07 - [AUField] Destroy All Humans
[A - 2239 Stevens]
[Another day in Mayfield. Hajime is most displeased as he wakes up--he's STILL trapped in Human Undead's form and not his own Joker body. He'd taken that form as a temporary disguise back home, and he had no idea it was going to be forced upon him for such a long time.
Thanks to the needs of this human body, he requires breakfast, so he's in the kitchen attempting to make breakfast...at least until he gets distracted. Continuing to wake up here in Mayfield is such a source of frustration he's smashing most things in the kitchen as he tries to get himself going for the day. Housemates will probably wake up to the sound of breaking dishes or clattering pots and pans.]
[B - Butcher Shop]
[AU or not, Mayfield is still Mayfield, and Hajime would very much like not to get droned...so he's showing up for work today. Unfortunately, he's got a far shorter fuse than usual, and you may or may not get that cut of meat you wanted. His laziness is contributing to the formation of a line complete with a handful of complaining drones, and he can only take so much.
He's just flung a knife at the line. Perhaps he threw it at the drone standing next to you. Perhaps it's flown over the top of your head only to hit the wall behind you. Maybe you've regained superpowers and managed to catch it. Either way...dare you say something to the butcher responsible?]
[C - Around Town]
[Okay, enough work. Hajime is prowling around town, looking for a fight. Any fight. He looks angry...pretty much because he is. Try not to bump into him, because he'll probably punch you unless you're quick. Or go ahead and approach, try to figure out what's got him in such a sour mood.]
[D - Around 2239 Stevens]
[It's late, it's dark out, and Hajime appears to be brooding out in the front yard...and he's just kicked over the trash can for no apparent reason. Approach at your own risk.]
((OOC: Hajime's AU has him embracing his role as the world-destroying Joker Undead and basically left him unable to feel compassion or many emotions outside of his own lust for battle and destruction. He's only satisfied when he's destroying things, and he really hates humans. He'll be a violent brute for the duration of the event. If you've had previous CR with him, feel free to remember it as adjusted to compensate with AU!Hajime being a jerk or if you remember it as it was, he'll just figure he was droned or something that day.))

[His saying that is nothing new (except for the Joker part), but the way he says it, now that's different. He sounds...somewhat unstable. Wilder. Floyd, even you should be able to pick up on the fact that something is off with him--just check out the look in his eyes.
The way he shakes off the hug is far, far rougher than it usually is, too. With a very Joker-like growl, he solidly backhands Floyd in the face. It's almost a reflex, as though his body thinks he's under attack.]

If your still mad about the office and the volcano Dad it was just a joke as part of Mom's Mother's Day present, it wasn't meant to annoy you!
[Not much, anyway. *shifty eyes*]
D-Do you need some coffee? You normally feel better after some coffee in the morning!
[Floyd is basically shivering now, the sudden outburst has taken him by surprise. Hajime is normally grumpy and jokingly threatens harm, but normally he seems to get over his anger and let things go. But this time he just outright hit Floyd!]
O-Or I could make you some eggs? Or bacon? Then we can make up?
[Floyd's bottom lip is quivering like a small child before they are about to burst into tears. He is trying hard to hold it back, but he could be flooding the kitchen before the end of this...]

Wait, Floyd is offering food. This stupid human body needs food. There's a slow nod on Hajime's part, although he is rather disgusted by the human display of weakness from Floyd with that trembling lip. His manner of speaking still has somewhat of an inhuman snarl to it; hitting Floyd like that sort of perked up Joker's natural desire for battle, and coming off that bloodlust is never easy.]
Yes. Coffee. Bacon.

N-Nice day isn't it?
[Its the only way to fill the silence that is making Floyd twitchy after the earlier events, its stupid but Floyd needs SOMETHING said to not just start freaking out waiting for the water to heat up. The eventual ping signalling that is is ready actually makes Floyd jump on the spot.]
Ah, its done! Just a few more minutes for the bacon and we're all set. Food... yummy...
[Floyd nervously smiles at Hajime on and off until the bacon is also finished preparing. He does not however make ANY eye contact with him in fear he may lash out again. After fumbling about for a few moments Floyd places a cup on the counter near Hajime, not giving it directly too him but letting him get it himself for safety.]
Here you go Dad, coffee bacon!
[Once again the boy smiles nervously. In the whole stuttering fear he misheard (As well as still not fully grasping human customs) has put the bacon directly into the cup of coffee you can actually see a few bits sticking out floating around.
This will be the true test of Hajime's sanity, or lack thereof, if he drinks this crazy Floyd based concoction without commenting... then something is definitely off with him.]

By the time the food is done, Hajime is sitting there at the table irritably bending a spoon into a right angle, then bending it back straight again. Of course, he doesn't thank Floyd when the coffee's ready...and he doesn't think to check the coffee for bacon bits. He takes a big swig before his eyes widen, he spit-takes, and hurls the coffee cup at Floyd's head.]
Are you trying to poison me?!
[And now he's standing up from the table and looking even angrier than he was before.]

[Its little more than a scream really but Floyd is really in pain at the moment. The time for tears is over, even if he WANTED to cry... right now its just taking all his strength to not continuing screaming his lungs out.]

[The boy has slumped down from the sink, the water not helping that much, and is now laying on a heap on the floor, his face bright red and the light hurting his eyes. His wounds are not life threatening but they are still horrifying to Floyd.
W-w-what's wrong with you?
[There are no tears but you can tell just by his voice that his words are deeply cutting, or would be if Hajime had any humanity.]

[He roughly flips over a chair for emphasis.]
There is NOTHING wrong with me! I am the Joker Undead--this is what I DO. I'm surprised it's taken you this long to learn that, but you never were very bright, were you?
[His set of memories don't match up with the set you have, Floyd. He's pretty sure he's hit you before.]

[What is normally viewed as a smile is now given to Hajime. Apparently even when he is under the strain of attack Floyd's spirit stays strong, if not a little shaky to begin with.]
Before you know it your going to be begging me to make you my amazing bacon coffee, you'll see!
[Yep, Floyd is an idiot but he is one with a big heart in the face of adversity.]

[He yanks the metal stand mixer off of the counter, pulling its electric cord out of the wall. Growling a bit, he walks over to Floyd and brings the heavy metal mixer down hard. Repeatedly. When he's done, he tosses it aside, breathing heavily...and he feels the need to give a good Joker victory bellow after he's done. He is clearly deranged.]

[Floyd's body starts to slide down as he loses his ability to hold himself up. He is simply laying on the floor in a pool of blood looking up at Hajime.]
I... love you Dad...
[Floyd takes one final painful breath and somehow manages to smile (As best possible given his current state) before exhaling the last bit of life from his body...]
