Phone. [Locked to Neville, early in the morning]
Longbottom? I think I need to talk to you. There is something I have to know.
Action. [Outside 1449 Mitchell Rd, Lily is casting lumos against the second floor bedroom window over and over again, until it's too obnoxious for the person inside to ignore it]
Action. [At 1485 Kramden Rd, Lily had successfully removed the drone parents for the afternoon, keeping them firmly outside the house with a shield charm as she rummages noisily in their bedroom and the livingroom.]
Action. [Outside Mayfield Elementary, Lily passes the time by kicking random pebbles into the wall, waiting for the eventual stream of school children to exit.]

Phone
[Why does he have a feeling this is going to be awkward? There are about sixteen ways he can see this being awkward]
no subject
Harry is in your year at Hogwarts, isn't he?
[She adds after a moment of hesitation.] My son?
no subject
[Yeah, this is one of those sixteen options]
He is. Uh, both.
no subject
If you've known him for five years now, then he must have mentioned how his parents had died.
I really can't ask him that. Not the age he is now, anyway.
no subject
[And that would be one of the other ways this could turn awkward]
He doesn't even know the real story yet... It was a Dark Wizard... real nasty one. Him and the Death Eaters killed a lot of good wizards...
[Or worse]
no subject
And Potter and I were some of them. [she finished the sentence, weakly.]
no subject
[He sounds rather sad, thinking about everyone that died... and everyone that... didn't]
You were the last.

Elementary Action
But today he was there and coming out, he spotted Lily and ran over to her.] Hey!

[There's little of the unease she's come to associate with Harry, and it washes her with relief for a moment.] Want to walk home with me? We could get ice cream on the way back.

[action - 1485 Kramden]
He stumbles down to the family room, still in his pajamas, rubbing his eyes blearily.]
Lils. [His words come out through a yawn.] What in Merlin's name are you on about down here?

[Remus rights the cushions of an already-upturned chair, and takes a seat, chin in hand as he watches Lily tear the furniture apart.]
Perhaps it would be easier to find something if you knew where to look. Or even what you're looking for. But I somehow doubt our drone mum and dad are at the center of this entire conspiracy.
no subject
Forget this stupid place. Did you know there's a war going on back home?
no subject
[Remus is awkwardly silent for a few moments, staring up at the ceiling. He never really has been aces at handling these things, and it seems he's floundering for a moment, unsure of what to say or do.]
Say what you will about the place, it hasn't been all bad.
no subject
They don't need us here, but back home... It's crucial that I return.
Potter is already back there.

[As she moves closer he notices her eyes and his brow raises, voice softening a touch as he helps her inside and sends a silencing charm at the closet.]
Something new explode in our bloody faces?
no subject
You've talked to that boy who comes around every once in a while? Harry? [She asks tentatively, settling on the lower bunk of the bed] James's son?
no subject
Good kid.
[He'd kept quiet that he'd known of Harry's parentage. It wasn't funny to male one's best friend uncomfortable around a kid who'd never known how amazing his parents were.]
