Operation 01 - Back to basics

[Action - 725 Anderson]

[Fran blinks as she awakens in her new bed. She rises slowly and groggily, and it takes her a moment before she realizes the changes. She pats herself all over, checking her skin, noting the lack of her usual parts.]

Interesting~ Stitches and bolts removed, no sign of surgical intrusion~ In fact, no evidence of any prior surgery at all~

[She finds herself a change of clothes in the closet and then sets about exploring the home, noting her presence in family photos.]

[After dialing a number and assuming it went through.]

Veronica~ Okita~ This is Fran~ I believe I've been kidnapped or otherwise taken by someone~ I'll let you know when I have more information, but the address I've found is 725 Anderson Lane, Mayfield~ I appear to be in America~ Veronica, please don't kill anyone or else I will have to punish you~

Aahh... This will be somewhat difficult to explain, but you are, like myself and many others, currently imprisoned in a location known as Mayfield. The working theory is that it is in fact a simulation of sorts, but the fact remains that the imprisoned come from various differing realms and universes...

More importantly however, is that occasionally a prisoner vanishes in some way. Sometimes when this happens, they return... However, not necessarily with memories of Mayfield.

We've met you see- but we met during your previous appearance in Mayfield...

Ah~ Someone told me that I had been around here at least once before, but I have no memory of it~ They said this was normal~

[There's sounds of ongoing surgery in the background.]

Apparently so... [Biting his lower lip]

[Pause] Sounds like you haven't changed much. [a smile on his mouth]

Yes, someone else I had apparently met said I performed some veterinary work for him~ I'm seeing if I left myself any clues~

Yes, and a scientist~ I've been taking care of Professor Madaraki's lab and patients until he returns from his journey, though I have a number of patients and projects of my own~

Of course. Someone at the house will be able to direct you to it, but Emmett may know of experiments you were conducting.
