The other two push her forward from behind, and she barely manages to keep her feet as they run off without her.]

Eh-? Hey! Get back here!

[They're out of sight within a few seconds.]

Ugh... Just great.

[Phone]

It's been really quiet lately. Too quiet. This place has to be planning something big to make up for this.

[Action: Around town.]

[Mirai's run out of drone clothes to destroy and re-use as pieces for her growing clothes and teddy bear collection, so that leaves her one option: getting a source of income. The solution? A job, of course!

She's wandering around town with a few job applications in her hand, muttering to herself in an annoyed tone.]

This is so stupid! How can it be this annoying to find a job?

[Action: John Doe Park]

[Later in the evening, around sunset, Mirai has snuck into the park to test out her latest regain. She's not very well-hidden, and anyone wandering nearby might see a bright flash of light, and a girl in a pink, fluffy dress holding a heart-shaped wand behind some bushes.]

It worked! Hah, I knew I would get it back sooner or later! This town can't keep my things away from me for long.

[How smug. Despite that, though, she seems genuinely pleased.]

[Sometime during lunch, Satomi and Mirai are eating lunch when a drone student approaches them. Satomi's kind and friendly personality might suggest that it's maybe for help with classwork, but...]

Hey, Satomi, what are you doing hanging with this loser? You're too good to be sitting with someone like her. You should ditch her and eat lunch with us instead!

[Satomi is about to politely decline, but Mirai gets to her feet and lets the drone have it.]

What gives you the right to tell her who to hang out with, huh? You dumb drone!

Mirai-chan, be nice; The drones are people, too, you know. [To the drone:] Thank you for your offer, but I'm alright; I'm fine with sitting with Mirai-chan.

[action; around town]

[After school, Mirai and Satomi are out shopping! Satomi for her part is treating the drone shopkeepers kindly and like any normal person, but Mirai on the other hand can be occasionally found arguing with them if they say something wrong. If anyone happens to stop to stare at the two, Mirai will turn her attention to them.]

Hey! What do you think you're staring at, huh? If you have something to say to us, then say it!

[action; malt shop]

[At the end of this long day, Mirai and Satomi can be found here, Mirai sulking over the events from earlier while Satomi buys milkshakes for them both. Once the drinks are acquired and both are seated, Satomi attempts to console Mirai.]

There, there, Mirai-chan, it's alright. Don't let them get to you, hmm?
