I know that we can recover items from home, and such technology was not available in the era this town is modeled after, but does anyone have a more modern television or entertainment system available that I might be able to borrow? It would need to play video discs of DVD quality or higher. I promise to take really good care of it. [ And she is using her mature-but-cheerful voice for this call. ] It would either be that, or I would ask to borrow your property for a time, so that I might show off a film from home. I will even clean up when we are finished.

[ Action : On the streets of Mayfield ]
[ Nanoha is out walking today, dressed simply but outside of Mayfield's usual standards. It's amazing the difference a shorter skirt makes. Those who know her can probably take a guess that her neighbor and friend, Hayate, is the one responsible for this alteration.

The woman is moving with a purpose in mind, but she'll still stop for some pleasant conversation if someone approaches her. ]

[ There is a knock at the door! But this should come to no surprise as she had called ahead the day before to make certain everyone she wanted to see would be here. Nanoha would very much like to meet Fate's assigned "family". No reason they cannot all get along well, right? ]

[ Smiling brightly. ] Thank you, Vivio! I'm excited to see where you've been staying this whole time. [ Well, and to meet the others, but what is continuity? ]

I'm excited to show you! Fate-mama keeps the house really clean, and my siblings here are really nice. Oh! I can show you my room! [ And how clean it is! ]

It's good that you are getting along with them. I hope I can meet them soon, as well. [ Nanoha reaches out her hand for Vivio to take the lead. ] Let's go, then.

Mm! [ Vivio takes her mother's hand and welcomes her into the house, pointing out things in the entrance like whose shoes are whose, then leads her up to Vivio's room. It might seem a bit odd, how eager Vivio is to show her mom her room before anything else, but Vivio really wants Nanoha to be proud of how clean it is.

Maybe of the report cards on her bed, too. ]

I keep my room clean all by myself! Fate-mama doesn't even need to worry!

[ Given how long they have been apart, for Vivio, Nanoha doesn't find it that strange at all. She steps into the room and takes a good long look around. ] I can see that. Vivio's a good girl, and diligent, of that I have no doubts. [ Perhaps it's a bit of show, but she moves about, sometimes running her finger along the edge of a table or shelf as if checking for dust.

As for the report cards. ] My, then why does it look like a bit of a mess on the bed, though! [ Humming, she sets about gathering the papers up into a straight and neat stack in her hands. She reads the numbers even as she casually sorts them in order, pretending that she doesn't notice. ] I wonder if these don't belong in a file somewhere... or even a frame. [ Yep. She noticed the high marks. ]

[ Vivio giggles proudly. Praise from her mother is one of her ultimate treasures. She likes to feel like she brings honor to her family's name. ]

Eheheh~ The subjects at here seem strange to me, but I'm doing my best! Knowledge is just as important as power~! [ She almost recites this. ]

Right you are. [ Setting those reports aside, Nanoha sits on the bed and reaches out a hand for Vivio. ] Are you at all excited for the new school year to start up again? I am. I'll be able to see your classes first-hand, and meet any friends of yours that I haven't already.
