[Elmer knows what today is. His drone children woke him up to celebrate early this morning. And since Mother's Day was the day women had to listen to men... Now it's the other way, right?

It doesn't take long for him to figure this out. Time to use it for his advantage.]

Of course I do! Which is why I'm thinking of skipping work and putting together a nice picnic for Nox and Emmett. They both deserve a little rest and bonding time on Father's Day.

[And then she realizes Elmer must have kids assigned to the house with him, or at least drones.]

Ah, how sweet of you.

Sort of, I mean, as much as anyone is! The kids are drones, so they woke up me up this morning to tell me. I hadn't even realized that's what today was until they told me.

We have a list of holidays at the flower shop. I memorized them my first week here. Do you have any plans for the day? Maybe I'll make a cake for the fathers on he block for later.

Getting weapons from home back, a well pressed uniform, coffee that tastes like it's from home, snow, cold weather...

I guess when I think about it there is a lot, but who wants to know all that. I should be asking what makes you smile.

Me? That's a tough one. I don't really know. I don't think I can smile for real. That's why I want to see everyone else smile!

I'm not sure if I ever really can. But if I can make other people smile, maybe some day I'll figure out how. [It's been 300 years. Outlook not so good.]
