#5 - Carnival

[He'd spent a few hours at the Carnival.  Those few hours turned into an entire day of trying to keep people out of the Freak Show and off the rides.  The drones didn't listen at all.]

There is definitely something wrong with that Carnival!  I've never seen--

Nobody should go to it.  Again, nobody should visit the Carnival.  Please don't!

[It's very easy to hear that he's frustrated and basically disturbed by all of it.]

[Action] - Mayfield Police 

[He'll go to the police station.  If there is another police officer there, he will ask them to help him.  If not, he'll leave.]

Then I'll consider warning my daughter about going there to play while it's in town. I want to thank you for the public safety announcement.

Still, this is good for those who are not as familiar with Mayfield yet. People like myself who are skeptical that things can be as bad as others have said. [ So he will take her appreciation and like it! ]

I feel as though the ones I have talked to about what's happened in the past can be trusted.

[Except that he trusts just about everybody, initially. Well. . .]

Mm. I would rather be optimistic than skeptical, but there is no arguing with evidence.

I agree with you whole-heartedly! I would like nothing more than to see Mayfield turn out to be a peaceful town after all.

[ She doesn't know this man well enough to make any determination the extent of his naivety with a statement like that. ] It would be nice. Sadly, I think it will take a lot of effort for that to happen. [ People have been fighting this place for too long, from what she's heard. ]

Still, Keith, with someone like you looking out for others, I feel my outlook growing brighter.
