[ He knows pretty much anyone who knew he had this idea would object which is why he's up so early. He's brought in the milk but instead of just dumping it down the drain like he usually does he's set it on the table and watches it apprehensively. He has to do this-he has to know. But there's no way to tell what kind of milk it is without... drinking... it. Just the thought alone is enough to churn his stomach. But he won't get anywhere if he doesn't take risks. ]
..is there really no other way to do this?
[ He pours grabs the bottle and pours a very small glass which he makes a disgusted face at before taking it in both hands. 'Just... a little right?' He takes a deep breath and gulps down some air before starting to take a drink-managing to swallow very little of it.. He immediately spews it out though-coughing loudly as he wipes his mouth, traces of blood on his hand and in the spewed milk. ]
Well.. could have been worse. [ Cough-cough-hack ]

[At Pharmacy.]
[ He'll get changed as quickly as possible. ]
Ah-I guess I should tell you- My real name is Shinichi Kudo.
[At Pharmacy.]
Is that what you want me to call you?
[At Pharmacy.]
[At Pharmacy.]
Does this... [He gestures to Shinichi's form.] Happen often?
[At Pharmacy.]
[At Pharmacy.]
[At Pharmacy.]
Ah-well-I actually don't know that much about it-All Haibara will tell me is that it's called Apotoxin 4869. It was originally a drug meant to be used as a lethal poison that can't be traced in an autopsy. As the name suggests it involves the activation of Apoptosis. Haibara, the orignal creator of the drug, says that's most likely that the Apotoxin only activated apoptosis in our non-neural cells and at some point it stabilized. But that's all she'll tell me-something about that's all I need to know about it.
[At Pharmacy.]
"Our cells"?
[The rest makes some sort of sense - hypothetically.]
[At Pharmacy.]
[At Pharmacy.]
[Sherlock sounds more like he's talking from experience rather than deducing other things Shinichi is not saying.]
Are you all right?
[Immediately, right now?]
[At Pharmacy.]
[At Pharmacy.]
Are.you.all.right?
[He won't ask again. Teenagers, they're the worst.]
[At Pharmacy.]
[At Pharmacy.]
[That was said in the "you're an idiot" tone.]
[At Pharmacy.]
It's not so bad after the first few times-Haibara has made a few temporary antidotes, unfortunately though, she won't let me have them unless it's an emergency.
[ 'Now I just need to know how long this will last and if the milk will do this every time... if it does I may never have to be 'Conan' again while stuck in Mayfield. ]
[At Pharmacy.]
[If Shinichi says Sherlock sounds concerned or worried, he'll deny it.]
[At Pharmacy.]
Saa... I believe this makes eight.
[At Pharmacy.]
[Sherlock looks stern.]
You are not allowed to run the experiment again. At least not until we know something more about the milk.
[At Pharmacy.]
[ He winces. Was it really that obvious? Ah well.. how lame was it that he finally gets to be 'Shinichi' again and Ran is stuck as a drone. ]
O-of course.
[At Pharmacy.]
Good, keep it that way.
[Sherlock is now searching through the Pharmacy. There was morphine. He was hoping to find some cocaine, though highly regulated in the 1950s, it was still considered as an aid to those who where experiencing withdrawal symptoms from Morphine back then. There should be some around.]
[As he was looking, he sees some syringes and pockets them. Then he takes one of the bottles of liquid morphine. Then.... on a high shelf in the corner, he finds a small bottle of liquid cocaine. He grins and actually relaxes because he now knows he has a fallback plan. He won't use it unless he needs to, but even just knowing its there is comforting.
Right. Oh,
ConSinichi is still here.]Savior of the Japanese Police Force? That's a rather... impressive title.
[At Pharmacy.]
[ Come to think of it, something's been nagging at the back of his mind since he first had the idea of Mayfield being simulated reality but up until now he's mostly ignored it. No sense in panicking over nothing but... It's probably nothing to be worried about. ]
[At Pharmacy.]
"Them"? Them who?
[At Pharmacy.]
[At Pharmacy.]
Are they here?
[Sherlock doesn't understand why he'd be so worried if they weren't even here. They really have enough to worry about without that.]
[At Pharmacy.]
...I don't know. I don't think so, but it might be possible.
