62 - Action
[He could do this. That wasn't to say Pokey was particularly stoic; in all honesty, he was still scared as hell. But hey, the pain right now wasn't as bad as each of the times he'd been killed. The phantom pains from being burned alive? Seemed to come and go, often pretty inconveniently. He could do with it. The scarring from having his throat slit? Was surprisingly less painful this time. It was happily enough just the scarring, which made breathing uncomfortable and hard, but again, Pokey could deal.
The worst part had been the pain of having his face disfigured again, both from the damage of the acid itself and being forced to remember the betrayal that led to it. At least he didn't have to deal with having his throat burned through again, just his face, leaving him half blind. That was the point Pokey realized he had to do something. He had to get something to dull the pain and
He knew he could ask for help. For once? He knew he could trust people to help him heal. But he couldn't ask that. Not when there were probably people who deserved it a lot more. So out to the store he goes.]
[Action - Mayfield Hospital; Pharmacy Section]
[If you're in the hospital or, more accurately, the small local pharmacy attached to it, you're find Pokey wearing one of the most ridiculously large coats he could find, hood up and his head held down the entire time, an obnoxious yellow scarf tied around his neck. He starts by seeming to look through the medicines they do have out and in stock for painkillers, no matter how weak, and gathering them up in his arms.
And then something goes wrong and, trembling, his right arm shudders and goes limp, all the bottles he had been gathering up dropping to the floor as his left hand reaches to grab at his arm.]
[Action - Around Town]
[Pokey knows where he is. Don't be confused by the fact that he maybe stops in the street, just staring for a moment. Things just...look fuzzy. And he isn't sure if he's going the right direction at the moment. Everything seems weird and blurry, and familiar and yet so different at the same time, and god just why does his head hurt so much?
Don't mind him. He's sure he knows what he's doing. He just needs to lean against the light pole for a minute to rest.]

Re: Around Town
He just shrugs, shaking his head a little and peering at Death from under the hood of his coat.]
