Episode V: My ride

{A: Action - Open to all}
-- location: John Doe Park
-- time: Midday

[A 40 foot long X-wing starfighter doesn't really fit in the average suburban driveway, let alone a two-car garage, so Luke's landed it in the park to tinker with it. He's brought some tools with him and laid them out on the grass, some made by other people in town, some made by himself, and others from the hardware store that he thought looked semi useful. The severe lack of technology here has been a bit frustrating to say the least.

Luke's sitting cross-legged on top of the craft near the astromech droid port with a couple tools, hunched over an open panel. There's a sudden spark and he quickly pulls his hand away.]
Ow!

{B: Phone - Open to Kaylee Frye}
-- time: Early evening

Hey, it's me. You want to be spontaneous with me? Let's do something tonight.

((Woot! :3 And totally, Force sense all over him! /o/ If he goes too deep, He'll see Jazz is a lot less cheerful then he acts, and that he's currently put and about putting up anti-mayfield propaganda posters that are hidden in his briefcase. And trying to incite rebellion >_>))

[If he were to be honest, Jazz can't help but feel a little nerdy, silly glee, because who would ever have thought he'd meet Luke Skywalker of all humans? Or that he even existed??? So when he just gives a bit of an awed giggle and shakes his head up at the ship when he answers and mutters a soft "This's just groovy...!" it's as much over that as it is the ship itself.

Outwardly, though, he simply plays it off as admiring the X-wing. Play it cool, mech, play it cool.]

Wonder what happened if y'just kept goin' up. If we're on a planet, we may be able t'get back t'our home-planets from there. Though if you're here an' I'm here, too, I doubt it's as simple as planetary tr-OH! I'm sorry, that was rude! [He holds up his hand in an offered handshake, dropping the briefcase beside him.]. Name's Jazz, nice t'meetcha! I just meant...well, where I'm from, th'humans have a movie series 'boutcher galaxy! We all thought it was fiction, which means if it's not, then the people in charge here musta found some way'a bridgin' th'gap between different realities! Gotta few scientist buddies back home who'd love t'take a crack at a puzzle like that.

[He shook his head at the question, glancing back at the ship apreciatively.]

No, not particularly. I can pilot them, but I'm grounder myself. Physically, that is. Mayfield's d'cided I'd make a pretty stylish human, but my race is robotic, an' we take vehicular disguises t'hide. I can't fly. Don't mean I can't appreciate a gorgeous piece'a machinery, though, an' these things were pretty slick lookin' on th'big movie screen.

Which...begs th'question...has it got it's cache'a munitions still on it...? [Because that much destructive firepower could be...very useful...]]
