[ Action, 627 Topper ]
[ Uh yeah, so Steve is waking up next to a drone for the first time and falls out of bed because hey, wasn't he in 2012 a second ago? And wasn't he, you know, taller? He's going to do the right thing this time, which is not freak out and tear a hole through the wall, probably because it would kill him to do so.
Instead, he will walk downstairs and snoop around and-- there's a picture of him on the wall, smiling, with his 'wife' and two kids.
He sees a rotary dial on the phone and he picks up to call numbers he remembers from 2012. And then numbers he remembers from 1943. And then zero. And then hangs up and goes to rifle through anything he can find in the shoeboxes of the downstairs closet to tell him where he is and why he's there.
Have fun waking up to your new dad sifting through files all over the kitchen table. ]
[ Action, around town ]
[ He doesn't believe this for a second. But this isn't just any sort of thing; he's small again. Someone's trying to make him forget. So he walks around town, because the one thing he needs right now is to get out of town. ]
Excuse me. Do you know the way to the train station?

To His Grace. To his mother. One such as myself has no friends in the king's court, ser. To conspire with the blood of traitors is to court a cruel death.
[And then she realizes what she's saying. Seven hells. Not only is it stupid, to spill everything to someone she barely knows, but it's rude to talk of your own woes. Septa Mordane once told her that those who complain betray their selfishness and lack of gratitude for the lives the gods have given them. Sansa has gotten used to feeling stupid, but manners are important, dammit.
She clears her throat, suddenly looking embarrassed.]
-- forgive me. I do not wish to burden you with tales. All of that is far away, as you said, and I am well. Do not let yourself be troubled on my behalf.

Maybe I'm not in your king's court, but he seems like a bully and I'd rather marry Death than serve a guy like that.
[ He frowns, because he can't believe he'd be well-loved by his kingdom and he doesn't know what condition they're living in, but he bets they can't rebel, and that kind of system scares him. ]
You'll always find friends. And maybe they've got other things to protect, but I'm not ready to believe everyone's abandoned you. Your king can take everything away from you, but he can't take your hope. And neither can Mayfield.
If it helps you to talk to someone, you can talk to me. Anytime.
