Well, that was fun. So that's the kind of thing that happens here regularly?

For any students that actually care, I take back all of the F's that I gave out on Friday. I . . . honestly don't know what that was, so I'm sorry. Cade, if you want to talk, let me know. But I can understand if you'd rather not.

[Around town]

[When Caroline needs to think, she goes out for a run. With some of her abilities regained at the scrambled state of her brain, she has a lot to think about. The completely distracted young woman is running all about town and it's perfectly possible that she'll just run into someone due to her lack of focus. Anyone with magical talent will probably be treated to a double take.

Hopefully she won't run into anything when that double take happens, but it's perfectly possible she'll be spotted having a run in with an innocent tree after spotting someone magically inclined.]

Do you want to just come by here? I've got the house to myself for a bit, I can put on tea. And cookies.

If you're okay with... sure.

No need to wait for a table anywhere. No promises on the quality of the tea, though.

[And she's putting on tea so it can be ready for when her company arrives.]

[ Ilsa arrives about twenty minutes later, knocking on the front door and waiting. ]

[Cade is looking uncharacteristically mopey as he walks through the park. He doesn't notice Caroline at first.]

[She's so busy thinking and running that she doesn't notice him until she's almost on top of him. And then she's coming to an abrupt stop, since she's not sure what the social etiquette is here.]

. . . hi, Cade.

[Cade looks pained for a moment before he gets a hold of himself and throws on his adventurer facade.]

"Well, hello there Caroline. "

[Cade flashes her a flirty smile.]

[Her brow furrows at the pained look before going exasperated at the flirty smile.]

Wow, this isn't awkward or anything. So . . . how are you?

"Better now that you're here.
...and you're acting... civil again. You were a bit mean-spirited the past few days."

And I do need to talk to you about that. I'm really sorry. I don't know what exactly that was, but I was a real jerk to a lot of people. Hopefully you're willing to look past that since we were both being pretty weird.

[Cade smirks.]

"I might be willing to look past it. There was that one fun part."

Cade gets a bit closer and practically whispers in her ear.
"...well, for you I think it was more like three or four fun parts?"
